"Oh Journal, Having clocks set up is very helpful, when your home is surrounded by a neverending void of shade. From great distances, giant orbs of light radiate their heat and flash, but never shed light in the darkness that surround them. Giant Spheres with life, gas, and perhaps their own sentience stay within alignment of the Stars. Who am I kidding? Nobody has time to keep track of that anymore. We're gonna need a new home soon. P.S... our food is starting to suck" - Barnette O.

Kakariko Village Morninh
A cool breeze sweeps through the village, carrying Cuccos along with it. The breeze brushes against the homes of the Sheikah residing inside and brushes against the bodies of those farming and standing guard. Along with the breeze, the accompanying sound of children running and playing reliefs the working men and women as they tend to the crops and animals. Kakariko Village feels like a safe haven for any traveler who may stumble upon it. The peace is strong enough to encourage frequent meditation.
With the peace and security provided, Link has taken it upon himself to meditate after his first meal in the morning. His breathing controlled and body relaxed as he sits still on the floor with candles lit around him. Within minutes, Link very mind enters a deep state of meditation.
Noon
As hours pass, the candles burn away no longer. Link, however, remains unflinched. The sliding door to his room opens. "Master Link... i. 's I Paya... grandmother has summoned you. Please see her at once." The young Sheikah speaks while bowing submissively to the hero. Link slowly leaves his altered state of meditation by opening his gaze to Paya. She looks up to find him gazing upon her. To which, she reacts nervously by leaving the room in a hurry. Confused by the haste, Link decides to make his way to the elder.
"Ah.. there you are Link. I pray that your arm gets better, but it's time you get familiar with your left hand again for more than just defense... mmmm I've spoken with Cado on this matter. I will leave it to him to set a schedule for you prepare your sword arm... I've seen you in combat before, so I know your body is more than capable to handle this stress..." Impa slowly catches her breath and nods towards Link. He replies with a nod to speak with Cado outside of her home. Before he opens the door, Paya nervously taps his arm. "Um.. Please stay within the... the village. For your safety M M Master Link..." Link nods slowly nods and steps outside.
Nirvana- Presumed Evening
In the Registry, two of the Mejere pirates sit down against the wall. Both exhausted from work.
Pirate 1: How many days has it been?
Pirate 2: Since when?
Pirate 1: Since we started having shortages?
Pirate 2: I'm thinking 2 weeks. maybe longer... Why?
Pirate 1: I'm missing what was taken for granted.
Pirate 2: Ooooh wait, I thought you were talking about..
Pirate 1: That thing that hit us?! Heck no! I don't want to think about that!
Pirate 2: Rumor has it that we discovered a wormhole that's sucking us in..
Pirate 1: So that's it huh? That's how we all die?
Pirate 2: Perhaps..
Gascogne takes it upon herself to cue the ladies to go get some rest as she finshes checking off the list. "At this rate, we'll be out of supplies and food by 74 hours. Hey... why don't you girls do me a favor.. Go fetch the boss, Magno and B.C for me. After that, go take a break for the rest of the day." The two slowly help each other up and follow the given order. As strongly built as she is, her body is at it's end. Gascogne takes out a small snack from her baggy pocket. "I guess this is the last one for today... Hey! wait! Get Barnette too. It's time for her to cover her shift. She'll likely be sleeping in the armory again."
B.C and the Boss eventually make their way to the registry. The boss taps on the desk to awaken Gascogne.
Magno: Is it as bad?
Gascogne: It's worse. less than the projected 80 hours.
Magno: Hmmm... First the wormhole and this. Have you atleast eaten something?
Gascogne: *nods*
B.C: Where is your relief?
Gascogne: She's coming. The girl has been shutting herself away in the armory and her room.
Magno: Not the only case, but she's the worse.
Gascogne: Everyone's losing the will to keep going. They've been discussing the wormholemore and more. Even some are opting that we fly head first.
B.C: We're brave, but not reckless. We're hours away from it or even less. We just have to focus on the present at the moment.
Magno: We know it's not a black hole... we'd be dead already and stretched out. Hibiki told me that it could be something to look forward to.
Gascogne: *LAUGHS* You mean the now praying pipsqueak is the only one beliving that?
B.C: There is Jura and Dita as well. The hanger has been restricted to only security and maintenance.
Barnette walks in with not so smug look on her face as she gazez upon all three Superiors looking dead at her. "Well, well, well... looks like you finally woken up. Did you eat yet?" Barnette shakes her at after being greeted by Magno. Gascogne gets up and hands her two snack bars. She pats her on the shoulder as she walks off. Giving a sigh, Barnette looks at the makeshift desk with disappointment. "So I guess, I'm gonna be on shift when we get sucked in the hole huh?" B.C and Magno look at each other, the boss nods and walks away. B.C takes a deep breath and exhales slowly. "Yes you are... I know you're frightened, but Meia, Jura, and even I volunteered. The boss and Gascogne insisted it's you."
Barnette:*Stands up and slams her hands on the desk* WHAT?!
B.C: SIT...DOWN
Barnette:*Glares and slowly sits*
B.C: Now... *slowly walks around Barnette* As you know, limited supplies and food, then the wormhole. Both are a problem, but the worm hole is a gateway.
Barnette: Why have me her ma'am?
B.C: *Stops walking and looks over her shoulder* I know you're afraid. I am too. At this moment, I'd give anything to make it stop, even a strong sedative. However, there's news and That Hibiki may be right.
Barnette: About what ma'am?
B.C: There's life past that worm hole. The last probe we sent confirmed it.
Barnette's heart begins to race as she begins to slowly sweat. Her breathing begins to speed up a her eyes widen.
Barnette: L..Life? As in animals? People? water? food?
B.C: Get a hold of yourself. Please. Yes to all, but we lost connection to it after a strange masked man in an all red suit threw a boulder at it.
Barnette:*Still in an excited state* So they're not all primitive?
B.C: FOCUS! You're here because we sent Jura, Dita, Meia, and Hibiki into the wormhole while you we're sleep. You're gonna be here to see to it that remain in communications with you and you are not to leave for 12 hours.
Barnette slowly looks over at the devices on the desk and realizes they are for communication. She looks back up to B.C as she puts on her headset.
B.C: we last heard from them 3 hours ago. Your task is to coordinate them. Are we clear?
Barnette: *Stands and Salutes excitedly* Yes Ma'am!
Hyrule-Outside of Kakariko Village, evening
"Master Link, it's now late. It's best we make our way back to the village." Link and Cado cease the training session for safety, "The Yiga are more mobilized at night, let's make haste." Link and Cado rush back to the village. As they make their way up the path, Link catches a glimpse of something very shiny from a distance. He stops and squints his eyes to get a better view. As soon as he locks his eyes on the light, it disappears. "Master Link!" Link proceeds to follow behind Cado who then insists He hops on his back.
Within moments, they arrive at the village thanks to Cado's great speed and agility. Link hops off the tall Sheikah and looks back. "Master Link, I noticed it too. Hurry into the Elder's house as we prepare another spell. Go now!" Link makes his way to Impa's home as two other Sheikah accompany him.
"Mas.. Master Link! You're ok!"Paya rushes hesitantly to Link as he closes the door behind him, "Grandmother wished to speak with you." A followed nod, Link then approaches Impa and sits infront of her. A few grunts, followed with a gasp, Impa gazes upon Link.
Impa: From here on, Hyrule will receive non native folk. I sensed a disturbance... I have a great feeling you may come across them, but I advise for you to remain in the village and continue training with Cado... Before you sleep tonight, Paya will tend to your arm and wounds.
Paya: H huh?! Oh oh Right! I I agreed to.
Sheikah: *Appears suddenly* Elder, it is not the Yiga, but we sense they are close with their new master.
Impa: We'll watch over you Link. Go rest.
Hyrule- West Necluda
The four pilots from Nirvana finally report back in again to the Nirvana, with Meia handling the communication. When Barnette's face appears on screen, Meia has a strong sigh of relief.
Barnette: Meia! Are you alright?
Meia: We're fine, but we've had contact.
Barnette: Well, mhm, do you have atleast a decent layout of the land so far?
Meia: Yes, we've made a camp close to the river.
Barnette: Tell me about the contact you made.
Meia: We've came across travelers and peddlers alike, but we had to flee a number of times.
Barnette: Details of the hostiles..
Meia: People in all red with strange masks with sharp blades, they're very fast and can disappear into thin air. A couple giant moving stones, they're able to chunk boulders and pull some from the ground. creatures that resemble pigs in the face both small and very tall with blunt and sharp weaponry. And Giant walking arsenals with four legs, humanoid torso and arms, and a face of a lion, which by far is the most frightening thing ever.
Barnette: How did it frighten you all?
Meia: *Inhales deeply while holding back her tears* The roar it gave off... was so loud and paralyzing. It toyed with us while we ran and hid. It nearly killed us all and how it held up Dita as if it was gonna eat her, before tossing her in a lake... Our weapons only made it more angry..
Barnette: It's alright.. you're safe now... wait *Notices Meia's arm* what happened to you?
Meia: *conceals arm* When I got Dita out of the water, it lept from the top of a cliff and grabbed me by the arm and... *Begins to shed more tears*
Barnette: *Shocked* Uh uh, that's enough Meia... Get some rest...
Meia: Will do... Out.
The other three look over at Meia, who've recently lost her strong composure. This is alarming for the squad. Their leader is ashamed and afraid as the others.
Meia looks over and takes in a deep breath... "We move out in the morning... We sleep in shifts. I will stand watch, then Jura, then Hibiki..."
Jura: If we get up early enough, we can probably follow those two men saw.
Hibiki: Please, not more people.
Jura: No no, I got a really good feeling about these two or atleast one of them.
Meia: Where did you see them?
Jura: *Points in the direction of where she noticed Link and Cado* over there above that chasm. I think the young handsome one must've took notice to being watch.
Meia:...
Hibiki: Wait, you're not gonna..
Meia: *Stands up* I'm gonna go there and find help. My arm won't get any better if I sleep.
Dita: That's dangerous. Stay here with us!
Meia: If I'm not back by morning, Jura, call it in. Until then, you're in charge of the squad.
In a hurry, Meia rushes towards the destination in mind. Hoping she doesn't run into anymore trouble.
What's more guilty to a leader? Crying infront of her team? Removing herself? Or seeking aid alone without the watchful eyes of her companions?
