Chapter 60
Down at the lakeview Rosanna was talking to Lily;" Have you heard anything from Janet?"
"No, but I don't expect to." answered her friend;" If she does decide to sign those papers then she will probably hand them over to Jack."
"Maybe." said Rosanna not convinced;" On the other hand she might hand them to you because she might be scared that otherwise you will tell everyone about her love-affair with Dusty, Lily."
"That's possible too." replied she;" If I don't hear anything from her by tonight then I will stop by the farm to talk to Jack to see if he has heard anything from Janet. If he hasn't then I'm gonna tell him as well as everybody else what Janet has been up to."
"Won't that be mean to Dusty?" asked her friend worried;" None of this is his fault and he will get hurt as well if the whole town finds out about Janet and him."
"Dusty knew what he was getting himself into when he got involved with Janet, a married woman, and this isn't the first time for dusty to get involved with a married woman." answered Lily;" The most important thing is that Jack gets divorced. And that Carly and Jack get back together again finally, Rosanna. That's what we all want."
"You're right." said she;" I hope janet signs those papers today and then everything will be okay again."
