Chapter Eleven:
Tommy's Redemption and A future uncertain.
As Tommy fell to the ground, he crawls into a nearby abandoned factory, The youth, furious by his defeat, yells. "Damn it, I will at least take one of them down even if it kills me!" His thoughts filled with rage before summoning a blade filled with evil energy as a last resort to fight whoever arrives in the building.
"Where are you?!" Jason screamed while keeping his sword in his hand, just in case, before finding Tommy attempting to regain his balance before finally slicing at the teen's chest. "Not...Yet...NOT YET RANGER!"
This slash, causing a decent amount of sparks to fly off of the Red Ranger. "Ugh...I don't want to fight you!" The red ranger pleads with his rival, and surprisingly, finally reaching him but barely.
"..." The Green ranger stopped in his tracks but only to stabbed his sword into the flooring and punched the Leader of the Mighty Morphin. "Time to end this, Jason!" Tommy yells before Jason did the same with the Power Sword.
"Fine! If this will stop this madness, then let's finish this, fist to fist!"
As the two exchanged blows with each other, the strikes began to weaken overtime before the Pink Ranger arrived to see Jason being knocked backward against a wall. "JASON! TOMMY!"
As she screamed out, The young man began to clutch his head for a brief second before staring in Kimberly's direction. "Stay out of this!" He commanded
Kim unmorphed to help their friend out by slowly approaching her friend. "Tommy, Please..."
"Kim? Ughh...No...I need to..." He began to mutter before the unmorphed Pink Power Ranger hugged the teen, causing him to drop to his knees.
As Jason rose, he received a message from their mentor.
"The sword of darkness is the source of Tommy's mind control! Jason, I will charge your Power Laser to vanquish it."
"Got it, Zordon!" Jason answered as he aimed the weapon's point at the Sword of Darkness, and shot at it to finally causing it to vanish into the mist.
"Ugghhh..." The former villain groaned before un morphing back into his civilian form. "What...God...What have I done?"
"Tommy, it's okay.." Kim reassured her crush before the Red Ranger approached the two and help the duo up.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, a little shaken by all that's happened. I feel weak for falling for that witch's spells..." Tommy thought aloud about his disappointment.
"No way you're weak, you took on me and Minato with ease..." Jason attempt to cheer his friend up but Tommy seemed to have some doubts.
"Yeah, but what if one of you died from the fight?"
"Tommy, you can't keep beating yourself up for this, it wasn't your fault," Kimberly explained before his rival agreed by nodding.
"We are here for you."
Tommy stayed silent for a few seconds before noticing a Morpher in his right hand. "...You're right, you guys are my friends, and I want to help everyone." He nodded.
"Oh that's right, where's Minato's group?" The pink ranger asked.
"Not sure, but I have a bad feeling they going need some help." The unmorphed Red Ranger used his communicator to contact the other three Mighty Morphin' rangers. "Billy, can you and Alpha find Minato and the others?"
Back in the Command Center.
"Got it, Jason, let's see..."
"I hope they're alright." Trini thought aloud before Zack commented.
"Yeah, with their Zord's disappearing..."
"Oh no!" Billy in an unusual fit of panic screamed as the Blue ranger explained what he sees. "Another Ranger is fighting Yu!"
"Huh, another clone?!" The black ranger asked before they noticed something odd about the whole fight.
"It looks like Yu might have some history with this guy..." The blue ranger thought aloud before the Yellow Ranger noticed another detail of this fight.
"It's a duel..."
"Huh? Wait, you're right, looks like Aigis and the others are trying to free Minato..." Billy commented as he focused on the captured Red Dino-Thunder ranger.
"Yeah, but it looks like Yu and that black ranger really want to kill each other..." Zack thinks to himself before Trini asked.
"Can we stop them?"
"I will send Kim and Jason there, if we have too many rangers in one place, Yu's enemy could panic and attack Minato." Alpha explained to the three.
"Okay, besides we need to heal up, after all, that's happened, Jason, did you hear all of that..." The blue ranger asked his friend.
"Yeah. I understand."
"Wait, I want to help too." Tommy interrupts the Leader, much to the two's surprise.
"Are you sure you can fight Tommy?" Kim asked.
"Yeah, I need to make up for all I have done..."
"Alright, Let's Morph!" The leader yelled as the three morphed into their ranger's forms and teleport nearby.
At Rita's Moon Base:
"This is interesting, it appears the blue ranger, Yu, is in a duel with the assassin that Lord Zedd has sent, would you be interested in watching this?" Finster asked his leader, through Rita was annoyed.
"Why would I? That fluke is fighting against one ranger, he should be finishing off the rest of those rangers!" The witch exclaimed before walking off.
"Mistress Rita, where are you going?" Goldar asked before Rita explained.
"I'm going to bed!"
As the empress left, the remaining Aliens looked at each other before enacting their backup plan.
Back at Angel Grove.
As the two rivals continued their fight, the three Mighty Morphin rangers arrived before Goldar stepped in front of the trio. "Hold on, Rangers!" The ape demanded much to their annoyance.
"Outta our way!" Jason commanded but to their surprise, he doesn't attack but just continues to stand in their way.
As Kimberly attempts to shoot an arrow to distract the evil ranger, the Ape general activates a device to activate a dome to separate the other rangers and the battle arena between Yu and Sho. "WHAT?!" Kim exclaims before Goldar explained something unexpected.
"In my species, when two are in a duel, there will be no interruptions! So instead, you three fight me!"
"Make that four, ass-head!" Yosuke screamed as he ran to help the three rangers.
As this happens, Minato was finally freed from the cables that held the teen. "Will he be alright?" Aigis asked the former Velvet Room dweller as she held the Red Dino-Thunder Ranger in her arms.
"Hmm...It seems he's in a slightly comatose state..."
"Comatose?!" The yellow ranger cried out but was reassured when Elizabeth explained.
"Don't worry, I sense the familiar presence of my creator radiating from him, in his journey, we would have visited him while he slept if events were that serious."
"I hope you're right..." Aigis sighed as in the red ranger's mind, he was no longer in the blue aura of the Velvet Room he was adjusted to, but instead, a realm hidden in darkness.
In Minato's Dream...
"Ah, it seems we meet again, young man..." The familiar voice of Igor echoed out through the void. Invisible to the youth's sight.
"Igor?"
"Yes, as it seems, you and I are in this void while we watched these two worlds collapse into chaos." Igor chuckled in his usual way.
"What? But what about..." Minato cried out before being reassured by the impish man.
"Don't worry, I am only here as part of an event on your earth but If I am right, then humankind will surely triumph, And eventually..."
Igor stopped himself as a chime echoed out. "It seems you must leave, but first, please accept this gift for you and your team." A light blinded the youth's eyes as his Morpher was changed, with golden spikes replacing the white on it.
"Until we meet again..."
In the Dome...
"So, this will be how it ends, Narukami!" Sho screamed in deranged joy before Yu asked the red-haired youth.
"Why do you want to fight me again?"
"Why? To tell the truth, I just want to see who's stronger...Besides, the world has changed since we last meet." The assassin explained much to Narukami's confusion.
"What do you mean?" The teen asked before the disguised Sho removed his mask and reveal to Yu that he has aged by a few years.
"Take off your's, I need to confirm my theory."
Yu remained silent before unmasking.
"Heh, I was right, you haven't aged a day since we have fought, for me it was at least three or four years."
This surprised the grey-haired youth. "Four years?"
"Yeah, and Japan's heading down a slippery slope before I was teleported here, but hey, things could change for the best though you three vanished off the face of our earth about a couple of months since our last duel."
This revelation actually shocked Yu to the core. "But how? And Yosuke..."
"Enough talk...Let's finish this!" Sho shouted as he charged towards the unmasked Blue Ranger with his blade ready to slice.
Yu, acting quickly, dodged the attack, and slash at his foe and with that last slice, the barrier vanished.
Goldar noticed this, and acting quickly, quipped, "Haha, See you next time Rangers!" Upon this, he took his leave.
"We'll end this sooner than you think, Goldar!" Tommy exclaimed.
As Yu attempt to run towards Minato and the other's location, Sho rose back again, ready to continue. "Not yet, I'm not done with you, yet!" The unmasked Red head screamed as he activates a row of explosives that tore the arena of the skyscraper that the three Dino-Thunder Rangers were on.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Narukami screamed at his rival, only for the youth to laugh.
"I want to see if he's as great as the long-nosed man said he was..."
"Wait, how could you...?" As this was said, Elizabeth, acted quickly and jumped towards a safe part of the crumbling building.
"Liz!" Jason yelled before she noticed that Aigis was attempting to save Minato by carrying him towards the other rangers.
"Aigis, Hang on!" Tommy exclaimed before the duo lost their footing and began to fall with Aigis holding on to Minato.
"Minato, PLEASE WAKE UP!" Aigis screamed before a bright light blinded the rangers and Sho to reveal a new Power-up form for the Red Dino-Thunder Ranger, with his white trimming replaced with yellow, with blue accents inside of them, and golden armor around his shoulders as he and his loved one managed to jump on a piece of debris and landed on top of the destroyed building.
"You alright, Aigis?" Minato asked as he let the android down.
"Confirmed!" The Yellow Ranger cheered as she let out a thumbs up.
Sho wasn't surprised but his silence was broken when the red ranger held out his hand as a familiar card appeared. "Oh crap!"
"Minato, is that a Persona Card?" The blue ranger asked.
"Yeah, but this not a Persona but something for all of us." The blue-haired teen smirked under his helmet as he crushes the card and giving the five Dino Thunder Rangers a Super Mode at has the white trimming on their uniforms transformed into spikes. As well as giving Aigis the ability to flight by adding flaps underneath her arms.
"Whoa, I feel stronger," Yu commented as he approached the assassin.
"Looks like Igor helped you guys out again, but it doesn't matter!" Sho screamed as he attempts to slash his blade at Narukami before the Blue Ranger counter the strike with a quick block.
"DAMN IT!" The red scarred boy screamed as he attempts to slash at his enemy. But to no avail, as his attacks were blocked again and again.
"You know, Sho, you're actually right about one thing, it is time to end this!" The blue ranger said as he simply punched him, sending him near the edge with Sho beginning to lose his balance.
"Damn it, I didn't mean to hit him that hard!" The grey-haired teen panic before he ran towards the redhead, but Sho lost it but was grabbed by Narukami. "Hang on!" Yu commanded before the remaining rangers ran to help him out.
"Hey, are you insane, LET ME GO!" Sho cried out but Yu was stubborn as he and the others attempt to help their human foe back to the roof. "DAMN IT, YOU GUYS JUST LET ME FALL OR ELSE!"
Yu then answered with. "SHUT UP! I'm not the kind of guy that would let a friend die on me, SO JUST LET US HELP YOU OUT!"
Through no one could see it, the scarred teen smirks and tells him, "Geez, you're just like three years ago, but this isn't going end the same way."
As he spoke these words, A laser beam hit Yu's hand, causing him to drop Sho. "SHO!"
In the smog of the city of Angel Grove, the body of Sho Minazuki vanished.
"Dammit..." Yu muttered as the three Mighty Morphin Rangers decide to investigate the laser's origin. As this happened, Minato's team searched the ground level to find anything out of Sho Minazuki but with no luck on both sides, the teams returned to the Command Center with no luck on either side.
With the Rangers arriving along with the freed Tommy Oliver, Zordon congratulated the teams on their victories. But Yu remained quiet, as Yosuke approached his friend. "Hey, you alright?"
"Kind of, but still I am shaken by what Sho explained to me."
"What do you mean?" Yosuke asked in confusion, but the former leader of the Investigation team was uncertain before asking his friend how long has the grey-haired teen was gone for.
"To tell the truth, about four weeks since you have gone missing."
This caused Narukami to be even more confused. "Sho said a few years and that Japan's changed since we were Persona Users."
"Sorry to interrupt but I would like to know too," Minato called out as he and Aigis joined into the conversation.
"He explained that the nation is on a slippery slope but things could change."
"I see, do you think Mitsuru's team has any idea of this happening?" Minato thought aloud before his thoughts were interrupted by the android.
"Yes, we know of Japan's government changing for the worse but our hands are tied."
"What do you mean?" Yosuke questioned much of Aigis' worry before explaining the strange events of the current year she was from.
"Unlike Yu and Yosuke, I was taken from the year, 2016, and a person is running for the top seat of Japan's government. We knew he is abusing a new realm compared to the TV world and Tartarus, but we couldn't find anything on him and worse, because of his ties with those in power, we couldn't get to him with them taking control over the Kirijo group."
"You serious?" This surprised the three males before Elizabeth joined in to confirmed these events.
"God..." Minato thought to himself before the female black ranger had some hopeful news.
"You shouldn't worry too much, They will fail."
"Huh?" Aigis asked before the White-haired female explained there's another group of Persona Users that are righting the wrongs of that man and his group.
"And if I am right, my real master is part of this."
Minato was about to ask what Elizabeth meant by the real master before remembering Igor's vision before gaining his more powerful form.

Whew, it's been way too long, sorry for taking that long of a break. I hoping to continue this fic sooner than later.
So what does everyone think? The references to P5 and trying to create a reason why the Shadow Ops weren't involved make sense, right?
