I was shown to where Yuna was and the moment she saw me, she ran to me. After asking me if I was okay, she explained what had happened. Yuna had been taken to the Al Bhed's Home where she stayed until the Guado attacked. Seymour had brought her to Bevelle, where he was excommunicated and sent in the presence of Maester Kelk Ronso. The Guado that blindly followed were excommunicated as well, and a ship had arrived that held goods and supplies had been sent to the Al Bhed. A peace offering of sorts, was the best guess. That is when Tidus was told that Yuna was safe in Bevelle and that she was waiting for them. The boat brought them straight to Bevelle and had just arrived. Auron looked at me and suddenly blurted out.
"What did you do?" I smiled and told them that I told Maester Mika the truth...and he did what was necessary. Yuna looked at me in stunned silence and a few moments later, a guard brought in a bag of Gil. With it was a note from Mika.
"This is what is owed to Summoner Roselyn and Summoner Yuna for the sale of High Summoner Braska's estate. I sincerely hope I never get the pleasure of seeing Summoner Roselyn's face again. Maester Mika." I read it out loud, and Auron couldn't contain his laughter. Yuna looked at Auron who's laughter had him doubled over, and then at my still grinning face. Everyone else just looked confused. Tidus mostly.
"Mika wants me to be the one that uses the final summoning so he doesn't have to see me again. And I know he would have turned a blind eye to what Seymour did, if I hadn't given him a reason not to. That is the true face of Yevon." I explained to everyone. Yuna looked upset but when Auron caught his breath, he nodded. Auron knew what I was doing...at least this time. As I exited the room, I handed Yuna the bag. Over my shoulder, I told her that the house was more hers than mine. I was just making sure she got it.
Ben and Sora were right behind me as I entered the city and headed for the highbridge. The city was pretty crowded, but it wasn't thay bad. I weaved my way thru the city like a professional, Ben and Sora trying to keep up. I had seen it worse with Braska, so this was child's play. Plus I knew that Yuna would be escorted out of the city, while I was on Mika's bad side. Once I was on the highbridge, I waited for Yuna and the others. Half an hour passed before they could be seen leaving the city. Yuna looked more upset than when I left, and I figured that she saw the machina temple. That or Auron had explained what could have happened. As it turned out, it was Kinoc that talked to her. I only found out because Auron had a look of pure hate in his eyes. That look could only be caused by Kinoc.
When Yuna and the others walked over to me, I said nothing and headed out to the path that would take us to the Calm Lands. We exited into the Calm Lands, and Yuna looked around in wonder. I had seen the Calm Lands before so except for less grass to hide in, I knew what I was in for. I took the first steps in ten years onto the Calm Lands, and the tears started flowing down my face. This was the last place I saw Braska alive. And where he died. Auron noticed how being here affected me, and moved closer to me. As he grabbed my hand, Yuna finally noticed my tears.
"What is wrong?" She asked me, worry in her eyes. That is when Auron told her that it was there that I last saw Braska.
