This story takes place before Season 12/Prime Empire in the Ninjago timeline, so Jay is engaged to Nya (Yes that did happen) therefore Jay will NOT be shipped with anyone else. And the ninja will still be in their Season 11/Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu Outfits.)

In the skies of a large city there was a case. Three people in hang gliders were chasing after another person who had a wing-suit, the wing-suit wearer was carrying a large bag of money with his feet while the three people in hang gliders were wearing some sort of ninja suit, each of which were a different color.

"He's getting away!" Yelled a man in a red ninja suit.

"How is he so fast!" Yelled another man in a black ninja suit with orange detailing.

"You guys stay on him, I'll try to cut him off." said a third man in a ninja suit.

The other two men agreed as the third flue down a different road. "Ha, you ninja will never catch the great Fuji-dove." The two ninja sweatdrop as one of them says "How does Jay deal with this guy. Oh speaking of which." The ninja taps on an earpiece through his mask "Jay, we need you down here. Fuji-dove is too fast and I don't want to keep listening to him." "Well sorry that I, DON'T HAVE A HANG GLIDER!" Jay responded through the earpiece. "Well then, get one." the ninja replies, "Kai, you broke it remember. Besides, Zane is on his way now, he also has some information for the three of you."

The green ninja just managed to fly in front of Fuji-dove, angering the winged crook. "You really think that you can corner me, the great Fuji-dove. Ha, think again." Fuji-dove spat as he slowly got faster. Then Fuji-dove shot a flurry of feathers towards the ninja, who barely managed to dodge the attack. The ninja soon retaliated, slowing himself down in hopes to hit the criminal, this did not work however as the crook easily dodged the attack, and surprisingly enough a different attack coming from above. The attacker then lowered himself to the rest of the group, he was in a white ninja suit.

"Zane, Jay said you had something to tell us." Kai asked. "I do actually, it seems money wasn't the only thing Fuji-dove was after. In fact, other than money Fuji-dove only stole one other thing." Zane said "There were several different things in the tea shop, what was so specific that it would be the only thing he would get. Other than the money." The green ninja said, "Traveler's Tea." Zane responded.

Fuji-dove saw an opportunity to get the ninja off his tail and took it. He shot a feather straight through one of the hang gliders, it just so happened to belong to the green ninja. With the hang glider cut the green ninja temporarily lost control and started falling. "LLOYD!" Kai, Zane, and the black ninja screamed. The black ninja quickly swept down catching Lloyd. "You Ok?" the ninja asked, "Yeah I'm fine Cole." Lloyd said "Kai, Zane, you two go continue after Fuji-dove, me and Cole will go back to the tea shop and get Jay and Nya."

"Traveler's tea. What would he want with that?" Jay asked.

"We don't know, but if he is going to use it he needs a safe place to do it." Lloyd answered.

"There is an abandoned warehouse on the south side of Ninjago city, every time I have watched him he always goes back there. The only reason I say this is because it isn't his main base of operations." Jay replied.

"Like some kind of vault for what he steals right." Cole asked.

"Well, we better at least check it out. Who knows what he has gotten away with." A girl said. She was in a gunmetal grey ninja suit with cyan detailing. "Ok, how long will it take." Lloyd asked. "About 15 minutes give or take, if he is going there we'll be right on his tail." The girl answered, "Thanks Nya, I'm going to tell the guys where we are going just in case he goes somewhere else" Lloyd replied leaving the room.

Fuji-dove landed a few blocks away from the abandoned warehouse. He hoped that he could lose the ninja by running through the labyrinth of streets and tunnels that make up the area around his destination. The ninja however knew what he was up to.

"Looks like you guys were right. He is about 3 km away from the warehouse." Kai said over the intercom. "Try and keep on him, we don't know if he is trying to go somewhere else still." Lloyd responded "Ok, how longer till we get there." he asked "My guess is about five minutes." Jay answered, "Not anymore, we're speeding this thing up." Nya said pressing down on the pedal of the Katana 4x4 until they were going at max speed with Jay nearly falling off.

Fuji-dove was fast on his feet, almost too fast for the ninja to keep up, almost. Zane was using his ice to make a path that he and Kai could slide on, making them just barely be able to keep up with Fuji-dove. At this point it was clear that Fuji-dove was going to the warehouse, but they didn't know their way around this area. "Since when was Fuji-dove this good at planning ahead." Kai asked "He didn't have that big of an ego either." Zane said "Does that mean that this is a different person." Kai said, "That would be our safest assumption." Zane said.

Jay, Cole, Lloyd, and Nya had just arrived at the warehouse. It was definitely abandoned, but it was run down. The worst they could see was some graffiti here end there, and lots of overgrown vegetation. As they walked to the front of the building Cole said "I didn't think Fuji-dove was a plant guy. He does a good job of keeping the plants at least a little contained." "You would be shocked about how much he knows about plants. He actually knows what he is doing to a point where the overgrown plants don't actually do any damage to the building itself." Jay responds, "How do you know so much about him?" Nya asked, "Well besides the steak outs that always ended poorly me and him actually took out some bad guys that were threatening the environment as a whole, there were also a few cultists we had to deal with too." Jay answered, "Cultists?" Lloyd said, "Yeah they worshiped the toxic bog for some reason and were trying to expand it. They also turned a guy into a giant frog for a little while. The only reason you guys didn't know is because all of you were out on your own missions at the time." Jay stated. Lloyd then stops the group, they had reached the front of the warehouse.

The four of them watched as Fuji-dove flew into the main entrance. Jay was quick to follow him running over and entering the building, the doors closing behind him. Jay slowly made his way to the center of the warehouse. He made sure to have his weapon drawn, and his guard up surveying his surroundings. Once he had reached the center he heard a voice say "You weren't who I was hoping for, but you will do nicely." "Who are you? Show Yourself." Jay said hoping he wouldn't regret his words. "I'm hurt, you don't remember me, or have I really changed that much." The voice said. Jay stayed silent looking into all of the shadows around him. "Now It's time for my revenge. You won't stop me this time." the voice said "So be careful What you wish for." Jay froze up, he knew who he was dealing with now, Nadakhan the djinn.

A portal then opened up below them as Fuji-dove says "I am no one's pawn, Pirate." The portal sucked both Jay and Nadakhan in closing soon after, and the pair fell for what felt like an eternity until Nadakhan tried to swing at Jay with the Djinn Blade. Jay easily dodged out of the way of the attack and put some distance between him and Nadakhan by putting his arms and legs together diving through the portal.

Jay finally fell out of the portal onto the roof of a large building. It was morning time and Jay got up to see a giant woman kick a giant man in the face, knocking him out. Jay then says"Looks like I'm not in Ninjago anymore."
