Ruby watched Ren with Nora spar. Ren was the superior martial artist but she liked the way they both moved fluidly.
Since Ren and Nora always trained together, even before going to Beacon academy, their fighting styles look similar. The only difference is that Nora was always on the offensive while Ren was on the defensive. "Hiya!" Nora launch a fierce jab where Ren deflected it with his elbow, causing Nora to shriek in pain. "Ayyieeee! Stop using elbows!"
"You should use them too. They are one of the strongest bones in your body and useful against bigger opponents."
Oscar and Ruby took notes, meanwhile Jaune glanced over to Adam, curious if they wanted to spar. "So hey, think about sword sparring with me? I think you'll be a perfect training buddy." He said.
Adam, unfortunately shook his head. "Gonna have to part ways, at least for a while. See you later, weaklings." He joked.
The three glared at the arrogant Adam but Ruby and Jaune but chuckled, knowing that it was all in fun. "See you around, jerk." Ruby said.
As Adam left, he reverted to his inner true self. It was time to train his Grimm powers, he wondered what they could do besides summoning Grimm from nearby black pools. Alone in an abandoned, desolated field, he tried to activate negative power within himself. Slowly, dark energy course around his body, shaping around his hands. "T-tch..." He muttered, feeling a burning sensation on his body.
Dropping down, the negative energy vanished, "shit..." he muttered.
He stood back up, testing it out again, repeatedly until the pain became nonexistent.
Meanwhile
Blake and Sun honed their skills greatly, mainly Blake. She just gotten used to amplifying her Faunus side.

SLING!
Were blades that Blake swiftly dodge without effort. Several former (and still) White Fang members had to attack Blake while she had to dodge it. And she was doing it perfectly. "Wow, she's doing good." Sun said, pulling a large boulder with a rope.
"Keep quite and pull the boulder." Ghira demanded.
"Aye! Aye! Captain!"
Ghira groaned.
Blake eventually succeeded on surviving the onslaught on without being touched, she reverted back to her base form and look over to her father. "I'll like to take a break, dad. Sun, let's go out for a walk."
Sun blew a sigh of relief, body feeling extremely sore. Ghira nodded his head, thinking that Blake made a lot of progress throughout the past month.
Sun and Blake went and sat at a table that resided at a smoothie place. "Thank god, I needed this. So, whatcha wanna talk about? Tactics on how we're gonna beat Adam and the foxy girl?"
"Sienna and...probably." She replied. "I'm still doubtful that we can win against Adam. My dad might be able to handle Sienna in a one or one fight...might."
"Still pessimistic, aren't you? We beat that coyote and the... chameleon?" He said, still surprised that Ilia was a Faunus. "What's the deal with Adam? You talk about him more than your ex."
Blake glared at Sun which caused Sun to immediately apologize. "S-sorry! I'm just curious!"
Blake then sighed. "He...was my mentor and my best friend back then. Unlike Keith and Humans before then, he actually treated me like a person."
"I see, so why do you talk badly about him sometimes?" Sun asked. "I mean, I sorta get it! Killing Humans thing but this is the first time I heard you say something positive about him."
"He hates me that's why. I know he does. When we were just preteens, we promised each other they we'll be treated equally, even if it takes drastic measures. And sadly, it always been that way and funny enough, it worked." She explained. "I hated the way we became, I wanted me and him to change but he didn't because of the progress. And because of that, me and him argued. He'll call me weak...and I'll call him a monster."
"Geez." Sun said.
"Yeah..." She mumbled.
Blake then noticed that someone was approaching them in a hoodie. Cautious, she gripped on her sword, saying, "hello."
"It's me, Ilia." She whispered.
Sun was about to bust her out until Blake stopped him, wanting to hear her old friend out. Ilia sat with them, even bought herself a drink. "So what do you want? Why are you still here?" Blake asked. Despite being forgiving to Ilia, she was understandably bitter towards Ilia for attacking her parents and Sun.
Ilia knew that Blake angry, and honestly she didn't Blake blame for it. "I want out the White Fang."
"Huh?" Sun spat.
Blake risen her eyebrow. "Then leave. Its not hard. Despite Sienna Khan and Adam goals, they aren't against any Faunus leaving the White Fang . That's if they don't expose any secrets."
"Urk." She grunted. "Well that's what I'm going to do. The main branch of the White Fang is coming for your head."
"Well, that's not a surprise. I mean, you and Keith attacked me and family." Blake replied.
"And don't forget my arm!" Sun added his two cents.
"But it wasn't suppose to be that way! Keith and those other weirdos fucked the whole plan up. We were only trying to convince you and your family to help but Keith attacked you and everything went to shit." Ilia said.
Blake was visibly pissed. Ilia was a good friend of hers and she knew how Keith treated her in the White Fang and how she and Adam got into arguments because of a philology conflict that...and Ilia thought she'll be able to convince her to come back? "You really thought you were going to convince me to come back? Even after what I've been through?"
Ilia sighed. "No, I didn't...I was being selfish. When I took the mission, I felt like I was getting hope that we're getting further into our goals." She replied. "Blake, I need you to tell me again, what's wrong with us fighting back against our oppressors? You're originally from Mistral, you and your family was treated badly there. And with me and Adam, we were slaves when we lived in Atlas and we lost our families. Why is it bad when we fight back?" She asked.
"It's...not bad..." she muttered. "But I don't think its fair to hate everyone. I've made friends with Humans, they even accept me for who I am and they fight with me. So...why should I assume every Human is a monster?"
Ilia didn't know what to say, its hard and still, she didn't know what to do. She didn't want to destroy families but she didn't want to become another victim. Ilia look around Menagerie, admiring how beautiful the place was. "I like this place, its very beautiful..."
Blake slightly smile, "Maybe you should stay, if you're tired of fighting, then this is the perfect place."
Sun rised an eyebrow. "Didn't we just fight here not too long ago?"
Blake frowned, "shut up..." she said, coyly.
Ilia giggled "Well, fighting is going to be all we're going to do. Keith is planning to kill Sienna."
Blake look back at her, with her eyebrows cocked upwards. While Keith was good, he wasn't no Sienna level. "I'm curious to know how and why?"
Ilia gave a blank stare to Blake which had the cat Faunus confused. "For me?" Blake guessed.
"To be honest, a lot of Faunus's hate the Humans and he's going to use their hate to betray Sienna. Excluding now, Sienna only followed the self-defense rule which isn't a bad thing but a lot of Faunus have intense hatred for Humans to the point, they want to rule or kill over Humans. He's going to convince them to betray Sienna and is coming after you, Humans, possibly everyone you love and contacted too. Hell, he might come after Adam." Ilia explained. "And after this, I'm most likely going to be a targeted too."
So Keith was the biggest bad element now. She wasn't afraid surprisingly, but now that asks a question...if Sun, her team, her family gets hurt, we'll it be all her fault?
A couple of weeks later
Adam was getting use to the Grimm power he was given, he felt like it was manifesting with his aura. It showed. Looking at his reflection, his eyes were red like Salem. It would've been weird to see Ruby and suddenly her asking what happen to his eyes. Ozpin and Qrow knew Salem so what if they figured that he had any relation with Salem. Funny enough, he kept in contact with Team RNJR, with them occasionally (mainly Jaune or Ruby) dropping by to give him food. "Hey, you." Somebody said.
Adam look by to see several guys, both men and women approaching him. From their clothes, they were law enforcement. "What is it?"
"You're under arrest for assault on Leonardo Lionheart, put your hands up."
Adam could sense the negativity raising from the group. Obviously, he wasn't going to be all willy-nilly and actually go to join but he was curious on what they were going to do. Putting his hands up, one of the officers locked him in handcuffs. They stood there, suspiciously. "...well?" He said. Suddenly, the man who cuffed him, knocked him straightforward with a kick.
"Smelly Faunus! Wanna be some hero and poking your nose in others business?" The man suddenly shot a bullet at Adam but the bull Faunus rolled over and dodged the bullet. Breaking from the cuffs, he soon later caught the bullet that was shot.
In a small panic, the others started to unload their bullets at Adam but Adam kicked back up before skipping away to dodge the bullets. This was perfect, time to test his powers. Making a Grimm hand over his left, he launched it at a female officer, grabbing her by the neck and slamming her hard against the tree, to the point to tree broken and fell. The life was almost instantly stripped away as the impact crushed her throat, causing her to cough off blood and eventually die.
The others eyes widened and cowered away in fear. One of them tried to get out their walkie-talkie but Adam sent another Grimm hand to ruthlessly tear the man's arm off, causing him to yell in pain. "AH-HHH!"
Luckily, they were a good distance away from civilization, so him screaming wasn't going to be heard by many. Adam then swatted him away against a tree, wanting him to bleed a painful death. "Hehehe, stupid Humans. No longer you'll victimized the Faunus race ever again!" He said, not showing any mercy.
One officer tried their luck and decided to engaged with Adam in close-combat, actually managing to land a hit on Adam's jaw. Adam only laughed as it didn't phase him. He dug his Grimm claws deep within the officer abdomen to the point that blood was spewing out, he then grabbing him by the head before plowing them headfirst into the dirt. He killed the rest gruesomely, only letting one live which was the same one who put the handcuffs on him.
His name is Idaho. Idaho was extremely terrified of Adam's actions, backing up. "Y-you freak! S-stay away from me!"
Adam stretched out his Grimm hand, bringing Idaho forward "Do you value your life?" He asked in a calm tone, obviously Idaho was but he was so scared that he couldn't speak. Frustrated, Adam reverted his hand back to normal before slamming his fist right into Idaho's jaw, knocking him onto the ground, dazed. He picked up his Blush rifle before loading it with fire dust bullets.
"Wait!" He shouted. "Y-yes! I do value my life! I'm married! A-and I have a daughter..."
"A daughter huh? Now why's a family man doing dangerous things like this? Even if this wasn't a racist country, why would you put yourself in a situation such as this?" Adam asked, curiously.
"I was just raised this way..."
"Oh? Guess if I kill you, maybe your daughter wouldn't turn out this way."
Idaho completely in panic mode tried to reason with Adam but before he could say anything, Adam shot him with the flaming bullet which caused a small flame explosion, setting the man on fire. Adam then got his things and went away, satisfied with these powers yet he knows there's more to it.
Back with Ruby, she was still training in hand to hand combat, fairly getting better. Same with Oscar, thanks to Opzin muscle memory but he was still far behind. Jaune was improving on both hand to hand and Sword combat, sparring when Qrow when he wasn't drunk.
Despite being 2 weeks, Ruby hasn't say anything to Qrow, still mad at her uncle from keeping secrets from her. Adam returned, now as Argus which who was wearing a black blindfold to shield both of his eyes. "Oh hey, Argus." Jaune greeted.
"Hey, Jaune." The bull Faunus greeted back. "Hey everybody else."
"Hey, jerk." Ruby greeted, still using that nickname. They couldn't see it but he rolled his eyes. They wondered what was with the blindfold, can he see? Somehow, he did. Anyways, he went to take a shower since he's been outside for weeks. Opening the bathroom door, he saw a blond haired, naked and bruised woman who had a towel wrapped around her body. The two noticed each other with Adam being stoically awkward while...
Several gunshots could be heard inside the building, everybody stopped to see what was happening. When entering, they saw the place riddle with bullets as Adam and the woman having a standoff with their guns. "Wait a minute! What's going on here?" Qrow said.
"This creep walked in on me!" The woman said.
"How the hell was I suppose to know another person was here?" Adam said.
To give her a short bio, her name is Karla Willow. She's a huntress in her early 30s.
Semblance: Shadow. Her Semblance allows her to manipulate her own shadows in various ways, she mainly uses it for binding her opponents or create a Shadow Spectre that's used for offensive attacks.
Qrow sighed. "Calm down you maggots. It's all a misunderstanding."
"Who is she?" He asked, putting his rifle away.
Karla, her gun being a silver and blue semi-automatic uzi which she could change into a decent size metal baton. They are also suitable for dust too which her very affinity is fire dust. She has two of them, by the way. "Karla. She's a Mistral Huntress." Ruby introduced them.
"Former, Mistral Huntress." The bitter Karla said and understandably was. It was time before Qrow and everybody arrived, Lionheart sent many groups of hunters/huntresses out to be ambushed and killed by a horde of powerful Grimm. Karla, barely gotten away, using her Shadow semblance to latch onto the hovercraft. Eventually, she was able to find the hovercraft (the ones that Qrow and team RNJR were in) and escaped back to Mistral.
"Whatever." Adam walked back into the bathroom to finally take a shower.
He changed his attire since his previous clothes might have blood stains on it. He was now wearing a sleeveless black shirt and pants with a red belt tied around it and his Wilt and Blush sheath connected to the belt hoops. He kept the blindfold on as he sat on the couch. "Hey jerkface, what's with the blindfold? Still hiding your identity?" Ruby said, drinking orange juice while sitting in the single seat couch.
"Gonna keep running with that nickname, aren't ya?" Adam said.
"You are a jerk for ditching us." She replied, still sounding bitter. "Anyways, what's with the blindfold?"
"Its a new look." He said.
Ruby was confused. Could he see? Testing him, she held three fingers in front of him. "How many fingers I'm holding up?"
"Three." He answered.
She then puts down two fingers.
"One."
"Okay, how the heck are you doing that? Are you a psychic?" She said. "Is that your semblance? How many do you have?"
He only shrugged, chuckling in a bit. Ruby, frowned at the Bull Faunus, wondering how he was able to be so perfect. Of course, nobody was perfect but his semblance, his prowess was so impressive that Ruby felt envious. She wanted to reach his level, she needed to reach his level to fight Salem and her goons. "How are you so strong?"
"I train." He replied bluntly.
"I'm serious."
"I am too."
"Tell me, how are you strong for a hunter-trainee?" Ruby asked. "I mean, you are a highschooler, right?"
He frowned. "What? Do I look old to you?"
"No. I mean, you remind me of my uncle when it comes to strength, sooo..."
He sighed, honestly he didn't know to explain since he trains like everybody else but to be inspirational or to give small advice. "The reason why I'm strong because I'm motivated to be strong. And by motivation, I mean my reasons. My reasons? I'll keep those a secret but I think having that and improving your weakness while also your strength's will help you improve."
"My strength's as well? So you mean I should still train with my Crescent Rose?"
"Obviously. You don't wanna get shabby."
"I see," she sighed. She thought it wasn't helpful or she wasn't going to improve fast as Adam did.
"Hey, cheer up. Improvement doesn't come fast. Gotta keep working hard at it." Adam stated.
"Well, can you help us train? We only got two weeks, so..."
Adam felt reluctant, but he guess it couldn't be helped.
The two were outside, this time Ruby was had her Crescent Rose. Adam held the hilt of his Wilt sword as Ruby charged at him. Twirling her scythe, she swung it at him with full force as he pulled out his blade, blocking hers. He quickly parried it away as he responded with a spin kick that Ruby manage to crouch under.
Adam used the momentum as he raised his other leg and launch down a heel drop but she was a lot more faster than she looked as she dived backwards, flipping some distance away of Adam.
Adam didn't allow her to get away though, managing to dash right behind her, using natural speed alone. Ruby knew he was behind her but couldn't react fast enough to dodge as Adam sent her flying with a heavy punch. Ruby recovered a lot quicker as she shot at Adam. While doing so, the girl burst into atoms, using her Petal Burst to boost herself right at him.
As Adam deflected the bullet, he reacted to Ruby, reverting back to her normal form, surprised that her semblance boosts her speed too. With so much momentum, she slashed her scythe forward with Adam holding his sword downwards to block the attack. With so much force behind it, Adam was sent skidding far back, eventually falling on his back but he rolled back on his feet. "You tryin to take my head off?" he asked.
"No. I'm just serious!"
Adam loaded his Blush Rifle with his sword before firing it at Ruby. She deflected the sword upward, as Adam appeared above her, catching his sword. He slashed his blade downward which she blocked with the hilt part of her scythe. She went for a swinging high kick that Adam, again manage to avoid as he was now back on defensive as Ruby moved in, spinning and slashing her scythe at him which barely missed as he crouch under it.
Now very closed distant, she slashed down her scythe to the point that the blade collided with ground, causing a small ripple and burst of dirt to erupt up into the air. This time, Adam side stepped it which Ruby was aiming for as planted Crescent Rose upside down in the ground before using the handle to swing at herself at Adam. But what she didn't expect was Adam catching her leg, halting momentum. "You're good Ruby! But not good enough!"
He said, pulling her away from her scythe before slamming her right into the dirt. Oscar saw what happen and came to Ruby's aid. "Ruby?! You okay?" He said, concern. He glared at Adam. "Can you take it easy?"
"No." He bluntly replied. "If you have a problem with my training methods, you can always jump in and change my mind." Adam said, despite having a blindfold on, the farm boy could tell he was being stared down by an ominous glare which had him reluctant to answer Adam's challenge.
"Oscar, she's fine! She's a lot tougher than she looks!" Jaune shouted.
Ruby started to get up, slapping herself to keep her composure up. "I got a lot more aura left! It ain't over!" The petite hunter-trainee said, now force to use her hands since Adam was now guarding her scythe.
Oscar decided to watch, a bit surprise at how resilient Ruby was after taking a full on slam like that.
"Ready?" Adam asked, putting his sword back into his sheath.
Ruby nodded in response as Adam charged first, launching a jab at her. Ruby used the moves she learn from Ren, using her elbow to defend against his punch. That defensive technique was very useful against bigger opponents and actually damaging due to the elbow being one of strongest bone in the Human body. Ruby responded with a thrusted palm-strike, that Adam caught.
Ruby manage to shoved him back with a kick, breaking the distance between them before engaging with each other.
Jaune and Oscar watched in amazement as Ruby and Adam exchanged blows. Adam, obviously being the superior martial artist but Ruby was showing a lot of promise, even landing a couple of punches and kicks. As Adam rattled Ruby jaw with a left hook, the girl grunted before swinging her leg toward his side. Finishing it, Adam flipped over the kick while maneuvering and turning his body.
Next thing Ruby knows, she found herself pulled back with Adam arm locked around her neck and legs locked around her abdomen. Ruby struggled to break free with Adam laughing. "Can't beat me, tiny. Just give..." Adam words trailed off as Ruby could be heard giggling. "What's so-"
And suddenly, he found himself burst into atoms as Ruby used her Petal Burst to propel him and her into the air. "Gotcha!" Both she and Adam returned back to normal with Ruby launching a downwards roundhouse kick into Adam's abdomen, sending him barreling into the ground.
"Hot damn." Qrow said, caught off guard by that sudden attack.
Ruby, feeling sore and beaten dropped and landed onto her knees. "Okay...what the hell was that?" He asked, sitting up from a small carter.
Ruby panted. "I can trap and assist others into my semblance. Doesn't make me as fast as doing it alone but its still fast."
Adam, stood up with Ruby still on her guard. Despite looking exhausted, she still wanted to go on, until Adam turnt his back, saying. "I'm done! You can have this win."
"Huh? Really?" Ruby beamed. She knew that Adam was holding back but didn't held back to actually hit her so she felt appreciated.
Adam placed his bucket hat onto Ruby's head. "Yeah, you did good."
Ruby slightly blush, "T-thanks but you keep it! Just so nothing bad happens like last time."
"Pfft, I'll be fine."
"I know that but just for others sake!"
"Don't start this." Adam groaned.
The two bickered about the hat again but it ended up with them with just simply laughing it off and eventually, Adam decided to keep his hat. It was later, everybody was back into the dorm. With Team RNJR, mainly Ren and Ruby cooking and Qrow and Karla was discussing about trusting Lionheart. While Qrow didn't want to believe it but he found the Lion Faunus extremely shady after what Karla told him.
Most of Mistral hunters were lead to their deaths by a massive amount of Grimm overtime. Lionheart kept insinuating and explaining that people from Yalishin needed help from a couple of Grimm but not even getting far, they were slaughter. "So you're telling me that there isn't no hunters here? No protection?"
"The law enforcement, I guess." Karla replied. "But who the fuck cares? This country is going in shambles if Salem plans to an all out attack."
"That's if people don't go into an ugly panic. Remember, Grimm are only attracted to intense negative emotions."
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Qrow went to go check the door, wondering who was knocking at a time like this. Meanwhile, with our main protagonist, he also heard the knock from a room him, Jaune, Oscar and Ren shared currently.
He looked out to see who it was, his entire world just dropped. The blonde haired girl, he encountered and fought during the Fall of Beacon. And the other was...none other then Weiss Schnee. He immediately backed away, knowing that his whole cover could be blown completely. Could Yang recognize him? He hoped not? Should he just run? "Hey jerkface! Dinner is ready!"
"I'm fine! I'm not hungry!"
"Jerkface?" Weiss and Yang both said simultaneously, surprised that an innocent person like Ruby could even say an insult.
Jaune leaned over and decided to explain the change of Ruby's personality. "She's learnt and been through a lot."
"Oh, so she grown up." Weiss replied bluntly.
"I see." Yang said with a grin, thinking a sassy Ruby would be very interesting.
"Come on! I want you to meet my sister and my friend!" Ruby shouted.
Silence grew between them as Ruby spoken up. "You're going to have meet them anyways if you're planning staying here."
"C'mon dude, the food is getting cold." Jaune said.
Adam sighed. Thank the gods he still had his bucket hat but the challenge is still on. Weiss Schnee was out there. While it wasn't known and wouldn't be surprised if Weiss didn't remember but she and Adam had history with each other and none if it was good. Nervously, he approached the dinner table with his plate of food already made. "Thanks."
"No problem! I've made it." Ren said.
"Argus! This is my older sister, Yang!" Ruby introduced them.
When Adam glanced at Yang, he saw her gripping her metal arm, looking visibly uncomfortable and somewhat scared. This felt extremely awkward, even for Adam's other half. Right now, his inner self took control. "...hey, nice to meet you." Adam said.
"You okay Yang?" Ruby asked, noticing that Yang tone shifted from happy to scared and uncomfortable.
"I'm-...I'm fine!" Yang exclaimed. "I just need to lay down! It's been a long day!" The blonde haired girl jumped onto her feet and immediately travelled to the bedrooms.
Puzzled, Ruby got up and went to check on her sister. "I'll be right back."
Adam sighed."Just a huge coincidence..." He thought, now glaring at Weiss, which who was wondering what's Yang problem.
Weiss then decided to introduced herself but before she could say anything, Adam spoke, "You're Weiss Schnee."
"Oh? You know who I am?"
"Everybody from Atlas knows who you are."
Jaune, Nora, Ren then remembered that Adam is a Faunus, a very defensive one too from what Ruby told them back at Yalishin. And Weiss was here...someone who was originally known to discriminate against Faunus, obviously she changed since then due to becoming very good friends with Blake and getting along with other Faunus's. But from what they're getting now, Adam was from Atlas? "You're from Atlas too? That's cool."
"Yup, I use to work in the Dust Mines there." Adam stated.
Weiss was caught off guard by that sudden statement. The only people who worked in the Dust Mines in Atlas was Faunus's and they were forced to by her father and was barely payed any money to even get by. "I'm sorry to hear that..."
"It's becoming insanely awkward..." Nora muttered to her partners.
"You know, you Schnee's cause me and the Faunus's a lot of problems." Adam continued to talk. "Specifically, you and your father, Weiss."
"Me?" Weiss said. She knew that she wasn't the brightest bunch when it came to being nice but she didn't think that'll cause any problems. Her father? A huge maybe. But her? She didn't think so.
"Okay, let's change the subject." Qrow intervened, seeing how the conversation is starting to become a negative vibe but Adam just flung up, pointing his Blush Rifle right at Weiss forehead.
She backed up, startled by Adam's sudden movement. "W-wait!" Weiss said.
"Argus!" Jaune exclaimed.
"Wait, calm down!" Nora said.
"You bitch! Give me a reason to spare you."
Ren, acted defensive and launched at the gun which he managed to grab. A shot went off that barely missed Weiss's neck. Adam kicked Ren away. Qrow, who was very formidable, manage to get a punch on Adam's jaw that knocked him back. "Bulleye, what the hell?" Qrow said, grabbing on the hilt of his scythe if its needed.
The others soon got up, crowding around Weiss, seeing that Adam was after her.
Ruby, Yang and Karla also came in the living room after hearing the ruckus. "What's goin...on...?" Ruby words trailed, noticing that everybody was staring down against Adam with their weapons ready.
"Argus...attacked Weiss." Jaune stated.
Yang ready her gauntlets, knowing that her institution didn't fail her. "I-I was right! We shouldn't trust this guy!"
Curiously, Weiss asked, "I get that you might hate my father, but I can assure you that I and the rest of my family have nothing against the Faunus!"
Adam started to unwrap the blindfold to reveal himself, "explain this..."
Everybody look slightly widen, either shock or slightly disgust at Adam's left eye. The Schnee dust company sign was burnt into his left eye, leaving the pupil and eye white and gray while around it was a light red color. Weiss eyes widened the largest, suddenly it was brought back into mind. "Ad-"
"Shut up." He said, cutting her off, he'll put his rifle away. He then took his leave from the dorm, knowing that he wasn't welcome here after what he pulled.
Weiss was speechless, now remembering who he was.
Flashback
Adam, a product of the government and soon later the White Fang. He and his mother were slaves, his mother was a slave to a man in a forced marriage while he was a slave to him but also a slave to the Schnee family, having to work late at night at the dust mines every on Monday, Tuesday and the weekend despite his age. His mother Sharia Taurus, now Sharia Loseil after being in a force marriage with her abusive husband Ryan Loseil.
Ryan Loseil isn't Adam's biological father. His biological father was actually a Human too who abandoned them both after finding out Sharia was a Faunus.
Somehow, Adam manage to balance his school life, forced life, and his training time with White Fang. It was tiresome but he manage. At school, he was being bullied constantly due to him being a Faunus. And the spearhead of that was none other Weiss Schnee.
During lunch, milk was spilled all over Adam's red hair as it dripped on over his food. "Oops, my hand slipped," the white haired girl sarcastically as the other students laughed.
Adam sighed heavily, angry at the constant bullying he receive but he couldn't do nothing about it. The girl, Weiss Schnee was the daughter of the President of Mantle and the owner of the biggest dust company and is pretty much the reason why they're in this mess currently. Faunus who tend to go against the Schnee family usually end up...disappearing.
Adam would stand up, startling Weiss a bit. From what she was told, she believed Faunus's were violent animals. And the reason why she believe that, because of her father and the crimes they committed.
It was also known that her uncle was killed by a Faunus too, so her hatred felt very understandable but definitely not justified. "What are you gonna do you filthy animal? My father owns you! So try to put your hands on me!" She said, aggressively poking his chest.
Adam just ignored her and walk right past her to wash his hair. During the bathroom, Weiss and a few others snuck inside the bathroom and splashed a bucket of water onto him. "Thought you needed a bath, dirty animal!"
Adam had endured the bullying but he eventually broken once his step father tried to force sex upon his mother when she rejected, it happen multiple times and eventually she had to given up to him. He'll beat her and pulled her hair aggressively. "G-get your hands off me, you asshole!" Sharia cried out, trying to break from Ryan's painful grip on her hair. Ryan responded by smacking her right in the face, knocking her on the floor.
Ryan glared at her and rammed his foot against her stomach, causing her to grunt and gasp for air. "You Faunus bitch. Remember your place. I can have your ass killed and nobody wouldn't remember you." He said, laughing when the thought of her son Adam came into his mind. "Except that rodent. But who cares? He might become another White Fang criminal."
Silently crying, Sharia was getting up. Ryan only looked at her in disgust but now back what he wanted, he wanted sex, that's why he payed money to own Sharia. Ryan pinned her against the bed, trying to force himself inside the female Faunus. "G-get off of me!"
"Shut up!"
And suddenly she blanked out. Annoyed, the man punched her unconscious...
It was awhile, her hazel eyes slowly opened. Shockingly, she didn't felt violated. But what she saw was truly horrifying. The bed was soaked in blood and Ryan was laying beside her, eyes dulled in lifeless as many visible stab wounds could be seen. "I..."
She look over to see Adam, blood on his hands and the knife was sitting there, beside him. Sharia, was about to go through a panicked attack, hurried off the bed. "Adam, w-why?"
"He was hurting you. He always hurt you." He said, saying in a very emotionless tone. "He deserves it."
This was bad, terribly bad. If this is found out about, she and Adam would be sentence to death, no questions asked. They were going to be found out... "Adam, get out of those clothes...you need to leave."
Adam eyebrows quirked up. "Me?"
She didn't say anything and just brought Adam to the bathroom. It was later, Adam clothes were cleaned of all blood and was wearing new clothes. She was leading him to the door, "leave Adam, you don't know what happen here."
He halted in the walk away. "Mom...please don't do this. It's my fault, put the blame on me. At least you'll find a new home."
"Adam, just go. You don't know what happen here! Okay! This was my fault..." Sharia said, breaking down in tears. She didn't want to die, but she didn't want her son to die either, especially for her. She then let him go and shoved him out and slammed the door in his face.
Adam's eyes begin to fill with tears as he twisted the doorknob, finding out it was locked. She was serious... Adam ran away.
It's been two weeks...eventually people who known Ryan or was related to him was concerned about his whereabouts. And later, Sharia was arrested for his murderer, accepting the crime as her own.
She was sentence to death row.
It was all over the news and it only fueled the bullying for Adam even worse. Again, Weiss spearheaded it. "Why do we have a son of a of an animal in our school?" She rhetorically asked. "shouldn't he be at the zoo?"
The others kids laughed but the teacher told them to quiet down. Weiss continued to giggle but was silence by a straight forward punch to the nose from Adam. Everybody watched in shocked. Did he just lay his hands on the Schnee princess?
Weiss, visibly in tears, removed her hands off from her nose to see blood on her hands. The girl stormed out from the classroom, in tears.
It was one of the biggest mistakes he made but not one he regretted. It was later, he was working in the dust mines where a few dozen of guys, wearing the S.D.C (Schnee Dust Company) uniforms, coming to look for Adam...Weiss was with them.
Weiss look a bit scared, while she was trained, Adam was known to be the Faunus you shouldn't messed with. The only reason why she was able to bully him because of her position. "Is that the boy who hurt you?" A S.D.C worker said.
Weiss reluctantly nodded her head. "He's...really scary..."
"She started with me first-" Adam tried to reason but he was only silenced by a backhand which knocked him down.
"Shut up you worthless runt. How dare you put your hands on the daughter of Jacques Schnee!"
Adam still wasn't going to be pushover, getting up, he punched the Dust worker right in the groin, causing him to squeal and bend over in pain.
Then Adam knocked the man down with a headbutt to the nose. The others chased at him and eventually overwhelmed him with numbers. They all jumped the little boy, not holding back any punches. Weiss, watched, actually scared for Adam. Sure, she wanted him to get ruffled and scared up but they were beating Adam into a pulp. "Okay, that's enough. You don't have to continue."
"No miss Schnee, this Faunus need to learn his lesson for touching you!" A Dust worker taken out an S.D.C torch. It was a torch that others used on Faunus's to mark them or as an offensive weapon.
"AHHGH!"
The boy screamed in agony, having the other Faunus look but then turn away, not wanting to get involved. Grunting and groaning in pain, their mark was burnt onto his eye. "OKAY, THAT'S ENOUGH!" Weiss yelled. "L-let's go, please..."
They've finally listen and decided to leave. That's where the other Faunus decided to check up on him.
It was a week later, Adam was back at school but this time, having a bandage over his eye. The bullying still continued but surprisingly it wasn't as intense, due to Weiss not spearheading as much. She still continued but only done it because her friends insisted and joined in.
But now, she wanted to stop. The guilt became of seeing him in pain, felt very unbearable. After school, she tried to find Adam and wanted to apologize for everything she done. She managed to find him but he was far away. "Hey Adam! Can we talk" She shouted, running at him.
Adam pretended he couldn't hear her and continued on his way. The small chase was on but eventually, she manage to find him on the edge of a cliff? "A-adam?" She called.
Adam fell and dropped far deep into the water. He didn't, he let himself sink into the water.
Minutes later, Adam slowly opened up his eyes to find a very soaked Weiss, pumping his chest. He coughed up water as he soon risen up. Weiss felt relieved but now became visibly angry. "Adam, what the heck is wrong with you?!"
"What?" He said darkly, standing up.
Weiss stood up, scared at how Adam was approaching her. Not only that but she was alone with him. She called her father a to sent someone to come pick her up before to saving Adam but still, she couldn't do anything against the trained and now angry Faunus. "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with me?! I've been treated as the scum of earth!" The bull Faunus shouted. "My eye! My mother! She's going to be gone forever and all you and the other Humans done is talk bad about her!" The boy lashed out, grabbing the white-haired girl by the throat while holding her near the strong current of water.
Weiss didn't what to say, all she tried to do was break free from Adam's grip. Just in time, an Dust Worker came and knocked Adam away with a punch, making him release his grip. As Adam fell, a kitchen knife dropped from from his pocket. He got back up, now filled with bloodlust, he grip the knife while slowly approaching the two.
The Dust Worker noticed him and defensively got out marking torch. "The hovercraft is not far from here, go! I'll teach this dirty Faunus another lesson."
Weiss nodded, thinking that the Dust Worker could handle him so she ran to the hovercraft. That was far from the truth, Adam was well-trained with a knife. Soon as the the Dust worker attacked, Adam immediately counter attacked and went for the lethal blow, jabbing the knife deeply into the Dust worker stomach. "ACK, W-wait!" He said as Adam fell down onto him.
STAB!

The knife went repeatedly as the man gasp for air, bleeding out. Eventually, the man became motionless and lifeless where Adam soon stood upon him.
Suddenly, a blade went through the Dust worker skull as Adam skipped away. Looking up, Adam glared at the attacker but soon calm down when realizing who they were. It was his trainer, another Faunus who was involved in the White Fang. "What have I told you about going for the killing blow? The head is where they die instantly."
His trainer name was Aries, mainly because he had goat horns to show that he was a Faunus. "It took you long enough..." Adam muttered.
"I know. But you must understand, you're only 10 years old. You need to be 15 at least to join the White Fang." Aries replied. "Lucky for you though, they accepted. Now let's go." Aries said, putting his katana back into its sheath.
Adam followed with his head down, crying silently. "My mom, she's gone..."
"I know." Aries replied bluntly. "Your mother is a hero though. She rid that Human filth from the face of the Earth. Such a shame she has to accept that fate."
