Soon as they got back to the dorms, Ruby was met with a heavy slap that nearly knocked her off her feet from Qrow. Everybody eyes widened, except for Karla which who figured why Qrow did that. "You brat!"

Yang, acting upon anger, haired fueled in flames as she shoved Qrow away from Ruby. "What the hell is your problem?!"

"My problem is that she's been actin like an annoying headache and been givin me shit ever since I've gotten here!" Qrow lashed out.

The others knew that Qrow wasn't lying but understood why Ruby was acting that way, especially Jaune who also lost someone because they decided to be a weapon of war and front lines of being humanity's savior. The only difference was that Ruby was lied too and because of that, her personality quickly shifted to an offensive one towards her uncle.

Ruby removed her hand away from her slightly bruised cheek as she furrowed her eyebrows, "Tell them why I've been acting this way."

Qrow groaned, almost going speechless by that. "Look...Ruby, right now it isn't the time to talk about that and besides, it doesn't matter! I specifically told you not to get involved with whatever Argus is doing!"

That's where Yang haired extinguished when that name was brought up. While she didn't like Argus, she still wanted to be on her sister's side. "What does she mean, "acting this way?"" She asked.

Qrow sighed, "I told her about Summer Rose."

"Oh..." Yang muttered which had Ruby to even glare at her.

"you knew?" Ruby questioned.

Yang tried to comfort her little sister, seeing that she was tearing up. "We only tried to do what was best for you Ruby."

But that didn't work, the entire dorm was rattling as Ruby silver eyes were angrily flicking off and on.

Qrow then tried to sooth the situation, changing his tone into a more calm one. "Ruby, after finding out that you only became a huntress to find your mother, we kept her death and your power a secret so you wouldn't have any intention of getting involved with Salem."

"Ruby, please understand." Yang says, knowing the feeling since Summer Rose was her supermom despite not being biologically related. Hell, when finding out about Summer Rose disappearance, she took it hard, even being angry at Summer her for abandoning them.

Ruby eyes returned back to normal as her anger subsided but she was still bothered with sadness and stress as she started to sob. Yang hugged her little sister but Ruby, still internally angry broken free from the hug and went to lock herself in the room.

"C'mon, Leo wants to meet up with us. We could talk with her later." Qrow said.

She didn't pick up again. Sienna that is, none of his friends within the White Fang were answering his calls.

Suddenly, he flung out his blade that only reached to the approacher's neck. "Woah! Adam, wait!" A feminine voice says.

Deery and Perry were both there in casual clothing but still had weapons they've gotten from the White Fang.

(and no, they're aren't ocs. They're just lesser known background characters or in other words extras, lol)

Adam jolted up, actually surprised and glad to see other Faunus, at least from the White Fang. "Deery, Perry...? Wow, I'm surprised you are here. Every member of the White Fang has been dismissing my calls. Including Sienna."

"That's what we've came to tell you. Sienna has dropped down as the leader of the White Fang." Deery explained.

Adam's eyebrow cocked up, confusingly. Sienna, one of the most ambitious person he knows beside himself and Aries, so dropping down as the White Fang Leader? He didn't believe it but if it was true, why was he ignored? Sienna has always made it known that he was going to rule beside her or even going take control if she ended up dead. "Even if I do believe that, why am I being ignored?"

Deery and Perry even look puzzled themselves, with Perry shrugging, "We don't know but from what it seems, we might have a new High leader back within the main branch. We'll assist you if you're planning to investigate." Perry says, both looking rather obliging to actually help Adam to claim leadership over the White Fang.

As much as Adam did wanted to see what happen to Sienna. "I'm staying. I did a lot of damage to the A.F.O and because of that, they're targeting innocent Faunus's."

"Then let us assist you fighting the A.F.O." Deery asked.

But Adam shook his head, no, confusing them even further. "But why not?" Perry asked. "With all due respect, the A.F.O is a common enemy to the White Fang and Faunus. Why deny us our right to fight against the cau-"

"To need you both to stay alive." Adam said, interrupting Perry, he look out into the opening. They couldn't see it since they were a distant away but the elites were heading their way. "I need extra hands, but not for this suicide mission so hide away until this over."

Seeing how Adam was very serious about this, they decided to follow his commands and immediately fleeing from the scene. Adam loaded up his gun and started to slowly pace forward to the elites.

Only Gale and Metallic shown themselves with Adam being shocked at how completely healed Gale was. Acting smugglingly, "You need all of this manpower just to take out one Faunus? Make sense, especially for you sword guy." He says, referring to Gale, visibly pissing him off.

"Don't act all high and mighty. Your win was nothing but a fluke! If I didn't act cocky, you would've been dead!" Gale replied defensively, throwing away his cloak as blades stuck out of the top part of his wrists.

Metallic body became silver, body being a lot stronger than metal. "Nothing won't be a fluke this time, Faunus. Time to die!"

POW! POW!

As Adam was about to brace himself for Metallic, he was ambushed by a horde of explosive arrows from behind. "Gah!" He grunted as he was floored on the ground by a heavy hook from Metallic.

Metallic, waving away the smoke of the explosion, unfazed. He slowly got up, noticing Pryor holding a rapid crossbow.

Suddenly, tendrils was coming out the ground, trying to wrap around Adam body. Quickly, he tried to slash out them, only to be combusted into flames. "Argh...fire dust..." He painfully muttered.

Suddenly Yeoman came crashing down, using his aura rotation. Fortunately, Adam used Argus speed semblance to evade the attack.

"Watch out, Metallic!" Gale was unfortunately familiar with Adam using his speed, always attacking from behind once using it.

Metallic manage to turn and block the blade with his forearm. Adam furrowed his eyebrows in frustration, now clashing metal with both Gale and Metallic, collecting aura while also having his aura broken down from the attacks he couldn't block.

He started to use his Grimm powers as he warded off a blade attack from Gale and summoned a Grimm hand around his to grab and drag Metallic through the ground. "What the..." Gale said as he was suddenly caught off guard by Adam's point-blank aura slash that manage to connect onto his neck.

Gale barreled and bounced back by the explosion with his own aura taken heavy damage. He was lucky to be alive, using his swords to protect himself from lethal strike.

Immediately, he brought out his Blush and fire a shots at an upcoming bullets that was coming from Yeoman who was charging frontally. Quickly, Yeoman swung and launch a downward spin kick that Adam back stepped. Following up, he swung his revolver sword in back hand motion that Adam was prepared for.

Only to fall for a feint as he was suddenly shot in the abdomen by his second revolver gun. Adam grunted and quickly stumbled back, only to be blocking a rotating aura charged Yeoman with his aura. Adam smirked, since this was going to give him a lot of aura. As he and Yeoman was blown away from each other, he slash his sword to the ground to send a large aura wave at Yeoman.

But almost instantly, the aura wave disappeared into smoke. Pryor was right in front of Yeoman with a grin. Adam glared at him, "He can absorb aura!?"

Pryor was about heal Gale with the absorbed aura but Adam lashed his Grimm hand out in tremendous speed. Pryor eyes widened, about to defend himself from the attack but Yeoman slash the arm off.

But the first one was a distraction as another one slammed against Anthony. He manage to block it but the impact still knocked him away.

Yeoman charged at Adam, only to be knocked away by a balled Grimm fist. Yeoman grunted, "that power..."

Metallic came back into the picture in his metal form, descending from the air. Adam noticed and dodged getting stomp by the metal man. Rising his hands, he slammed a double-axe handle, using his Grimm hands to increase his strength.

Metallic blocked the attack with both his forearms. The intense impact caused the ground below Metallic to burst and break down into a crater.

Adam laughed manically as he broke off those Grimm hands and created a new but with these being bigger and more razor sharp. "WHERE'S THAT BRAVADO NOW?" He yelled, as he relentlessly pounded his fist against Metallic who was desperately shielding himself from them.

His metal body was breaking as he couldn't get away from the onslaught. Luckily Anthony and Reiko intervene with Reiko using her vines to grab and hold back arms.

Anthony immediately trying to go for the kill, swinging a sword right at his neck. Adam, using the speed semblance, ducked his head under the blade, meanwhile turning and swinging Reiko right Metallic and Anthony. Metallic noticed and but didn't have time to react as he reverted back to his normal state, having Reiko slam right into him.

Anthony leapt over them and slash his blade at Adam again, he warded it off with just his wrist. The two went at it with each other with Adam being the dominator.

Pryor was still about to go heal Gale but Yeoman called out, "Forget him and heal me instead!"

Pryor was quite reluctant but did so anyway. Gale glared at him before his eyes locked back on the Adam.

Meanwhile

Salem, still possessing that little girl, watched from a distance. She noticed that the negative forces of Grimm were spreading across his body as he used it and from the way Adam was acting maniac, he was about to become a Talking Grimm. "Tch, he's losing his mind. Sooner or later, he'll be overcome by the Grimm. Well, it doesn't matter particularly. He'll still be my slave, weaker but more obedient."

"Pryor!" Anthony called out, skipping away from Adam while summoning three golems from the ground. As Adam lunged, he later found himself trapped under rock dome.

Pryor immediately placed his hands onto the rock dome, he started to slowly drain away Adam's aura. Adam punched a large hole within the dome but it only regenerated "Woo..." Pryor blew a sigh of relief. "You can't escape, the aura would be used to regenerat-"

Before he could finish, his head was suddenly decapitated off his shoulders with a fierce backhand. Yeoman and the others eyes as they tried to back away but the darkish figured didn't let up, impaling his hand through Anthony's abdomen, causing him to scream in pain. He then ripped his arm to left, basically splitting him in half.

"He's becoming a monster..." Yeoman said. "We need Glade."

Metallic tried to sneak in a sucker punch but Adam quickly counterattacked by grabbing him by the face and slamming him straight in the ground. Only to finish him off by crushing Metallic cranium with his foot.

Reiko finally recovered and used her tendrils as an attempt to halt him but quickly, he broke out of them. Reiko, scared, she backed away cowardly as Adam stared. "W-wait! Guahh!" She grunted as her body was rammed into a tree. The tree broken down as Reiko found herself, motionlessly on the tree stump as Adam pulled his now bloody horns out from her body.

He was his different, he was now a Grimm, body filled with insanity, negativity, and power. His eyes were completely a crimson and body was completely blackened and tense with some muscles, his head was shaped into bull, having his horns more exposed. Yeoman was already fleeing but Gale was still there, huffing and panting

He saw Adam, approaching slowly.

Gale cursed as he now had to face his enemy while still hurt by that attack from earlier. Adam halted, seeing that Gale was still opposing him, despite his condition and the situation, he still opposed him. "Well? I'm still here...? Gonna attack?" Gale taunted.

Adam still stayed right there as his mouth winched, trying to speak but Gale attacked, having a small blade shoot out of his wrist as an attempt to stab Adam but it only broke. Adam grabbed him by his cloak, only to impale him with his Wilt sword. Gale eyes bulged in pain as he coughed up blood.

As he pulled it out, Gale dropped motionless onto his back. Eyes completely dull. Surprisingly, he went to close Gale eyelids.

Unlike the other elites, Adam respected Gale's fighting prowess. "You have my respect, now rest in peace."

Yeoman, you are next.

Meanwhile was a small while, Ruby just awoken up from a small nap. She changed into her battle suit, thinking about joining her friends with whenever they're doing.

When she left the bedroom the only person was here was Karla, having a cigarette smoke. "Miss Willows? Where is everybody?"

"They left to speak to that weirdo, Leonardo." Karla stated.

Ruby thought nothing serious about it, thinking about joining them eventually. She glance at Karla, waving away the smoke, curious about Karla bitter thoughts for Leonardo. "Hey, if you don't mind me asking, why do you hate Professor Leonardo so much? I didn't think he expected for the Mistral hunters to get...killed like that." She says in a calming tone.

"Kid, do you really think that one Grimm attack could take down the entire Mistral force?"

Ruby shook her head, becoming more invested into Karla's accusation.

"When we went on our mission, me and other hunters came across the horde of Grimm. When we called for backup, we got no response. After investigating a little while, I later found out they were killed or disappeared." Karla stated.

That would make sense, Ruby thought. "Did you tell this to my uncle?"

"I did but that drunk bastard is in denial." Karla stated.

Suddenly, Ruby was startled by the sound of her phone ringing, picking it up, it was Nora. "Nora?"

"RUBY! We need you and Karla here quick!

"What? Where are you guys?!" Ruby exclaimed.

"We- argh!" She grunted painfully, having to drop her scroll, later to be booted off the call.

"What the hell happen?" Karla asked.

Ruby picked up her Crescent Rose. "My friends, they're in trouble!"

Karla huffed, remembering Qrow saying they were gonna meet up with Professor Lionheart at Haven. "I knew that fucker wasn't up to no good! Hold on kid, let me get my weapons."

Ruby and Karla later exited the dorm, only to find several dozen of White Fang soldiers outside, planting bombs. "The White Fang..." She muttered which was a big mistake since one of the twins, Corsac specifically heard her low voice, glancing over to her.

"Oh, well would you look at this. I thought the Mistral hunters were all dead." Corsac says with a smirk that made Karla visibly pissed.

Those Hunters were her friends, people she worked with for years and they were murdered in gruesome fashion. Ruby noticed, "Karla, calm down. These guys look tougher than your ordinary White Fang member."

"I remember me being the adult here." Karla says, causing Ruby to groan but stayed silent since she was right.

Fennec and the other White Fang started to draw their attention towards Ruby and Karla who were ready to throw down.

"Stay away from her!"

A voice said from above. Everybody looked to see it was Blake, leaping down from the night sky as she glared at the White Fang members.

Ruby eyes widened, smiling with excitement. "Blake!" She shouted.

Blake glance over to Ruby, smiling rather confidently. She then strike her attention back to Corsac and Fennec who were looking calmly displeased.

"Blake Belladonna... did you finally-

"Cut the small talk." Blake interrupted Corsac. "You either stop what you're doing and turn yourselves in or we fight." She says, giving them an ultimatum. She didn't see Keith nor Adam here which confused her, mainly because Ilia told her they were going to be here.

A nervous knot tied in her throat as she got some what of a bad feeling but she stayed vigilante.

Soon, the other Menagerie Faunus came, including Ghira and Sun. But suddenly, a voice was heard, "there they are!"

It was Justice, coming with Glade and an army of A.F.O. Glade stared narrowly at his enemies, surprised that they were the exact people Raven shown him.

Blake was bewildered. Ilia dropped down, tossing aside the wires of the bombs. "Isn't that the A.F.O...?" Blake asked. She was quite familiar with the A.F.O, having "small" exchanges with them during her time in the White Fang.

She never see them here on a large scale (mainly because they were a secretive organization) and didn't knew much about them besides them being enemies of the White Fang and Faunus. Hell, she didn't even know they were the cause of her brother's death.

"Yeah, they are the A.F.O." Ilia said.

Ghira scowled at them. He remembered the Anti Faunus Operation, they were the killers of Aarave but thanks to the media, they only treated it as conspiracies since they never found the killer. Suddenly Blake felt intensive glares within the Menagerie Faunus, glares that could kill. "Those are the same monsters that hanged my brother," a female Faunus says.

"These bastards are the reason why Mistral is a bad place for Faunus." A black haired Faunus added in.

"We should attack, end this once and for all."

Those words kept drilling into Ghira ears painfully. It reminded him during his time in the White Fang when it was more as a protest group. For too long, the Faunus had taken the backseat and die for Humans. Peace only lead to more death with no conclusion, it's time he avenge his son. "Corsac, Fennec. This is a truce for now, you help us deal with these scum of the Earth."

That's exactly what Fennec and Corsac wanted to hear as a smirk widened on their faces. Same for the elites that traveled with them. Sun ran over to Blake and Ilia, "This isn't going according to plan. What should we do?" Sun asked Blake.

"I guess...we fight." Blake answered, taking out her Gambrol Shroud.

Sun look a bit startled at how big this fight was going to be but it also brought excitement, thanks to his love for fighting.

"Attack." Ghira commanded.

That's where he, the White Fang and the Menagerie Faunus charged toward the A.F.O.

Ruby could only stare in awe and somewhat scared, Karla nudge her to shoulder while pointing her head over to Haven. "We're not far from your friends, let's go."

"Hey Blake! You'll be okay?" Ruby asked.

As Blake was easily knocking out common grunts, she yelled. "Yes!"

Karla and Ruby snuck over to Haven, only to find it locked. "Crap, they locked us out." Karla cursed, trying to barging in with her shoulder but it didn't budge.

Ruby was about to help until her helping Adam came to bite her. Two A.F.Os members tried to attack but Karla shadow grabbed and tied them both. "Keep trying to get in, I'll keep them off your back." She said, nonchalantly, knocking them out with her metal batons.

Ruby tilted her head, ramming her scythe against the door, not budging. "Tch." She backed up and started to use Petal Burst to gain momentum, actually budging the door, even causing it to creak and crack. "Miss Willows, come here."

"Wha-" before Karla could finish, she was interrupted by Ruby using her Petal Burst to combine her atoms with Karla. Later, they bursted straight into Haven.
