Jo entered the pool area and discovered Camille who was sitting at one of the tables with a thoughtful expression. She walked over to her and tapped Camille on the shoulder.
"Oh… Jo, you're back."
Jo nodded and sat down. "Yep, long day on set. So tell me what I missed today."
Camille sighed softly and began to tell. Jo looked at her in disbelief. "Are you kidding me? Our little Logan is suddenly cool and I wasn't here to see this?"
"It looks like it."
Jo shook her head and looked at Camille. "Is there anything you would like to tell your best friend?"
Camille smiled weakly. "You know... I really thought that I could just being friends with Logan. And when this whole thing with this stupid app started today, I thought it might be nice for him to get a little more popular. But then I saw him with all these other girls and I..."
"Got jealous?" Jo helped when Camille didn't continue.
"It's more than that. I want him back. But this time he has to take the first step. I feel like I pushed him way too much in the beginning and, in a way, dragged him into a relationship with me. I think he was just overwhelmed with his feelings and not sure what he actually felt for me or how deep those feelings really were. So this time I need certainty."
Jo considered Camille's words for several minutes. Then she said slowly, "I see. But your plan could be quite difficult because Logan doesn't look like the guy who takes the first step."
"Yes, I know," Camille replied quietly.
"The way I see it, it boils down to two possible scenarios. Either Logan actually gets over you and develops an interest in another girl or you have to try to make him jealous."
"I've thought about that too. But to be honest, I'm reluctant to do that. Logan's just too good for this world to be manipulated."
"Yes, that's true. But if you really want to find out how he's feeling about you right now, I'm afraid you won't have any other choice."
Camille was silent for a few seconds, then she said, "I'll wait and see how things develop. But if the worst case actually occurs and Logan really shows interest in another girl, you can be sure that I will act immediately."
"That's the spirit," Jo said with a satisfied smile. "Watch out, Logan Mitchell. Say goodbye to your rationality and get ready to discover your emotional side."
