The door swung open to reveal Voltaire and Boris, both sporting evil smirks on their faces.

"Are you ready Kai?" Voltaire glared at me.

I shook my head. "I'm not going anywhere with you."

I held on tight to Ray, who in turn held me tighter; Boris approached us and grabbed me around the waist.

"Let go of him." He snarled to Ray.

"Never!" The Neko growled.

Tyson and Max held onto Ray to help pull me away from the purple-haired man. Boris kicked Ray in the knee, causing the raven-haired teen to lose his grip on me; I struggled in Boris' arms, elbowing him in the gut, he let go of me and I dashed over to Ray.

I checked him over. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I'll see you later yeah?" He whispered. "I love you."

I nodded. "I love you too."

I brought my lips to his, savouring every second I had.

Voltaire snorted in disgust. "Get those two dogs off each other!"

Once again, Boris wound his arms around my waist and picked me up; I didn't struggle this time, knowing that my teammates would be coming to get me. I kept eye contact with Ray the entire time until I was taken out of the room, smirking when I saw the keys on Boris' belt were missing. They brought me into another room, slammed me into a chair and tied my wrists and legs to it.

"Is this really necessary?" I spat.

My Grandfather laughed. "It is for what I have planned."

He took another chair and placed it in front of me, taking a seat.

"Now, I hope you have forgotten about this little 'fantasy' of yours." The old man wrinkled his nose.

I sent him a death glare. "It's not a 'fantasy'!"

"Whatever you want to call it, it's wrong and against the laws of nature. When I'm done with you, you'll wish you had never laid eyes on another boy." Voltaire smirked wickedly.

I snorted. "You're wrong, there's nothing wrong with being gay."

"Silence! I will not tolerate my Grandson being a homosexual!" He roared.

I shook my head. "All this because I like dick in my ass…" I muttered.

He must have heard that, because he struck his cane across my knees, causing me to flinch from the pain.

"Don't you dare disgrace our name like that again! This is more than that, you are the only one who can continue our bloodline." My Grandfather explained.

I grit my teeth in anger. "Is that all you care about? All my life I've tried to live up to this name, I've betrayed my friends in the search for power, and where did that get me? Nowhere."

"You are not worthy of this name, boy." Voltaire sneered.

"Fuck your name!" I hollered.

That earnt me a blow to the ribs with his cane, I doubled over in pain; what was taking the others so long?

"If you will not continue our lineage, then I will extract your seed and choose a suitable woman to produce me an heir." He threatened.

I blinked. "Will you leave me alone then?"

"Perhaps, if you survive the procedure; and if you do you'll never be able to have intercourse again!" Voltaire cackled.

I pressed my thighs together and gulped as my imagination went wild.

"Sorry, but that's not going to happen, I like my boyfriends cock the way it is!"

I whipped around to see Ray leaning on the doorframe, smirking.

Voltaire stood up. "How did he get out?! Boris, seize him!"

"Yes sir!" The purple-haired man advanced towards Ray.

The Neko wiggled his finger. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Boris."

"And why not?" The older man asked.

Ray chuckled. "Because, I'm pissed off and you're threatening my mate."

"Ha! Your mate? What are you, some sort of animal?" Boris laughed.

The Tiger nodded. "Half cat, actually!"

No sooner had he said that, Ray pounced on Boris, swinging punches at the older man's head.

"Get this thing off of me!" Boris screamed.

Tyson and Max suddenly dashed into room, just as Voltaire was about to call for back up.

"Oh no you don't!" Tyson went after him.

I struggled against my restraints. "Tyson don't!" I called.

Too late, Voltaire had swung his cane at the young teen, striking a blow to his head.

"TYSON!" I shouted.

Max, who was wearing my purple trousers, rushed over to me and quickly loosened my bonds; when I was free we rushed over to Tyson, who was slumped on the floor, blood dripping from a gash in his head.

Max shook him. "Tyson! Wake up!"

Heart hammering, I took the Dragons wrist into my hands and pressed my fingers against his vein.

"There's a pulse!" I breathed a sigh of relief. "Max, take him to Kenny and get out of here."

Max cast me a worried glance. "What about you and Ray?" He asked.

"We'll be fine, go!" I urged him.

I helped the blonde heave Tyson onto his back.

"Please be safe." He pleaded.

"Go!" I gently pushed him toward the door.

I took a quick glance at Ray, who was still giving Boris a hard time; then I was hit from behind by Voltaire's cane. I screamed as intense pain radiated from my ribs, falling to my knees I held my chest, struggling to breathe.

"If you think for one moment that I was going to allow you to leave, you have another thing coming!" Voltaire grabbed my hair and sneered into my ear, pressing a knife to my neck.

He turned his gaze to Ray. "If you value your boyfriends life, I suggest you let go of Boris!"

Ray immediately stopped what he was doing, glaring daggers at my Grandfather; Boris grabbed his wrists and held them behind his back, causing the Tiger to hiss in pain.

"You won't get away with this!" Ray threatened.

My Grandfather cackled. "Oh, but on the contrary, you don't have the proof, nor the money to even attempt to take me down."

I groaned as the pain in my ribs was making me go dizzy, watching helplessly as Boris tied Ray to the chair I just escaped from.

Voltaire pressed the knife closer to my neck. "Now Kai, my patience is wearing thin; will you join me?"

I shook my head. "Never."

The old man sneered, nodding a gesture to Boris, who nodded and turned to face Ray. He pulled back his fist, before swinging it into the Neko's face. I flinched as he grunted in pain, blood trickling out of his mouth, to which he spat at Boris. The purple-haired man growled and punched him again harder, leaving the young teen in a daze; he then began to throw punches wherever he could on Ray.

"Stop…" I croaked out.

They didn't hear me, I had to get them to stop hurting him.

"STOP!" I managed to yell.

Voltaire let go of my hair and raised his hand to signal Boris to seize his assault, before leaning closer to me. "Is there something you want to say?"

My eyes connected with Ray's, his amber orbs pleading me not to give in; the backs of my eyes began to sting and my throat tightened.

"A-Alright, you can have me." I choked on a sob. "Just let Ray go."

"Kai, no!" The Neko protested.

I let a tear fall. "I'm sorry, I have to do this."

His pupils slit and he snarled. "Don't you dare give up! The others will get us both out of here!"

"Quiet you!" Boris hit the teen round the back of the head.

Voltaire released me from his grip. "Well isn't this lovely? My Grandson wants to come back to me."

Before he could continue, a guard burst into the room. "I'm sorry to bother you sir, but we're experiencing some issues with Black Dranzer." He panted.

The old man sighed deeply. "Alright, I'm coming." He turned to Boris. "See if you can find the other brats."

"Yes sir, shall I restrain Kai first?" The purple-haired man asked.

Voltaire glanced at me and shook his head. "That won't be necessary, he's not going anywhere."

They both took one last look at us before leaving the room, locking the door behind them.

Ray snapped his head around to me. "Kai, get out of here whilst you can!" He urged.

I shook my head. "Even if I could, I wouldn't leave you. Besides, the only way you can leave is if I stay."

"No! I won't have it, we are getting out of here together!" He glared at me. "If you even think for one moment that I'm leaving without you, you have another thing coming."

Despite the pain, I couldn't help but smirk at him; holding my ribs I shakily got to my feet and limped over to my partner, loosening his bonds.

"Come here you." Ray pulled me into a hug as soon as he was free.

I hissed as a searing pain made its way through my chest, causing him to jump and look at me with worry.

"Shit are you okay?" He asked, checking me over.

I nodded. "Don't worry about me, what about you?"

"I'm okay, just a few cuts and bruises." He replied, then smirked at me, "So, what's the plan this time?"

Ray bent down on one knee with his back facing me. "I can hear them coming, get on."

"Do I have to?" I did my best to glare at him.

He rolled his eyes. "Fuck your pride, you're hurt and we can't do this if you can't keep up!"

Feeling put in my place, I let go of my chest and wrapped my arms around Ray's shoulders, wincing as pain seared through my ribs. The younger teen hooked his arms under my knees and hoisted me onto his back, being careful not to jolt me too hard; he carried me to the door and pressed against the wall, waiting for Voltaire and Boris to enter the room.

"No sign of the others sir, they must have left the building." Boris' muffled voice sounded.

The door handle turned. "Not to worry, they can't touch us." My Grandfather opened the door, which hid us from their view.

"What?! Where are they?!" Boris ran to the chair Ray had been tied to.

Voltaire came up behind him. "They can't have left the room!"

"Hold on." Ray whispered to me, before leaping around the door and dashing out of the room.

I had kept my eye on the pair in the room. "I think he saw us." I murmured.

"They can't catch me." Ray chuckled, accelerating through the corridors. "Which way?"

"Left." I instructed, glad I knew this place like the back of my hand.

The Tiger turned left and raced towards a flight of stairs, I closed my eyes and braced myself for the bumpy ride; to my surprise it wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. I glanced down and saw that Ray was practically leaping up the stairs, three or four steps at a time.

"I don't even want to know how you're doing that." I tightened my grip on him slightly.

He laughed. "Perks of being a Neko-jin, dear."

We reached the top of the stairs and entered a large hall.

"Over there, the large oak doors." I pointed.

Ray re-adjusted me on his back, before jogging to the doors and opening one of them, checking around the corner first; I heard a gunshot and Ray snapped his head back in the nick of time.

My eyes widened, then narrowed "Filthy bastards using guns…" I growled.

"Is there anywhere else we can go?" The raven-haired teen glanced back at me.

I shook my head. "We're on the ground floor, most of the windows and doors are locked to prevent thieves getting in."

"What about the first floor?" He asked.

I frowned. "Well, I suppose, but how do you expect to get out of here that way?"

Ray didn't answer me, instead he took off towards the stairs again; leaping up to the first floor.

"There! Going up the stairs!" I heard Boris shout.

I looked behind me to see him and a few guards running after us. "Faster, Ray." I urged.

He picked up the pace, reaching the top of the stairs and flying down the corridor, rooms and objects whizzing past us in a blur. I could see that Ray was on the look out for an escape route, his pupils slit and his fangs showing, everything about him screamed determination. A gunshot sounded and a bullet hurtled past my ear, taking a few strands of my hair with it; my head snapped round and I could see Boris brandishing a gun at us.

"Stop! Or next time I won't miss!" He roared.

Ray turned a corner so tightly I nearly fell off his back, I gripped his shirt and buried my face in his hair, silently hoping he had a plan. The Neko came screaming to a halt, I lifted my head to see him staring at an open window, large enough for us to fit through.

"Ray, what are you thinking?" I asked, unsure of his motives.

Footsteps behind me alerted us that Boris and his men had caught up, he pulled out his phone and dialled a number.

"We have them cornered sir; first floor, east wing." He hung up the phone, looking directly at Ray. "Put the boy down, and you can leave."

The raven-haired teen shook his head. "Not a chance."

I heard sirens in the distance; the others must have called the police! Ray continued his glaring contest with Boris, neither one of them backing down, then the older man lifted his gun.

"I will not hesitate to shoot you, so I ask again. Put, the boy, down!" He snarled.

My heart started to race, the sirens were getting closer, Boris' finger hovered over the trigger, his muscles eager to pull it. Behind them, Voltaire appeared, a smirk adorning his face.

"It's over Kai." My Grandfather crossed his arms triumphantly.

Ray hissed. "Over my dead body is it!"

"If that's your wish, so be it." Boris laughed.

Time slowed down as Ray turned on his heel and jumped up onto the windowsill, before leaping out into the air; I heard a click as Boris pulled the trigger, his gun emitting a bang as the bullet left the barrel, hurling towards us. As we fell towards the ground, my back began to burn like someone had pressed a branding iron against it, but there was no pain.

"Ray! Kai!" I could hear Max scream.

The earth below was quickly approaching us, my vision was beginning to blur and I struggled to focus on anything. The last thing I remember was Ray landing on the ground with a sickening crunch, then I fell into darkness.
