CHAPTER THREE, PT. 2

A new start

POV: Gray and Juvia

Juvia slowly opened her eyes and found herself resting on Gray's arm -A-ah...-

-You sure snore a lot- He saw her face blush and laugh -I'm just kidding-

-Sorry... for sleeping on your arm- she apologized while sitting correctly on the couch.

-Its fine. It was actually pretty cold at night but you kept me warm-

-I-I see...- she smiled -Oh! We should clean this mess- she attempted to stand up, but her hurting foot reminded her she was injured. -Ouch...-

-We need to find you something to help you walk while you recover. Oh and by the way, the pain killers are in the bag over the table- Gray grabbed the instant noodles's cups, the cans and throwed them in the trash.

Juvia jumped her way way to the table and looked inside the bag -There are plenty of medicine- she said in surprise.

-Yeah, I tried to grab everything I could just in case we might need something later- Juvia took the pain killers and drank them with a glass of water. She later made her way to the garden were their clothes were to see if they had already dry. There was no one outside. The street was empty and made gave her the feeling they were the only people left alive. It was a strange and lonely feeling. Once inside, she gave Gray his clothes and went to change on another room. -Thanks-

Gray started changing into his shirt and some jogger pants. Juvia came out wearing her red and black skirt with her black shirt. She brushed her hair and teeth and went towards Gray. -Just now there was no one outside... What if we really are the only ones alive..?-

-There is no way we are the only ones left. Lyon, Natsu and Lucy will be waiting for us today and we will figure out a way to fix everything- he walked up to her and placed his hand on her head. Juvia nodded. -Alright, let's go.- Gray went out first and looked around to be sure there were none of thos things running around. Juvia followed him with difficulty but made the effort to walk as fast as she could. She did not want to be a burden. She was carrying a bagpack with all the medicines and other things they might need. Gray opened the garden's small door and went out of the property -Come here. We should be fast- He kneeled and indicated her to get on his back. She knew it would be hard for her to walk until their meeting spot so she nodded once again and climbed on his back.

-I'm sorry-

-The only thing you should apologize is for drooling on my shoulder las night- he jokingly said. She laughed and hold him tight. He felt her hands on his shoulders. She was trying not to hold him so tight. Her clean and soapy fragrance was reaching him and it made him want to pull her closer. Feeling her body pressed on his made him feel nervous.

-Gray?- she called his name.

-...Hm?- her kind voice brought him back.

-Is something wrong?-

He was caught up so deep into his thoughts that he forgot to start walking. -O-oh r-right- Why was he feeling this way everytime she was close to him? Gray started walking fast while being careful of not letting any of those things see them. The meeting place was a bit far away for them to go walking so the first thing they had to do was find a vehicle.

After walking some blocks they found an abandoned motorbike. -Look! Lets see if it has gas- Luckily for them, it had. -Have you ever--

-There's always a first time for everything- he interrupted her embarrased. Gray put her down and tried to figure out how to drive it. Juvia giggled and sat behind him.

-Alright-

POV Lyon

-And... we're done- said the blue-haired girl.

-...Thanks- Lyon put on his shirt once Levy removed the needle from his arm.

-You know, for just being saved from those things you don't look so happy- she mentioned while removing her gloves.

-My step brother and the girl I like are still out there, and Erza says they won't be looking for them until five days later so...- Levy layed back on her desk and stared at him with her arms crossed.

-I see- she sighed -You know your step brother and the girl must be gone by know-- Lyon stood up abruptly and held her agressively by her shirt.

-Don't you dare say that...-

-I know you wanna believe they're fine but you should be realistic...- Lyon let her go and looked away.

-We agreed on meeting today at the bridge next to the train station, and if I don't show there they might-- Levy sighed.

-Would you risk your life in order to save them?- She crossed her arms in front of her chest and closed her eyes while thinking.

-Absolutely- Lyon replied without thinking.

-You know those things are fast as shit and if they get you they'll tear you into pieces, right?-

-Yeah... I know-

-You're really stubborn, huh..?- she looked back at him directly into his eyes -I'll talk to Erza-

-What?!-

-You wanna get them back or not?- Lyon nodded -Then let me talk to her and maybe you'll be able to go and save them- Lyon opened his eyes in surprise.

POV Natsu y Lucy

-Woah..!- Natsu looked around in surprise -This place is huge, Luce!-

-Stop being so surprised!- she punched softly on the head -people are staring at us...-

-Are you guys new?- a little girl with deep blue long hair appeared in front of them. She was so tiny and her yellow eyes were huge. -I'm Wendy. Wendy Marvell, nice to meet you!- she was so well spoken and cute.

Lucy held her hand and smile.

-Nice to meet a new friend! I'm Lucy and he is my friend Natsu- Wendy looked at him curiously and titled her head.

-I thought you were a couple-

-We are- Natsu replied with an honest look on his face but Lucy punched him in the back.

-No we're not..!-

Wendy laughed -You two seem like nice people. Follow me, I'll show you something-

POV Levy-I said no- Erza refused. Levy walked towards her.

-There's no way those two can manage to live outside during five days, Erza!-

-Why do you suddenly care so much?-

-Because I don't want this guy to go through the same pain I went through...- Levy tried holding her tears back while remembering when everything started.

-You know It's not in my power to make those calls...-

-I know but... You're the Commander's right hand! I'm sure he'll listen to what you say-

Erza sighed and looked at her -Alright... I'll talk to the leader- she walked towards Levy and huged her.

POV Gray and Juvia

-We'll be arriving soon-

-We're really lucky none of those things appeared-

-I know but, don't you think it's strange? Yestersay the streets were full of those things but now there's none of them...- Gray pointed out while driving slower.

-Are things finally going back to normal?- Juvia asked him while looking around.

-I don't think so... I have a weird feeling-
