The Rise of Darth Vader

AU: Realizing that Sidious does not plan to teach him the power of the Dark Side, Darth Vader seeks out the galaxy outside to learn the ways of the Dark Side. Due to his powers becoming stronger, Darth Vader discovers that Princess Leia Organa is his daughter while interrogating her on the Death Star. Now more than ever, he wants to kill Sidious and take control of the Empire.

Five years after the creation of the Empire, Darth Vader knew that his master was not willing to teach him the ways of the Dark Side. Sidious obviously wanted to keep his apprentice easy to control, not to teach him the powers of the Dark Side and to keep him obsolete in his life support suit. The only way he could learn more about the powers of darkness would be to learn from the ancient Sith holocrons hidden in the depths of the galaxy. But he had to do away with the emperor's spies and himself. And when his powers surpass even Sidious's, the galaxy will finally be his.
