Science Gone Wrong

Zim is testing on Dib as if he's his plaything, and makes what may end up being a fatal mistake. The real question everyone is wondering is, will he manage to put his differences with Dib aside when the human's life is at stake? OR: A fic I wrote at age 13 and the tentatively on-going rewrite all in one cute little package.

1. A Brief Preface

Hello, and welcome to Invader Dib: New Beginnings!

No, wait, that isn't right, the title clearly says 'Science Gone Wrong' Right? Right?

Regardless, this is a proper relic of a different time. Written when I was a mere 13 years old, this "work" of "art" is well past its expiration date, and I daresay it's due a refresh.

But what of the original? Like a time capsule into a different era, I believe it should be preserved in all of its cringe-worthy glory. You are more than welcome to read it, in fact I encourage you to. But if you would like to skip to a fresher, more… coherent take on the concept, kindly make your way down the hallway to chapter 4 where you will be happy to find a legible work of fiction.

If you would like to check out my other, very similar (I clearly have a type…) work of fiction, I implore you to read my other story: "A Simple Guide to Overthrowing an Empire". It follows a couple of the same conventions, and deals with an exasperated scientist trying everything in the book to restore an amnesiac invader's memories. Quite the read if I do say so myself.
