Warriors of Crouch End Chapter 2: An Announcement
Sleepstar: After eleven years, I have decided to declare this story a "Dead Fic". In other words, don't expect this story to be updated ever again. There are several reasons why I have decided to abandon the story. One was that it was very cringy and in the intervening eleven years my writing has improved by a significant margin. Second, I have lost interest in writing fanfiction as a whole and has been since 2017 when I started to focus more on my original stories. Finally, I have a backlog of fanfics I want to complete before I retire from Fanfiction writing in 2024, and with chapters of the Definitive Version of The Greatest Battle The World Will Never Know scheduled to be published elsewhere in 2022, as well as hoping to complete Stolen Elders, If Warrior Cats Had Twitter, One Hundred Drabbles of Hogwarts Students and Ten Things First Years Must Never Do At Hogwarts within that year. I have already planned a schedule for the stories, in that One Hundred Drabbles of Hogwarts Students will be updated every other day and the remaining three stories getting updated weekly; two of the three are close to completion. I hope to start on Team Hogwarts Vs The Perfect, 75 Years and The Vonheli Chronicles within the next year, and all three will get regular updates in 2023; all three will be Cross-Posted to DeviantART as well. I won't delete this story at the moment, but will keep it up as a reminder of how far I have progressed in my writing. I will target at least 1500-2000 words per chapter for the three long-term fanfics. Once all these long-term fanfics are complete, that will be it for my time on here. In 2024, it will be fifteen years since I had this account, and to be honest, it's getting a bit boring nowadays. I will delete the first version of The Greatest Battle The World Will Never Know from once I have completed the Definitive Version on DeviantART. I know this is a long author's note, but I want to explain fully why I decided to end Warriors of Crouch End now and not a lot earlier, well I want time to think things through before I decided to end the story. I know this decision wasn't easy, but at the end of the day, it was the better decision.
