Nora's body ached in the hospital bed as she woke up, the sunlight from the windows glaring in her eyes. She couldn't exactly piece together what had happened last night at the bar that had resulted in her massive beat down, although she remembered the women that beat her. She couldn't remember why she got beaten; as she knew she'd go off tangents when she was drunk, often saying things she didn't normally mean.

Though she didn't remember their motive, Nora facepalmed herself, humiliated that she had allowed herself that kind of vulnerability. She made herself look like..well Linnie… when she didn't fight back, and wished she had kept up with her weight lifting like she said she would when she got a job.

Speaking of Linnie, where was he? Was he too chicken shit to come check on his girlfriend? Pfft..he's probably off cheating with one of those stupid bikers. Oh wait..it was slowly starting to come clear to Nora now. She had made the mistake of taking Linnie with her (in an attempt to show him off to Arthur) and they all wanted a piece of Linnie's ass. She did remember them calling him "honey" like he's their sex slave or something. Hell, even Willow was looking at Linnie like he was some sort of stupid supermodel. Though usually not the type of pass out compliments like candy, Nora did have to admit that Linnie was beautiful. He was taller than most fairies but lankier, making him look somewhat thin (though his pregnant belly was filling him up some), and his lime, almost shoulder length green hair was pretty soft, and smelt like lavender whenever Nora got too close. He also had the most adorable puppy dog, green eyes whenever he spoke submissively to Nora. While she though Linnie himself was absolutely obnoxious and somewhat unworthy of her attention, he at least was pretty enough for her standards. It was as if all he had to do was bat his stupid, pretty little

Hell, he was so pretty that Nora almost couldn't blame the bikers and Linnie for cheating…almost. Not quite. She was still brewing in bed, tired of the disloyalty she had faced between both him and Arthur. It was almost as if she wasn't important enough to either one of them. Did Linnie really like Nora or was he just using her to get pregnant. He had mentioned that he had wanted children but never had the chance, so now that he's pregnant..when was he going to leave her?

Has he already done it? No, probably not. He was too fat to really teleport, not to mention the baby's weight was starting to get to him, now floating at a lower height. How typical. She was used to getting used by the people in her live, but it didn't stop it from hurting.

After a while of sulking, Linnie finally managed to arrive in Nora's room, with a small bouquet of red roses and a nervous smile on his face. It reminded Nora of what a person would look like if they were trying to cover something up. Nora scowled, clearly unimpressed by his late attendance.

"Where have you been? You didn't want to come see me? What's wrong with you?", Nora complained, causing Linnie to blush and frown, twitching a bit.

"I..well..I'm sorry Nora. I did want to see you earlier but I had some morning sickness again and um.."

"Oh morning sickness? Is that the excuse? Am I not that important to you anymore?", Nora barked.

"No! O-Of course you're important to me. I just got delayed, that's all! I'm sorry darling. I promise I'll be on time tomorrow.", Linnie said, kissing Nora on the cheek, "So..um..how are you feeling."

"Oh I'm fine. Fine. Just dealing with a broken heart that's all. Nothing important that you need to know."

"Broken heart? What do you mean?"

"Nothing! Nothing at all. Just figured my own boyfriend would be the last person to cheat on me, that's all. Nothing that you would be interested in."

"Cheat on you? What are you talking about? I never cheated on you!"

"Oh bullshit Linnie! I saw how those bikers talked and stared at you at the bar, and you smiled like you enjoyed the attention! You even have the damn audacity to flirt with my ex-husband's wife! What kind of sicko does that?"

"W-what? I'm sorry, I'm so confused right now. Are you on medication?"

"Yes but quit trying to change the subject! What makes you think you can cheat on someone like me? Don't' you realize how lucky you are?", Nora yelled, trying to force tears out of her eyes. Linnie squirmed around, looking for an escape, or at least a window to jump out of.

"Nora, honestly, I was just smiling when she wanted to talk about the baby. I-I was just trying to be nice. A-and those bikers weren't flirting with me. They didn't even know me!"

"Then why'd one of you call you honey? You're not their honey? Unless you took one of the home with you.."

"No! I would never! That's awful Nora!", Linnie shouted, now looking somewhat defensive, "Honestly, what's wrong with you? Why have you been getting so defensive lately and so rude? I-I just..look I'm sorry I'm snapping but..I don't deserve this Nora."

"Deserve what?"

"I don't' deserve this disrespect."

"Oh yeah? Then I don't deserve men who cheat on me, Linnie.", Nora scowled, though her tone had started to drop, "You don't understand what kind of catch I am. I am one of Fairy World Academy's hardest working employees and second in command only to Jorgen Von Strangle himself, so I easily make at least 4 times the amount of money you do. I'm in charge to changing the mindsets of our youth while you're sitting there changing the shit off people's diapers. I had been incredibly nice to you, Linnie, believe it or not. I didn't have to pay for you meal and drinks that night but I did, because I know you wouldn't be able to afford it!"

"Nora I-"

"You should be grateful I like you, Linnie. Actually, you and Arthur should have been grateful I ever came apart of your lives. I'm a catch! I'm financially stable! I have good health! I'm funny! And I'm a good person! None of which that describe you, Linnie Cosma. All you have going for you right now is the fact that you're pretty. Nothing else. Hell, I even got you the one thing you told me you were after; a fuckin baby. Does that not deserve your gratitude?"

"N-Nora I.."

"But you know what, sweetheart? That's ok. You're like a project to me. You're so busted up that you barely see your own flaws and how they affect other people. You know, if you'd just shut up and do what I ask of you, I can fix you. I can give you the life you want since it's clear you just want the luxuries in life. I can make our children wealthy as well. I don't ask for much Linnie, but if you're so desperately out of love with me, then you'd leave. I don't want to waste my money on somehow that doesn't give a shit about me, because it's clear that's what you've shown me at the bar."

"Nora please I..", Linnie tried to find the words to protest but failed miserably. No matter what he could possibly say or do, he knew Nora had the upper hand. She was going to twist his words around one way or another so finally, he sighed, "I'm sorry Nora. I love you. Only you. I promise what had happened was a mistake, and I'll make it up to you somehow."

"Yeah you better. Now come here.", Nora allowed Linnie to get close to her, kissing him of the lips for a good 5 minutes before separating, "Now look, I should be out of the hospital within the next few days. The doctors said my injuries weren't serious but they wanted to observe me for a little while. I expect you to clean the house and restock my beers while I'm gone. And on the day I come home, I expect a nice, warm cooked meal waiting for me in the kitchen. I'm thinking steak or lobster might be good..well you know what? Lobster. Yeah. You can make it up to me by making some lobster. Let's mix it up a bit."

"Y-Yes dear. Anything you want. J-Just name your price. I-I-I'm sorry for being ungrateful earlier."

"As you should be. Now get outta here. Visiting hours are almost over and I'd hate for them to kick you out.", Nora said, her angered look now faded, "I love you."

"I love you too Nora."
