Moonwalking Lessons
"Okay kids listen up and listen good okay? Cause it's hard to explain, but visual aids are far necessary. Now pay close attention." I said as the Loud kids started paying attention, except Lincoln who just raised his arm up,
"Yes Lincoln?" I asked,
"I already know how to moonwalk." Lincoln answered,
"Well come here beside me." I said as signal Lincoln and he came right over,
"Okay, watch carefully now." then I started showing how the moonwalk is performed, but sliding my right heel as my left foot tipped, then switch feet with my left heel sliding and my right foot tipped and same way over and over again as Lincoln follows along,
"Question?" Leni raised her arm,
"Why is that called moonwalking? The moon is up and it's not walking at all." Leni asked,
"No no Leni, moonwalking is a dance move, Michael Jackson performed the moonwalk for many years since he made it to light during Motown 25. Have you seen his performances on YouTube at all?" I answered then asked,
"I don't think I have before." Leni answered,
"Well now you just saw it now. Okay, I'll go slow this to show you more easily." I said, then I moonwalk slowly so it's easier for the Louds to follow how that works,
"You got it now?" I asked, they nodded,
"Okay, tried it out." I said, they tried moonwalking, Lola, Leni and Luan were struggling to get the moonwalking right, Lana, Lynn, Lucy and Lori did okay, but Luna and Lisa moonwalks perfectly,
"Wow. Luna and Lisa, that was excellent. You pass with flying colours." I said,
"Aces." Lisa said,
"Wooo Hoooo!" Luna shouts like Michael Jackson does,
"Noice." I said,
"I can't moonwalk in these heels." Lola said as she shows she's wearing pink heels,
"Well, that's okay, I'll teach you without those heels another time." I said, I noticed Leni was sliding with her toes,
"Um Leni, you don't slide with your toes, slide your heel, then tipped toed as you slide the other heel." I explained,
"Oh…", she tried sliding her heel slowly with her other foot tipped, the slide her heel of her other foot and tipped the other foot,
"Like this?" Leni asked,
"Yeah, just like that." I said,
"Yeah. I'm moonwalking." Leni was moonwalking all the way to the edge of the stage,
"AAH!" she screams as she fell off stage,
"Yeeeeesh."
Lily was watching, though she can't moonwalk just, but she did tries to walk backwards to make it look like she's moonwalking and she giggled as walks backwards,
"Aw look, Lily's trying to moonwalk." Luan said,
"Aaaawwww." the kids awed,
"We have a little Moonwalker." I said as I pick Lily up and she was still giggling,
"Moo-wak." Lily said,
"That's right Lily." I said,
"You pass."
