- Hi Detective Upton and Halstead, could we have some information on that girl? - Hailey asked one of the doctors

- Why do you need them?- asked the doctor somewhat uncertainly.

- We believe she is involved in a case that we are following.- Hailey replied

- Yes, I'll tell you what I know. She and her friend were on their way home when her friend's boyfriend hit her and took the other girl away.- explained the doctor

- Can you tell me her name? - Jay asked

- Yes, wait a moment, - Lorence said, looking through the folders, - here it is, her name is Delphine Evans.-

- It's her,- Jay said, receiving a nod from his colleague.

So they decided to have Hailey go on with the doctor to get the girl to open up a little. It was understandable that she was scared. The doctor pointed out that she was in shock and constantly asked about her friend and about her. It was therefore easier for her to feel more comfortable with a woman.

Meanwhile, Jay took the opportunity to call Voight to get away from the chaos of the emergency room looking for a quieter place.

As he moved he met again the doctor who had seen him previously and asked her if she could give him something for the migraine.

She initially reminded him that he needed to rest, but realizing they were in the middle of an interrogation, she decided to give him a painkiller.

He thanked her and went to call Voight hoping her migraine would pass quickly.

- Voight,- he answered on the other end of the phone.

- Sergeant it's Jay,- he said

- Where the hell have you gone? - asked the leader nervously.

- We talked to the owner of the nightclub who told us about the friend and boyfriend of the murdered girl. We went to Lakeshore hospital more for a sensation - Jay explained, pausing from time to time to cough - and we found the victim's friend.-

- Good job! question her and then tell us what you have discovered - Voight concluded. -

The detective was about to close, looking forward to having a cough that he was trying to control with difficulty so as not to make it clear that his condition was getting worse. But he was called back once again.

- Jay -

- Yes, Sergeant -

- Are you sure you're okay? -

- Yeah, just a stupid cold.

And so the call between the two ended even though the sergeant was still a bit fussy and had ended the conversation with the idea of checking the detective's condition when he returned to the district.
