Chapter 0. Twisting Fate
Having won even a small victory after facing such defeat should have been a cause for celebration. After all, Grima the anathema had somehow managed to destroy all she held dear. Even threaten to kill her. Yet Naga was of the Divine Dragon Tribe and time itself warped to her will. A young woman, Lucina had managed to change the past. Even if it was not in the way she expected. So why did she now suffer this feeling of doubt, like an itch she just couldn't scratch. Grima was just sealed away another thousand years. He will come again, wiser yet paradoxically more insane. Complete victory was possible but could she risk this small victory for what could be total defeat. After all, Chrom, Lucina, and their once cursed matron Robin did to save the world could she put it all at risk again in hopes of something better. Her worshippers in Ylisse, the Mila Faithful, those that still followed Duma, Even the other peoples of the world would all suffer. Grima would make a world fit only for the dead. Her power was immense, her mind sharp, and her will strong but she was not Omniscient. She knew what she needed change but not what the outcome of this change would be. The question remained though was it worth it. She would send her own daughter, Tiki, back in time. Not in the flesh but in mind and spirit. Placing her present memories in her past body. Placing the weight of the world on her shoulders. Yet the final decisions would rest in the hands of a man that was never meant to live. A man whose mind and soul she could only guess at. At worst Grima would be victorious, at best he would be slain forever, or it could end up just as this timeline a mere thousand-year respite. Time always wants to run its original course doesn't it. Was it worth it?

Greetings this is my first work on this site and my first real attempt to write. I am using this as a practical exercise and learning experience. I chose fire emblem awakening as it is easy to adapt to this due to its open ended characters, and basic plot structure being easy to add onto. I am also a fan of the series and enjoy the title. I found the ending lack luster as the choices made had no real change in the story. I also like the idea of both "robins" being twins in the same story. Thus we have Naga coming up with a new plan to get a better ending. I hope readers enjoy this experiment and I will enjoy any feedback.
