Hello everyone!

I'm a fracophone from Canada and I gave myself the challenge of trying to translate my fic which I'm writing since few months that you can find right here:

s/13774011/1/The-big-four-Le-tournoi-des-quatre-maisons

I'm not an expert in English, so it may not be perfect. Feel free to correct me, I'm learning. In any case I wish you a great reading 3

Notes from the author :

***The characters in this cross over belong to Harry Potter, The Five Legends, Dragon, Rebel and Rapunzel.

***The story takes place in the 1940s during the Second World War. I'm not an expert at all on that period and I hope I don't make too many historical mistakes. If you know something about it and you notice a problem, it's always a pleasure for me to take it into account and discuss it.

***For the sake of the fic, the geography and the historical-political context of Britain is not fully respected.

*** This is the very first story I have the guts to publish, so I hope you enjoy it and feel free to criticize if you feel like it.

Happy reading 3

Chapter 1 – Wand Thieves

"Amich, Hubert and Harris! Come back heere right away! Mom! They stole my wand. Damn it, guys, this ish so not funny! »

"Merida, a princess watches her language," Elinor tactfully replied as she watched the train depart for Hogwarts for the fourth time.

If she felt uncomfortable among all the wizards, some of whom were whispering in her path, she didn't let anything show. After all, Mrs. DunBrosh was a noble lady and would not let anyone see her from above. Merida, for her part, had a provocative look when her mother had once again pointed out in public that she was the Princess of the Highland Islands. She was expecting a mocking remark from a Slytherin at any moment with that kind of reflection. After all, she had been hearing it for three years already. Luckily, everyone was too focused to even hear the DunBrosh conversation. Merida took the opportunity to run after Amish who she had just seen with a strange wooden stick:

"AMISH DUNBROSH! Come back here right away! " Merida shouted as her mother, seeing that she was out of control, only sighed loudly.

Maud really hadn't chosen her day to be sick. Elinor thought that maybe she should have stayed home with the children and Merida could have gone with only her father. Unfortunately, she had been convinced by her daughter who told her that it was a wonderful idea to show them the train. This would give them a better understanding of where their older sister was going for the next few months, she said. Elinor now realized that this had been a bad idea and she thought her daughter was telling herself the same thing.

Amish turned around to provoke her older sister one last time before having to watch her disappear for several months. Especially since he and his two brothers had noticed how much Merida loved her little stick. He stuck out his tongue at her and ran into a big brown one. The redhead had just managed to narrowly avoid a clearly surprised Rapunzel accompanied by a stern-looking woman witch who was to be her mother. The person who had been hit by Amish turned around. He had a broad smile on his face. He had probably been interrupted while he was telling a very funny story. Jack raised his head and heard Merida's delicate voice urging anyone to stop that stupid little redhead. He looked down and lifted up the child, who for the first time hadn't had time to slip through the net. He recognized the wand, which formed small angles, of his friend, whom he had always found special, and burst out laughing. He was apparently meeting one of the famous DunBrosh triplets for the first time.

"Harris, no," Merida shouted as Jack felt a sharp pain in his shin.

Still with the child in his arms, the teenager stared at the replica on the floor who had just kicked him, while Merida held the third brother in her hand. She grabbed Harris with her other hand and commanded with her strong Highland Island accent:

"Amish, yee give me that bach, right now, or I'll warn you, I'll turn you into a worm. »

A little brunette with the same blue-green eyes as Jack pulled the kid out of the weakling:

"Jaaaaaack, who are they? "

The Slytherin took Merida's wand from Amish hands and placed it on the ground as the little monster struggled, and said:

"Emma, Mommy, this is my good friend Merida DunBrosh.

"The muggle born? " asked the little girl with big curious eyes.

"Honey, we don't say that", corrected Jack's mother, who approached the redhead.

Merida smiled, a little uncomfortable, as she let her brothers go, who were received shortly afterwards by their father, who had not followed the scene.

"Hello..." greeted the redhead before giving a glance at Jack "Yee give me bach my wand? »

Emma pulled Jack's T-shirt again and whispered, much too loud to be subtle:

"She's got a funny accent, your friend..."

Jack burst out laughing as he gave the wand to Merida and their mother looked up to the sky.

"Okay, Emma, that's enough now," the woman replied as Elinor joined the little troupe.

"Merida, if yee have everything, we're going to have to go. London ishn't safe at thee moment. »

Elinor glanced at a massive man who had apparently just lost one of the triplets, and Merida raised a circumspect eyebrow, visibly little surprised.

"Oh, Mom, let them see the train, they'll love it. »

"I'm afraid, my dear, that if we wait for thee train to leave, you'll have to look after your brothers at Hogwarts. »

Jack burst out laughing as he listened to the conversation and received a disapproving look from his mother after Elinor's eloquent gaze.

"Okay, okay... That's okay, I'll just go say bye to them..." Merida decided. "It was nice to meet you, Mrs. Overland. Jack, reserve a compartment for us on thee train. Kid ", she concluded, looking first at Jack's mother, then at Emma. "I saw Rapunzel over there if you want to tell her, I doubt her mother likes me to bother them... If you see Hiccup, tell him to meet me on thee train, I have something to show him. »

Merida put her wand in her pocket and ran towards the herd of redheads. Jack's mother turned to Elinor and said:

"You have a lovely girl. Jack has told me a lot about her at home. »

Elinor cast a surprised glance at the woman. Merida hadn't talked much about her friends at Hogwarts, even though Jack's first name was not unfamiliar to her. Jack sneered. He seemed to be a slight troublemaker from the lady's point of view.

"Mom, there's Rapunzel there and the train leaves in two minutes, I'll leave you to it. »

"Nooooo, Jack! I want to go with you! "Emma begged, holding him by the hand.

Rapunzel had managed to escape her mother's clutches and joined Jack, who was obviously a little worried about his surroundings. She seemed uncomfortable in this environment with too many people. After all, Jack knew that his mother kept telling her that the Muggle World was dangerous, and she had no choice but to walk through a station full of muggles and surely through streets that bore witness to the violence of the latest bombings, even though the station had been spared. Even before the blonde could say anything, Emma exclaimed:

"Are you Rapunzel?! »

The blonde gave a questioning look to Jack, who stared at his little sister with big eyes:

"My brother, he's in love with you! "she said as Jack put his hand in front of her mouth, blushing.

"Oh, uh," Rapunzel began uncomfortably.

"Emma, stop it, you're coming to Hogwarts next year. »

The little brunette broke away from her brother and crossed her arms on her chest. Elinor decided it was time to leave, capture her monsters and say goodbye to her daughter. Jack also took advantage of the discomfort to kiss his mother, weave his sister's hair and tell Rapunzel to follow him to the train. The blonde followed him without waiting. She still had time to hear Emma say to her mother:

" Could I have hair like her too, Mommy?"

Rapunzel smiled. She definitely thought Jack's sister was adorable.
