Yuna looked at me, and I knew I had to explain.
"It was ten years ago, i had just had Zaon and Braska and everyone decided that it was safer for me to stay with Zaon here. Months passed, and I had given up hope. The travel agency was just getting ready to have it's first opening ever, when Braska returned. You see when I stayed behind, I started helping the Al Bhed organize the wares and set prices. And it was the Al Bhed who told me that there was someone to see me. Auron watched Zaon, so that Braska and I could have a final night together before he took on Sin. We didn't have to worry to much. Sin came to us. When Braska called the Final Aeon, Auron shielded my eyes so that I wouldn't have to see. So if I get emotional here, it is because this is where my husband died." I deadpaned. My tears had dried and all that was left was emptiness.
Everyone bowed their heads, except Yuna and Auron. Auron stepped back as Yuna stepped forward. Yuna wrapped me in a big hug before I could even say a thing. Sora tried to cheer everyone up by making funny faces, and I admit that it was hard to keep a straight face. Soon, I was laughing so hard that I couldn't stay on my feet. As soon as I cracked a smile, Yuna smiled too. Auron looked happy that we were smiling and laughing. We laughed half the morning away, thanks to Sora.
When we continued, we made good time to the travel agency. At first the worker didn't recognize me but after they saw Auron, they welcomed me with open arms. I introduced Yuna and the gang to the owner of the travel agency. He was glad to meet my daughter and my other son, and talked about how Zaon was a great baby. After about thirty minutes of talking, Father Zuke appeared.
"You guys really make quite an impression in Bevelle. You came into the city and a Maester was excommunicated and sent, and Grand Maester Mika cast you out of the city like trash. I couldn't help wanting to see who could do all that. So here I am." He said with a smile. Yea, I shook up Yevon and the Maesters. After talking a bit to Lulu, he took his leave. Auron couldn't help but say that Yevon was in chaos, and I agreed. Mika had only did what he did because he knew I would follow through on what I said. And that scared him. Just the thought that a Maester could do that and not be punished would turn people away from Yevon. Of course, he couldn't let that happen.
Yuna seemed to come to the same conclusion, because she stayed silent. We ended staying the night there, for free because of my connection with the owner. We put out our bedrolls, with Sora's beside mine. Being there again, all I could think about was Braska and how I lost him.
Morning came all too soon, and that is when I talked to Lulu.
"Lulu, there are two other hidden Fayth. Can you help me get them, as I get them?" I asked. She nodded and told me that she would help. When we left, I led them towards the fiend arena. When we got there, I told them we needed to stop. Yuna asked why and I told her there were hidden aeons, long forgotten. She took it as more summoner training, and that was fine with me. That is when I told Yuna that we had to stop here because this place had the first key to unlock a powerful aeon. Yuna looked amazed, but said she would follow me. And that was all I needed. So I led them into the fiend arena.
"Why did this have to happen?! I can't have a arena with no fiends!" Trema cried, as we approached. I tapped him on the shoulder, and asked if he needed help. That is when he asked us if we could help, and I said yes. He sold us weapons that could capture fiends and asked if we could start with the ones from the Calm Lands. I looked at the others, and started to walk away. Yuna was right behind me. As soon as we were out of earshot, I addressed both groups.
"We should split up and take out fiends with our new weapons. I will take out the fiends towards the the travel agency, while you take the fiends towards the Macalania entrance to the Calm Lands. We meet at the travel agency at dusk. That sound good?" I asked. When everyone nodded, we split up. When my team got to the travel agency, I waved to the owner and headed towards the back of the Calm Lands. By the time it was dark, we had captured ten of every fiend that we ran into. We even caught a malboro! Well, ten of them. So when we joined up with Yuna and her group, we were exhausted. Yuna had fared as well as we did, and everyone was ready for bed. I gave the owner gil while Yuna and the rest set up for bed. And as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out.
When dawn came, we awoke and gathered our things. The plan was that we head to see Trema together, and get our prize. Heading there was easy and any fiends that we didn't get, we got. And by the time we got to the fiend arena, I was sure we had gotten them all. We rounded the corner, and Trema couldn't stop grinning.
"You did it! I can now reopen my arena! Now for your reward." As he said these words, he pulled out a old locked chest. He told us that he could never open it but if we could, whatever was inside was ours.
