Vanessa said, as she then showed her revolver, everyone seeing the scratched black metal, and slightly chipped parts of wood around the handle. "This old beauty, had to go through two years of gun training to earn my own revolver."/span/p

So it was gun training, of most guns we could get our hands on." Vanessa explained. "Dad knew how to handle anything you could give him. And all he does is own a small store."/span/p

And with the money he made over the years, he got his own store, selling knick-knacks, potions, ethers, and gun courses. And he took the last thing very seriously." Vanessa explained, having this small smile on her face. It was nice to talk about her for a change./span/p

There wasn't a single place on my island I hadn't explored. Well, other than that Siren Shrine Fallen and I found." Bereit said, with a smile. "I didn't have a lot of friends growing up. But the kids were what I had for family for a while. And they were all very respectful and they'd eat anything you told them to."/span/p

"Growing up, I was a fussy eater. Vegetables, fruits, I would never even think about eating. And I was something of a troublemaker myself."/span/p

It worshipped it's own Divine, but it was a forbidden one. So..." He paused, shaking his head. "Nevermind. Long story short, that religion didn't last long."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Everyone was silent for a moment, until they nodded. "Well, that sucks. Sorry to hear that." Vanessa spoke./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"The party was silent, then a screech from a speaker in the cargo room played. "We're approaching our destination. Be ready for landing." Cid said, as then the speakers were turned off./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit looked at the speaker for a moment, but then stood up, stretching. "Alright... let's head on out." He proclaimed, then went up the ladders to leave the cargo room./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Everyone else watched as he left, as they then looked at each other. "I really hope this goes well..." Zelkova commented, as he then left the cargo room as well. Everyone agreed, but were silent, leaving with Zelkova./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit went to Cid's side, seeing The Shrine of Ancient Divines in the distance. The towering shrine, made of stone, and stood tall. While he looked at it, he was beginning to feel sick to his stomach. For what was waiting for him inside./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"The co-pilot looked at him, and patted his shoulder. "You made it this far. You'll do great."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit looked at him for a moment, and smiled. "Thanks." It wasn't the greatest words of encouragement, but it was that boost he needed. He then looked out the windshield again, seeing the details of the shrine become more clear./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"I've only seen the shrine in books, sketches and portraits and the sort. But seeing it in person... it's amazing. How it stood for so long." Cid said, his hands moving the wheel back, slowing the airship down./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"The landing is gonna be rough. There isn't enough space." Scharf said, coming from upstairs./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out what to do." Cid said, scratching his head./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"There's an island not too far off. Maybe we can drop them off here and they can signal us when they're done." The co-pilot suggested./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Sound good to you?" Cid asked Bereit./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit nodded. "Yeah. I'll just use lightning to signify you guys."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Cid nodded. "Right. I'll let you guys off. Just watch your step when you jump." He warned. He gently lowered the airship to hover over the shattered stone stairs. There used to be a staircase, but it seemed the ocean waters were covering whatever was below./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"One by one, they all jumped off the platform of the ship, landing on the stone ground. They all then looked up, seeing the towering Shrine. The glass windows, having only three they could see. One of a blue dragon, or Erpel, one yellow, and one red. Most likely, they were Shiva, Ifrit and Ramuh. And the stone it was made of, not even a dent. All clean and beautifully shaped./span/p
p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;" /p
p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Wow..." Bereit said in awe. "Eons... and not even a scratch on it..."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Either it's just lucky, or these Divines keep their shrines spic and span from dust or damage." Vanessa commented. "I guess their own shrine comes before the people that worship them."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"If Cid was here, he'd most likely have an answer." Bereit pointed out./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Yeah, we'll ask him once we finish up here." Vanessa said, looking up the towering shrine. "I just hope we don't get lost." She added, starting to walk forward with everyone else, over the stone ground that had spots of water around, and potholes. It was strange that the ground was damaged, but the shrine was far from damaged./span/p

But they walked up the last few staircases, finally reaching the tall doors, that had engravings of five Erpels circling the dark green doors./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit thought about it, and it made him feel a little easier about it. But he was still nervous none-of-the-less. He nodded, and then placed his hands on the door, pushing it. But the door wouldn't budge. "I-it won't move..." Bereit said./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"There was a sudden build up sound inside the Shrine, and then every glass stained window glowed brightly suddenly shattered, as five Erpels flew out of them. One an icey blue, fiery red, yellow, a brilliant white, and a rock brown. They roared in sync, and then flew away, firing magic of their colours out of their mouths./span/p
p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;" /p
p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"The party watched in shock as they witnessed what had just happened. And there was five pillars of light each matching the colours of the Erpels. Though, Fallen's attention mostly went to the Erpel that was suppose to be Shiva./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Was... that suppose to happen?" Zelkova asked nervously./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Beats me... but something tells me we brought the apocalypse to the world." Bereit said, though what he said was close, but not entirely true. Just then, a white light began to glow behind them, seeing a sixth Erpel appeared in the middle of the five, it being bigger than the others, and having it's wings and claws spread out./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"The party watched as their new found clue appeared, suddenly clicking to what was their current goal. "Something tells me we have to find them and kill them." Scharf said, raising an eyebrow./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Fallen looked at Bereit, wondering how he felt over the fact that meeting his parents was put to a halt./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"And I was kind of hoping to finally put an end to the suspense..." He said, looking down, clenching his fist. He then sighed. "Well, it wouldn't be an adventure without it's twists and turns." Bereit added, then turned to everyone./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"So, not only are we closing Anomalies, we have to kill the Ancient Divines too?" Vanessa asked./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Or maybe just prove our mettle against them. Ancient times are usually about proving yourself to your gods, so I'll assume we have to show how strong we are." Bereit theorized./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"...by killing them." Vanessa clarified./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit thought about it, and figured that made sense. "Man... we're in real deep trouble now."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"I'd call it the right path." Fallen said, with a slight smile./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Bereit turned his head to Fallen, smiling back. "Yeah. You're right." He agreed. He brought his hand up, as he shot lightning in the air, to signal Cid and the Co-pilot./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;"span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Within seconds, the airship came back, picking everyone up./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"That didn't take long. And we built it up like it was the end." Cid said, turning back to the party./span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Turns out the Erpels are loose. The ancient Divines." Bereit explained. "So yeah, this story ain't over yet."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"And with the fact we don't know where they went, we've got a journey ahead of us." Scharf spoke up. "But I'd say they're locations should be obvious. There's Kalt which is an ice land. Chances are the cold Erpel will go there. The fire Erpel would probably go to Wuste. Holhen will be home of the brown Erpel. And... that leaves the lightning and the white Erpels."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"I guess they would go to the places that suited their elements." Fallen agreed. "We just need to find out where specifically they'd hide."/span/p

p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%;""span style="font-family: Constantia, serif;"Say no more." Cid said, pushing a lever forward, the engines revving up. The airship then began to fly in the air, and then flew forward./span/p

Everyone focused on the noise of the on-coming airship, hearing it come closer and closer. The airship flew by, and then Shiva threw the spear as hard as she could. The party watched it soar, as it lined up with Ifrit's dragonscale body, and pierced his wing, causing him to crash outside the city./span/p

However, he played into Shiva's trap. She snapped her finger, and Ifrit's mouth exploded a puff of cold air. Ifrit coughed and hacked, his throat now frozen from the inside./span/p

Quickly, Shiva charged ice, to cool the air around them. It took a lot of her magic power to keep everyone alive, but she wasn't strong enough to keep all the other buildings from melting. Slowly, every residential building all turned into ash, magma, fire. There left no trace of them. And the concrete even melted away./span/p

From an Erpel, to what looked like a god. Ifrit now had horns that reached high, his teeth grew razor sharp, his body emitted flames that was a dark red so hot, it hurt to even look at them. He opened it's eyes, now being one line of black, showing his true form. The true Ifrit. He breathed in and let out a massive roar, firing a laser of fire into the sky, watching as the clouds even burned up./span/p
