Chapter 52

That afternoon Rosanna had taken Sage, Parker and J.J. out for a movie and something to eat afterwards. Enjoying some alone time Carly was just about to take a relaxing bath when the doorbell rang. Annoyed she put on her bathrobe and went to open the door.

"What are you doing back here, Jack? You just left a few hours ago." began Carly irritated at first as she opened up the door and saw her ex standing there. She couldn't help it but smile when she saw the hungry look on his face as he started at her;" Stop looking at me like that!"

"I can't help it." smiled he and walked in, closing the door behind him;" You look gorgeous."

"Why are you here?" asked his ex when jack moved in closer and pulled her into his arms as she felt her body automatically reacting as it has always done and was still doing;" Jack….!"

"Where are the kids and Rosanna?" began Jack in a hoarse voice, kissing Carly's neck, as his hands moved beneath her bathrobe;" Are they home?"

"No, they aren't." laughed she, gently pushing jack away;" Stop it!"

"Do you really want me to stop?" smiled her ex as he pulled her back into his arms and kissed Carly on her mouth. He could tell that she wanted him just as much as he wanted her;" Just tell me to stop and I will."

"You're not playing fair!" replied Carly with a sigh;" We shouldn't be doing this, Jack."

"Why not?" asked he frustrated while he made her look at him;" I love you and you love me, Carly. We want to be together and we should be together! Janet knows that I want you!"

"That doesn't mean that I don't have a right to feel the way that I do right now!" answered his ex suddenly angry and pulled away from Jack;" You might be here with me right now, but you're still married to her!"

"Not because I want to be damn it!" scolded Jack as he made her look at him;" What's wrong, Carly? I thought that we had been through this finally. I want to be with you and you know that I'm doing everything that I can to make sure that we can be together again."

"I know." said she a bit calmer;" I'm sorry."

"What is really going on?" asked her ex worried and pulled her back into his arms;" Tell me what is wrong!"

"In two days it's valentine's day and you're still married to her, Jack. I hate that you're not all mine yet!" sighed Carly nearly in tears;" I want you to be all mine again, G-man! Forever this time!"

"I am all yours!" replied he;" The fact that I'm still married to Janet doesn't change that! I'm yours and you are mine!"

"I'd just wish that she would sign those damn papers." said his ex softly as she lay her head up against jack's shoulder as he held her tighter;" I wish this whole mess was finally over."

"It will be." promised Jack and kissed her;" I will fix it and we will be together again, Carly! Forever!"

When Carly didn't push him away this time Jack kissed her again, with much more passion, as his hands found their way underneath her bathrobe and he felt Carly's body reacting to his touch.

Slowly their lovemaking began as Jack gently pushed her down on the couch, knowing full well that she wasn't going to stop him anymore, and took off his shirt;" You're all mine, lady!"

"Rosanna and the kids…!" said she a bit out of breath as she could hardly think straight as her mind and body longed for Jack so much that it physicially hurt;" What if they come back early?"

"Then let's go upstairs." smiled her ex, got off the couch, grabbed his shirt and lifted Carly up in his arms;" Or do you want me to stop?"

"No, I don't!" smiled Carly back, unable to tell him to stop anymore at that point, as Jack carried her up the stairs and into her bedroom, where he lay her down on the bed, and pulled him closer;" You're all mine, G-man!"

A while later Carly lay in Jack's arms under the covers;" I've missed you, Jack. I have missed this. I wish we could lay here together forever."

"I know. I have missed you too." answered he and kissed her;" I will talk to Janet again later today and try to convince her to sign those papers."

"Good luck with that." replied his ex;" If i hadn't made all those mistakes over the years then we wouldn't have gotten a divorce and you never would have married janet or katie for that matter."

"You're not the only one who has made mistakes in this relationship, honey. I have made plenty mistakes too. I never should have married Janet or Katie either when all i really wanted and needed was you." said Jack;" I have let my bruised ego get in the way of us getting back together again way too often. I also have been way too judgemental towards you in the past too, but i promise you that i will never let that happen again."

"I love you ,G-man." sighed she softly;" I always have and i always will."

"And i love you too, Lady. Forever!" smiled her ex as he kissed her;" I'm never leaving you again, Carly. I promise."

Slowly their lovemaking began again.
