Perfecta Flawless

The escort, Lenora, pulled me aside to talk to me.
"OMG YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL TELL ME EVERY LAST DETAIL ABOUT YOUR LIFE!"

I smiled, used to this reaction. It usually wasn't this extreme, though. Lenora must be very excitable. I decided I had time to talk, so I decided to enlighten her. "Well it started with a curse on my ancient ancestor, I think. There was a witch, and an apple, and all sorts of lovely things." She giggled. "I know this story!" I nodded. "Yes, that's the one. I'm her descendant. I'm actually allergic to apples, they make my face swell up." She gasped in horror. "Your poor face!" I laughed. "Allow me to continue."

While Perfecta talked with Lenora, I chatted with my mentor. Tourmaline won the 35th Games, using a unique weapon, her signature emeici. Basically, they were rings with spinnable arrows on them. Watching them in action was incredible, and nobody stood a chance. She set the record for kills, which still stood. I wanted her to tell me what the arena was like, as I knew I'd be unprepared.

"Well, the thing that really got me was the water. There was no natural water in there, and the sponsor water tasted… artificial. It had a metallic tang to it. Same with the Cornucopia water, what little there was. I hope it's different for you, because the small things can put you off your game." I would keep that in mind, and be prepared for anything.

I was away from everyone. My mom (good), Kira (bad). I missed Kira. I was gonna win, and give her a lot. Nothing for my mom though. She could go jump off a cliff. I wasn't usually loke this, with gruesome thoughts. I was going into the Hunger Games though, so I guess I should be preparing myself mentally. Oedipus was staring at me. I looked away and he cleared his throat. I kept ignoring him. He said, "I'm missing an eye, can I borrow yours? You have such pretty eyes." I shuddered, and got up. I walked into a different car. He got up to follow me. "Don't even." I said. I'd had enough of this crap in my life. I saw Ki sneaking out of the room and wished I could go with him. Not that he was nice, but he was better than Oedipus. I could still leave, but he'd just try to follow me. Which is why I slammed the sliding door separating cars on his foot before pushing him out.

Oedipus Daddario

THAT HURT! Oh well. I giggled to myself. I'd have revenge on that girl. How dare she speak to me that way. How dare she do that to me! I was a master of revenge. After all, when I found out my dad was sleeping with my friend's mom, I slept with her too. No, I didn't sleep with my own mother, wrong Oedipus. For this girl though, perhaps I'll skin her. Yeah, I'll do that.

Dora Claire Current

I frowned. The coffee on the Capitol train was pretty good, but it was nothing like we served back home at Firefox. Archimedes was on the same couch as me, so I scooted up next to him. "Hey, wanna be allies? I bet we could both do good together!"

"I feel that fraternizing with you would be inefficacious towards my goal of triumph in this event," he stated. I scooted away, back towards the coffee. I grabbed my cup and walked over to my mentor, Cordelle. She smiled. "Archimedes is a handful, isn't he?" she said. In the 34th Games, Cordelle formed an alliance with the boy from Seven. They made it to the final three and he was killed by the final career before she got a lucky shot with her bow, barely cinching her the victory. She wasn't an expert in anything really, but she was nice company. "Yeah, he is pretty odd. Of course, I'm not exactly typical either. It's not unusual, but most people don't focus on business as a teenager. I want to own a coffee shop, but right now I'm just the manager at a Firefox location," I said. Cordelle looked at me. "You're a manager? That's really impressive. If we can get you home, I bet you can run an amazing coffee shop!" she said. As I said, Cordelle wasn't an expert at anything, but she was pretty darn good at making me feel better.

Archimedes Einstein

Dora Claire struck me as savvy. She would've been a transcendent employee if she wasn't reaped. I decided to observe the reapings. The pair from One were over the top. They would be cherished by the equally gaudy Capitol before their painful demises. The female from Two was a basic career. She would likely die a basic career death. Her comrade was not worth mentioning. I knew precisely what would become of him and it was nothing good. I was next in the sequence. Well, Dora and I. But I had evaluated her and saw myself as more likely to prevail. District Four was a disarray. The female was a buffoon and the male belonged on a crime documentary, though the Hunger Games suited him as well. I stopped after District Five. They remained an enigma to even me. I would finish later. I found myself unable to continue after this eyesore.

Sanguis needed to chill. He had probably cost thousands in damage already, and we hadn't even left the station. I was starting to regret volunteering, but there wasn't much I could do now. It was too late to back out, so I just had to hope I didn't wipe out. Honestly, looking back, there was danger in a lot of things. I had made a list and somehow I chose the Games. Being a deep sea fisherman has plenty of danger, all the thrill I'd have needed but no I had to volunteer. At least I stood a chance at getting home though, that would be radical!

Sanguis Bellum

This train sucked. I wanted to skip this and kill. The training would be the only bearable part. The interviews would end badly for the interviewer, the parade will be a mess, that is kind of exciting actually. I was pumped now. I started smashing things in joy, bellowing as I did so. The girl who came from my district would die brutally, as would everyone else. This was going to be my arena, and nobody would stop me!

OK so, some POVs are longer than others. This isn't me being mean. Just trying to get the info they need out lol. Anyway I'm now thinking of Archimedes as Archie, which im sure he'd hate.
