Hey everyone. It's been a very long time. And I wanted to explain why I haven't updated for so long. For those of you who did read that is. I'm thankful for each of you really. The fact that anyone stopped to read my stuff is flattering, even if it wasn't many. But I'm putting My Place in the World on hiatus. It's not that its bad, really, I think I've done some good work with the first seven chapters. Its that, upon reflection, I had too big a vision. The story would have felt bloated quickly, and I never would have finished it, or the finished product wouldn't have lived up to my expectations. So I'll be taking a break, and downsizing my plans for it. I'll be splitting characters planned to appear here into future stories of their own, and downsizing my original plans. So for now, I'll be focusing on writing The World in My Hands. I've been having fun writing again, after a long while of feeling stressed and unmotivated. So I'll keep doing that.
rest assured though, I will be coming back to this story. Rereading it has made me reconsider my stance. I don't think it's irredeemable. But I will be back and I will be touching it up too, as I look through it. Though more attention was paid to my new stories this one is dear. But for now, until a time when I return, I bid Ethan, Morgan, and all the other characters, not a goodbye, but a see you someday soon.
