Chapter: 3 this means war
The teams where match up for the first match by a coin flip, if you ask him it's not a logical way to choice. Aang's team was match up with the new guy's team and jet was matched up with Suki.
The first match was over before it even begin, poor Aang he didn't stand a chance, the new guy was good and not only that his sister was ruthless she throw ball after ball, the one in pink was good at dodging the balls, she was really flexible as for Mai, I don't know if people didn't see her or were scared to throw balls at her but in the end the team had only lost seven members from his team who were expected to sit out in the next round.
As for our match it was a tough one , suki was out for blood she became out number as most of her team members where knocked out but she still managed to take out four of our members before jet managed to hit her while she was trying to get more balls . We had lost a lot of our members.
The final match between JET and ZUKO was one thing many people where looking forward to, others thought Jet was going to win cause they knew how competitive he was and he never lost, on the other hand people were behind the new guy even though he won against a team that everyone knew was going to loss they still thought that he was a good player. Our team was out number by 10 or players but that didn't let anyone down cause they all thought the new guy won because anyone can win against Aang.
The team there places on the court , Jet called us over as he as if this was the last minute before the final buzz and he wanted to roar us up for the match .'' alright listen up , those lucky the won , they went up against a weak team, now they have to face us and we are not going to be easy , okay here's the game plan .katara I want you to be facing Mai she hates anything to do with sports so am sure she will let you hit her out . I just nodded my head.'' aright the big threat is that pony tail girl and the guys sister, if we take them out we can have a clean shot to him, his using them as a shield, they are his strong hold I want Rina you tail Azula careful with her I have a feeling she won't be easy to take down. Yuri and Hua you take Ty-lee, live the rest to me once his alone that's when we will take him out okay. We places us one on top of the other
''1, 2, 3 fighting' 'cheered sooner had the whistle been blown than three members of our team were already out. From the smirk on Azula and Ty-lee's face you could tell they were responsible. Jet was right they seemed to have formed a U kind of formation with Zuko in the middle inside the form. Ty-lee and Azula were on the frontline. As attackers .it was hard to get a clear shot at Zuko. The formation kept on changing but he was still in the center of it .I finally got site at an opening but I wondered if I should take the shot. My target was Mai, but I had a clear shot at Zuko so I made a judgment call and gathered up all the strength I had and throw the ball as hard as I could towards Zuko.
It happen so fast that if I had blinked I would have missed it .zuko turned at around at the spot and spotted me and the ball heading towards him .our eyes locked for a second and I felt my heart skip a beat. He dodged the ball and grabbed one of his own and throw it back at me with astonishing speed ,It made me freeze on the spot as the ball was heading towards me; I could hear Jet's voice telling me to move. My brain was telling my body to move, but it was not responding the ball hit me hard in my face. It felt like a hot iron was thrown in my face, I tried to stand up, and I didn't even know I had fallen down. As my eyes opened I saw black spots.
''katara are you okay ?, look at me do you need to go see the nurse ?'' the gym teacher kept on repeating the words to me but felt a bit dizzy but I didn't want to embarrass myself feather . I tried to get my mind to focus.''Yeah am alright I ….I...I just need water and to sit down I will be fine'' I said while waking on wobbly legs towards the benches. As I sat down the spots clear and looked out to the court. Jet was looking at zuko with a death glare .but it looked like the game was still on. I felt stupid going after Zuko like that. Maybe I should have just stack to the plan and gone after Mai .what was I thinking.
The game went on with each team putting there all in it. Jets team had lost a few more players, so did Zuko's. It looked like Mai was out also, Zuko's team was down to four players and it looked like he was in the frontline now. Without enough players to keep him the center, Shockley Jet had more players six of them. The game was really getting heated as Ty-lee was shot out by Rina and Jet shot her a fluty smile that I didn't miss but decided to ignore it. It came down to Zuko and Azula against three members of Jets.
Azula and zuko were holding up quite well with all the balls that jet and his team where throwing for some reason Zuko and Azula where on the defiance they just kept dodging the balls then attacking back which was surprising. I looked over at jets team, they looked frustrated. As more balls were thrown at the siblings.
What were they playing at? It then clicked jet kept on using his strength to attack in the process using all his balls since they weren't being returned he was running out of balls. I wanted to stand up and warn him but it looked like I was too late as I saw Azula pick up a ball and throw it to a dark haired girl in red she was hit square in the rib. And was out.
Now it was two against two. Zuko and Jet seemed to have a staring contest as they just stood there looking at each other but somehow they managed to dodge the balls that were thrown at them. ''ouch!'' the sound came from Rina everyone looked at her as the ball bounced of her face. She held her head as she swayed on her feet the gym teacher and jet were by her side in seconds, wonder why Jet didn't come to see if I was alright. They asked her a few questions and one of the girls took her out of the room guess she was hit harder than me.
The siblings just stood there as if nothing of interest was happening. Azula had a smirk on her face and zuko just looked plain out bored like he would rather be anywhere but here. as soon as the game started gain jet had no chance as balls were thrown at him at him one after the other, after he managed to dodge five of them two hit him one on his chest the other on his legs when he was about to jump, it looked like they siblings knew what he was going to do cause the hits where accurate.
as the final whistle blow Jet was already storming out of the gym I quickly got on my feet to follow him , I took a glance at the winners , if you can call them that , Azula had a crazy victory look on her face , anyone could tell she enjoyed winning and would cut down anyone in her way to win. Zuko on the other hand was moving away from the crowd with Mai on his tail. I took my eyes away from them and ran after jet I knew where to find him, he was sometimes a sow loser.
''hey, what you doing '' jet always went out on the football field whenever he was angrily or sad or happy which ever emotion he felt he would go to the football field. Took a seat next to him. And placed my head on his shoulder .
''I hate that guy ,just because his father is rich he thinks he owns everthing ''
I could see the hate and anger on jets face and it scared me , they ws more behind this ate it all cannt be about the game.
''jet..,whats going on?''I asked
''katara …i…i..''whatever jet wanted to say was serious couse he looked like he couldn't get the words out .'' my mother is in debt and she couldn't keep afloot , and that guys father forced her to sale ,now we have no choice but to answer to him .
''so your mothers business is now under the fire corporation, I guess that makes sense why u don't like him , but think about if yur mother was bankrupt than she was going t lose the whole business but now u get to keep it , isn't that a good thing.'' I knew it was not the same thing I knew how it felt like to lose everything and relay on someone else but jet had to look at the good side of the deal even if it basically meant that his mother was a puppet boss.

I knew when he needed his space I stood up and made my way back to school .at least tomorrow is a weekend and we can just relax and maybe talk about it more once his calmed down a bit .i gave him a kiss on the check and made my way to my next class.
