This chapter contains a few swear words!!

Alice and Fabrizio had carried rose into the front room and laid her on the couch. Joseline put a wet rag on her mother's head. "How could this happen?" Joseline asked herself as she sat in the floor next to the couch and placed Rose's hand in hers. She wasn't paying attention to anyone else in the room, all of her attention was on her mother. She looked down at their hands and rubbed them with her other hand. "Mom I'm so sorry." She cried. "Please wake up."

Alice, who hand been standing in the door way with her arms folded, watching the two, cleared her throat as she walked over and placed a hand on Joseline's shoulder. "Rose... I mean your mother, will be okay." She whispered.

Joseline looked up at her "I know, but this is too much. I want her to wake up so we can go home." She began to sob. "My mom is all I have." She wiped at the tears on her face. "My mom didn't think Jack.. I.. I mean my father.. had anymore family left. It has just been us for the most part, all these years." Her sobs becoming harder. "I don't think she can handle this."

Alice sat down beside her and placed an arm around her shoulder. "Sweety, your mom will be ok I promise." She hoped she was right. Though she had witnessed people blacking out, she had never witnessed anyone blackout after receiving such earth shattering news.

Rose opened her eyes and pulled the rag from her head. She groaned and sat up "Uhh..." She began. "Where am I and what's going on?.." she asked.

Joseline squeezed her hand and looked to Alice for help.

"You're in the front room." She said. "You blacked out in the dining room.." She said. "Do you remember why?" She asked, eying Rose, her eyes full of concern.

Rose rubbed her head trying to remember. "Damnit!" She said. She closed her eyes and it all came flooding back to her. She tried to fight back the tears that were forming, but they came anyways. "Fabrizio.." she cried. "Where is he?.." she asked. "Was it all just a cruel dream?" She asked through sobs. "And... You.. YOU are Jack's sister?..." She pointed a finger at her. "He.. Jack.. He's dead!... Did you know that?.." She asked as her body began to shake. "He froze to death in the North Atlantic... I remember it like it was yesterday!" She screamed. "He froze to death just so I could live..." She cried out, her body shaking with each sob. "I'm so sorry..."

Joseline was listening trying to make sense of everything her mom just said. She sat down on the couch beside her and wrapped her up in a hug. "Mom, it wasn't your fault!" She said sternly. "It wasn't your fault.."

Alice was now backed up against the wall sliding down it, feeling as though she had been hit with a ton of bricks, wiping the tears from her own eyes. "I..I.. can't believe this.." she said. "Fabrizio! She yelled. He didn't answer. "I.. I.. well.. I.." she started, but trailed off. Her mind wandering.

"Jack! Where have you been?" She asked as she wrapped him in a hug.

Jack didn't respond right away. Instead he sat on the far end of the couch staring at nothing. He looked rather sad. His skin was pale and his clothes, they were worn. "Rose!...Rose..."

"What.. who is Rose?.." Alice asked.

"Titanic..."

Alice's eyes grew wide with curiosity. "The ship that sank a few weeks ago?... What? I'm not understanding, Jack .. What happened?!" She asked, her tone demanding.

Alice managed to pull herself back to her feet as she came back to reality. She slowly walked over to the couch and sat the other side of Rose. She placed a hand over Rose's. "I think I should tell you something... Something that is probably going to shock you..." She began. "My brother... My Jack..." she looked down at the floor, not wanting to see Rose's face. She was afraid of what she might see. She wasn't sure if she could deal with the look in her eyes. The sound of her crying had ripped her heart out. She had never felt so hurt for someone, especially someone she didn't know. "Jack.. well.. he... He isn't dead..." She whispered.

Rose stood up with a quickness and grabbed Joseline by the hand. "We need to go, NOW!" She yelled. "This girl is crazy!..." She whispered. "Jack is dead! I saw him... He froze to death! ..I.. I.. I let his body go in the North Atlantic..." She screamed as she backed towards the door. "Don't you dare come any fucking closer!" Rose spat. She moved her hand to grip Joseline's arm.

Joseline was scared now. She was trying to escape Rose's grasp, which only seemed to get tighter. "Mom, you're scaring me, please stop... My arm it hurts.. please mom .." she pleaded. "STOP IT!" She screamed up at her mother.

There was something in Rose's eyes that she had never seen before. "You.. we.. have to get out of here now!" Rose screamed down at the girl. "Can't you see, Joseline, this girl... She is crazy... Your dad is dead.. it's my fault." She cried. "It's all my fault... But her... Oh her... She is crazy you see!.."

Joseline jerked and jerked her arm until Rose finally let go. She ran back over to where Alice was and hugged up to her "There is something wrong with her... This... This isn't normal.." she sobbed. "Please help her.!" She begged.

Alice pulled the girl closer to her and together they ran through the door, out the front door and to Alice's house, which was only a few houses down. "Fabrizio... Jack .. someone..." She yelled as loud as she could. Jack came flying in the backdoor and ran towards the sound.

"What is Alice??.." he asked with fear all over his face and in his eyes.

"It's my mom.." Joseline said.

Jack peered around Alice to see the girl. "Where is your mom? What's wrong?"

Alice couldn't contain her fear nor her tears anymore. "Jack .. it's Rose... She flipped when I told her you were alive... She is at the bb.."

"NOT FUCKING WAY?" He said in pure shock "Let's go now..."

With that the three of them ran back to where Rose was. Rose was in for the shock of her life.
