Chapter 8 – Awakening
Alright new chapter is up. This chapter is one I've personally been waiting to put out for a long while. And I promise it's going to be good. Any who without further ado let's go, I don't like extending these too much.
Disclaimer: Every time I realize I don't own Naruto, a piece of me breaks.
Transitions and flashbacks are in italics.
Tailed beast speech is in bold.
'Thoughts are in single quotations.'
In the prison, on level one…
"Hey, did you feel that earlier?"
"Oh, you mean the earthquake?"
Two ninja from Iwagakure stood idly at a massive gate with a pair of giant silver ring latches for handles. It was made out an igneous rock, likely obsidian by its dark colour. The room they stood in was very spacious, its floor made from cobblestone and the walls from a dark coloured metal. From the ceiling hung a large chandelier, which composed primarily of glowing blue bulbs strung together by a net. It cast an eerie glow about the area, creating interesting shadows. However, for anyone in the room, they might wonder what its purpose was. This room served as a junction to every cell on the first floor, with the number of doors that lined the walls, it had to be at ten at most. The reason there were so few cells was that the first level was dedicated to only the most important prisoners that Iwagakure held. Each cell only held one so there were only ten prisoners at best. That however, is not the focus of this room. The room served as a control centre for the entire floor.
You see, every prisoner that was on this floor was a potential liability to Iwagakure. So it made sense to have a central point to cut off those liabilities. The room itself was seemingly barren, but it had a seal array beneath it. Should it be activated, a number of defensive formations would rise out of the ground. This, accompanied with the force of around one hundred and eighty ninja that regularly guarded this floor, made breaking out an intimidating prospect for most. But not for Naruto. He stood near an entrance to his cell, listening in on the conversation they were having. Although he was all the way across the room, it held a natural echo so their voices reached him nonetheless.
"Yeah that, what was it about? It wasn't natural was it?"
"I don't think so. I didn't get much information on what's going on but from what I could get, I think something happened on level two."
"You gotta be kidding me. Someone caused that?"
"I don't know okay? All I do know is that they took a bunch of our forces from down here to focus on the issue. So we should be on our guard you know."
Naruto's brow furrowed.
'So that's why there weren't any guards near my cell…'
He glanced downward at his apparel. His sandals were in good condition, and his pants were only a little ragged. His jacket on the other hand had a ton of tears in it, probably from when the Iwa ninja overwhelmed him at the outpost. His shirt was actually torn from the middle, probably so they could access his seal easily. So really he was wearing a cropped shirt. He would ignore that fact for now to focus on the actually important things to him. His headband was still intact, as far as he was aware, but he lacked his ninja pouch and shuriken holster. So he was fully unarmed and unable to do anything about it. At the very least though, he could still use his chakra.
'I could try to rush them, but they'll probably stop me halfway…'
Since when did that matter to you?
Naruto huffed quietly as the Kyubi spoke. It refused to let Naruto be, despite Naruto wanting to handle things on his own.
'Since I decided to do what I gotta do to get out of here! Now, if you'll excuse me.'
He made a ram hand sign and summoned chakra, suddenly appearing as a generic middle aged Iwa ninja.
Kit, are you sure you want to do that?
'I don't care if you think it's a bad idea, I'm the ninja here! I know what I'm doing!'
He already decided on his course of action. To hell with what Kyubi thought, he could function on his own. Since when did he need a fox telling him what to do? He'd been fine his whole life, he'd be fine now. Of course these were the thoughts that were racing through Naruto's mind as he walked towards the ninja. One of the aforementioned ninja glanced at him.
"Ah, where are you coming from?"
Naruto, still disguised as an Iwa ninja, pointed a thumb backwards. The ninja, watching over Naruto's shoulder, shrugged nonchalantly.
"Okay, give me a second to contact the relay, they're the only guys who can open this gate."
Naruto nearly sweat dropped at that.
'If I charged in, I might've never gotten out of here. You see that Kyubi, I made the right call!'
Kyubi remained quiet and so Naruto treated it as his win. The ninja who spoke to him had turned around, walking to a small speaker on the wall near the gate. He began speaking into it. The other who had simply been watching him with a rather bored expression, motioned for him to follow. As Naruto walked up to him, the Kyubi spoke.
Well, if you really intend to make it out of here like this, let me offer you some advice at the very least.
Naruto smirked internally as the ninja who was guiding him reached up for the large door latches.
'I'm home free-'
In that moment the ninja grinned at him. Naruto paused wondering what he why he stopped before a foot suddenly connected with his cheek.
"Chk!"
The kick was extremely powerful, enough that he was launched over ten metres. As he rolled to a stop, his danger senses kicked off, and pushing himself away he narrowly avoided an axe kick that would have for certain broken something. Getting up onto his feet unsteadily, he watched cautiously as the two ninja stood idly, as if they hadn't just tried to kill him. The one that kicked him spoke.
"So it was the jinchuriki huh?"
Naruto gritted his teeth as he realized his transformation had dropped. He was greatly confused though, how did they see through his transformation anyways? At that thought, the other who had guided him, and he still stood by the gate relaxing, spoke.
"Nice try, it was even a good transformation. But the chakra you give off is way too obvious."
Naruto's eyes widened then.
"Sensory type…"
"You got a good head on you there. But you're already losing it if you think you're getting out of here."
Naruto growled as the ninja in front of him cracked his knuckles. His partner chuckled.
"You're gonna handle the kid by yourself?"
"He's underestimating me of he thinks he's actually coming out of this unscathed. I don't know how you got out brat, but it's a safe bet that you're not going back in!"
The ninja suddenly bolted forward at a speed Naruto couldn't track. As his eyes widened, he couldn't react as the ninja's fist connected with his skull.
"Urk!"
He wasn't sent flying this time, instead his vision suddenly distorted. Equilibrium ceased to exist for Naruto as he struggled to remain on his feet.
"One hit and he's already done in? That's pathetic!"
Naruto once again gritted his teeth. He tried to throw a right punch but the ninja slapped his hand away.
"Sloppy form, poor execution and you can't even see straight. This is the time where you're supposed to run, except you can't."
At that, the ninja kneed Naruto, his jaw snapping shut painfully. He roughly grabbed his blond hair before kneeing him once again, fracturing his nose and causing blood to flow freely from it. As Naruto recoiled, his eyes shut from the pain, the ninja lashed out a lightning fast side kick, knocking the air out of his lungs. Naruto was sent skidding across the floor before he slammed into the wall. He struggled to breathe, the desperate gasps for air and the occasional coughing doing little to solve his problem. The ninja walked up to him.
"So instead of running, why don't you just die?"
His partner quickly called out.
"Hey, don't kill the gaki! Just chuck him back in his cell."
The ninja seemed to take this into consideration as he stood there pondering whether or not he should just kill Naruto.
"But I really want to kill him…"
"Don't, it's not worth the trouble."
"Really? This kid is troublesome enough to get out of his cell, ain't this too much trouble already?"
As the two ninja got into an argument about whether or not it was worth killing a prisoner, Naruto tried to get up, but his hands gave out. As he laid on the ground he had but one thought in his mind.
'What the hell was that…'
I could have warned you, you know.
'Don't act like a know-it-all dammit!'
Kit, I am a know-it-all. I've been alive long enough to have earned that ability.
'…Okay fine, prove it. How could you have possibly warned me?'
Those ninja over there are clearly jonin, and given the fact that they weren't suspicious of you at all when you went to greet them, they were obviously hiding their true intentions. Something you could have sensed if you relied on the ability I granted you.
Naruto grunted as he tried again to get up, failing once more.
'Okay so they're jonin, my disguise was only seen through cause of chakra though.'
Not even close, they were being kind then. Frankly even a genin might have seen through that.
'What the hell do you know? You're not a ninja!'
But I've been sealed inside three over the past decades.
'Three?'
What? Don't tell me you thought you were my only jinchuriki?
'I-I didn't!'
Sure. There have been two others before you, both Uzumaki.
'Uzumaki?! Wait, don't tell me there's something actually cool about my last name!'
Well your clan was renowned for being sealing experts. Of course you don't hold that talent.
'Ugh, so I don't have some cool secret ability?'
Nope. Unless you count the vitality thing I guess…
'What vitality thing?'
You're awfully curious all of a sudden.
'Of course I am! C'mon I wanna know more about my clan!'
Kyubi weighed the pros and cons of telling Naruto about his clan's strength before deciding, to hell with it. He was already on the fast track to the afterlife, there was no room for regrets.
I suppose I can educate you a little. You're aware of what chakra is made up of right?
'Uh, sorta?'
Sorta won't cut it. Chakra is made up of two parts. You ningen refer to them as mental and physical energy.
'Aw man, I didn't sign up for this class Kyubi!'
Do you want to hear about your clan or not?
'Fine, fine, get on with it.'
For our purposes I'm going to swap those terms. Instead of physical energy, call it Yang energy and instead of mental energy call it Yin. You can think of Yang as a light colour and Yin as a dark one.
'Okay so, what does that have to-'
I'm getting to it. Whenever you use chakra, you're employing a certain ratio of Yin to Yang within it. For example, when you used the Henge no Jutsu, you used it in the ratio two is to one. Just think of it as you used twice as much Yin energy as Yang.
Naruto nodded in understanding. He glanced upwards to see the two ninja still arguing about their point. Probably because he was still out of it. He'd take advantage of it later, for now he really wanted to hear what Kyubi had to say, for once.
The ratio differs for different Jutsu, depending on the type. Elemental techniques usually have an equal amount of Yin and Yang to encourage elemental traits to show up in chakra. Genjutsu has a very heavy Yin to Yang ratio, the more Yin used in fact, the greater the quality of the illusion. On the reverse, Taijutsu usually has a very low Yin to Yang ratio, with Yang dominating to promote physical performance. Fun fact, remember the Bijudama?"
'Yeah?'
It's almost purely Yang energy, with a touch of Yin for form.
Naruto suddenly got a puzzled look on his face.
'Touch of Yin for form… wait, so Yin and Yang have different effects on jutsu?'
Now you're getting it. Yin promotes form and shape while Yang promotes power and life.
'Wait, so then… the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, it has its own balance right?'
Yes, I believe whenever you use it it's about a ten to one ratio. It's heavy on Yin.
'Yin… it's related to shadows then?'
I guess you could say that.
'So then, this has to do with an ability my clan has?'
I just wanted to make sure you understood what I was talking about. To explain it, you have to know this. Your clan, the Uzumaki, holds a relation to the Senju clan, the clan of the Shodai Hokage.
'Woah…'
But that's not the point. The Senju, or more specifically the Shodai, was known for the powerful quality of their chakra. You see, normally chakra is held in a balanced ratio until moulding is required, then you change its shape and power by altering the ratios of Yin and Yang. But the Senju clan was known for their powerful chakras because the balance of their chakra was naturally aligned to Yang. Some had greater Yang to Yin imbalances, others had less. But the Shodai, his imbalance was so great that it affected his body itself.
'And what did that do?'
It gave him a healing factor for one. Incredible strength as a second. And thirdly, the ability to use Mokuton, the Kekkai Genkai he used.
'So… he had a cool ability because his chakra was off?'
Hah, you make it sound like it's a bad thing.
'Well it's just, if it's imbalanced then wouldn't it be hard to use stuff like Genjutsu?'
That's not how it works actually. However, explaining that would take all day, so I'll get to my point at last. The Uzumaki were said to have an ability that was similar. They held great amounts of vitality, enough that it changed even how their chakra worked. They didn't have an imbalance, instead it was more like they could promote it much easier. It's apparently something that can be done instinctually, but it also has to be something you're aware of.
'I don't get it, you're saying that they can become like the Senju guys?'
No, the Senju naturally had imbalanced chakra. What your clan did was that they could make their chakra gain that sort of imbalance through their blood itself. It's like a Kekkai Genkai but far less applicable to combat.
'I don't really understand it, but I think I get parts. So basically, they can mess around with their chakra right?'
Somewhat, yes. The thing is, when they do this it adds onto their chakra, so they actually gain more chakra from doing this.
'Gain more? I don't need more chakra though, according to Sandaime-jiji and Kakashi-sensei I have tons…'
Hmph, I was hoping you'd come to the conclusion yourself but-
'Wait a sec! What if, like, I'm already using the ability and that's why I have tons of chakra to spare?'
Hit the nail on the head. That's exactly why you have tons of chakra.
'Huh!? For real?! But I don't remember learning how to use any ability like that!'
Of course you wouldn't, it's because you were a baby at the time.
'I was a baby… oh. Ohhhh! I get it! So because you were sealed inside me when I was a baby I could use the ability immediately?'
It's the fate of all Uzumaki who bear Biju, well rather, me. Apparently, the strain of holding me is far too much for any ordinary shinobi to attempt, save a few. The Uzumaki are uniquely qualified for it as upon my sealing your ability to add onto your chakra with sheer vitality alone is awakened to increase your own reserves to the point where it's possible to hold me.
'I didn't understand most of that but what you're saying is, I already know how to use it right?'
I suppose yes. The only problem with that is that it would require you to actually remember the event where you awakened it. The Uzumaki who normally awakened this ability used it passively to increase their Yin energies, this and their genes are what make them experts with seals.
'That's cool… my clan sounds awesome. But, something happened to them, right?'
Yeah, they were destroyed during the Second Great Ninja War. As far as I'm aware their homeland still stands, although it is in ruins.
'Oh…'
Well, you learnt about your ability, are you satisfied?
'…'
Kit?
'…Show me it.'
What are you talking about?
'You can do it right? You can show it to me.'
Show you what?
'The day I was born.'
…Are you sure you want to see that?
'If you think I'm going to hate you for something you did then-'
It's not me I'm worried about. It's you.
'…Whatever I see, I can handle it. I have to see it.'
You wish to awaken your ability again. But how would that benefit you now?
'I don't know… but at the very least I gotta know what happened then.'
Well alright, the link we have is being supressed so the most I can do is send you a chakra imprint of the event.
'What does that mean?'
Whatever you see, you're going to watch all of it. And you're going to remember it for as long as you live.
On the second floor…
"That's five of them now."
Sasuke found his current situation uncomfortable yet… enjoyable. His arrival on the second floor had brought him surprise after constant surprise. From the nasty dog summons that Iwa used to the literal steel turrets used for riot control, and even the prisoners they paid to try to kill you, Iwa's second floor was a nightmare. And Sakura had been with him the entire time, without being bothered in the slightest. The worst part of it was, he liked that about the situation. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about running from every obstacle in his path, but for some reason as long as she was there it was almost… fun. Fun. Sasuke did not have fun. Yet, it was the only way he could describe it. Now they were hiding behind a rock taking fire from another turret. Well they were until it blew up courtesy of Sakura.
Somehow she seemed to know how they were going to play their hand. Every card they used, she had a counter for it. The dogs? Screw up their scents. The turrets? Blow them up. The prisoners? Play them. That last one was really interesting to watch. He could only describe her combat sense as omniscient. She even managed to secure several keys, which helped free prisoners that were currently increasing the chaos in the second and third floor. Honestly, he was enraptured. He wouldn't say it out loud, but he was. This was beyond impressive to him.
"Sasuke did you hear what I said?"
Sasuke blinked as he realized he'd been staring at her. Sometime during their escapades he'd managed to secure a clean set of Iwa commissioned clothing for her. Well they were meant for someone larger than her so the pants didn't fit. The jacket did though, so she now wore that much. It was very bulky however, so it hung down to her mid thighs covering her up enough he supposed. He'd really prefer it if she got pants though, he'd never felt so nervous about that sort of thing until now. Anyway, she gazed oddly at him.
"Are you okay Sasuke?"
"I-I'm fine."
Sasuke realized he stammered and his embarrassment got worse.
"Are you sure, you look like you're heating up."
She pressed her palm against his forehead, parting his bangs that had developed from days of not taking care of his hair. That she did it so in such a clueless manner, with that ever calm face of hers, amidst all the violence going on about them, Sasuke really didn't know how to cope with that. His face turned fully red and Sakura gasped, although more out of just doing the action as she didn't show any facial change.
"It got worse…"
"Let's just get a move on."
Sakura nodded.
"I recall that the structure of this level shows there's a relay station near the back end of the cavern."
Sasuke blinked.
"When did you have time to find that out?"
"There was a map we passed after the third crew of Iwa ninja found us. I memorized it."
Sasuke knew what map she was talking about. He remembered because he had attempted to scan it with his Sharingan but didn't have the time to do so as the enemies were too focused on them. That she had time to memorize that map meant she'd have to have done it with a glance.
"Sakura, you have photographic memory?"
She nodded quickly.
"Yes. Anyways, we should probably make our way up to the top of the cavern if we want to gain the advantage in the situation down here."
She made to leave the cover of the structure when Sasuke suddenly grabbed her arm. She turned around, curious as to why he had stopped her as there hadn't been any apparent danger.
"Sakura, what happened to you?"
Sasuke asked this while looking down. He didn't know how else to phrase his question. So he placed it as bluntly as possible, something he'd normally do for sure but for some reason had trouble doing then.
"…I changed."
Sasuke looked up and found himself surprised as Sakura actually had an expression on her face. It was an extremely small frown that he found himself intrigued with. And weirdly worried, but he couldn't say why. She continued.
"It's so much easier to think than it was before. I can come to conclusions way quicker, make split second decisions based on accumulated info. I can be as ruthless and uncaring as I want and not spare a second thought to it now. Isn't it a good thing? I guess not, because it's maddening."
"Maddening?"
"I feel, like I'm going crazy. Like my head is going to split at any second and suddenly I'm fine again. And it happens again and again until suddenly all I know is that pain. Then it vanishes and I'm fine, yet in truth it's still there. In the background like a phantom."
"That… is very strange."
He was at a loss for words. How would he put it, what she said made little to no sense but at the same time could very well explain everything.
"It's so damn hard to actually express emotion too. It's like I'm involuntarily supressing them, but instead of building up they just get swallowed up into a pit. Even now, I'm already calming down."
Sasuke was becoming increasingly worried. Whatever was going on with Sakura, it was affecting her mental health on an extreme level. Her frown had already disappeared, replaced by that calm façade he had experienced so far.
"Anyways, instead of wasting time here, we should actually make our way up. We can… talk about my condition later."
Sasuke stared at her for a moment before Sakura cocked her head.
"Another fever?"
"N-No you're right let's get going."
On the first floor…
The Iwa ninja sighed in frustration as his partner finally hit home on his point.
"…and that's why if you kill him, your entire life is screwed."
"I get it already! Can we just, stop?"
"I don't know man, might have to repeat it again. Gotta make sure my argument sticks-"
"No. I'm good I understand."
The Iwa ninja turned about to finally get around to apprehending Naruto. As a jinchuriki, the ninja had expected more out of him. His strength however, had proven to be below that of a genin to him, hell he shouldn't even be a ninja with skills like that. Sighing to himself, he glanced at Naruto, who was lying on the ground. He appeared unconscious.
"Aw man! He fell asleep!?"
"Hah! Now you have to carry him!"
The ninja growled before making to pick up Naruto. However, moments before he was about to touch him, he felt Naruto's chakra system act up. He immediately backed up. His partner called out to him.
"Something wrong?"
"Does it look like something's wrong?"
"I don't know, that's why I'm asking."
The bastard annoyed him so much sometimes. He decided to ignore his provocations and focus on Naruto. He was definitely awake now. Those blue eyes were staring into his with a sort of intensity that they didn't have before.
"Rise and shine little boy, we got work to do."
Naruto grunted before slowly rising to his feet. He glanced at both the ninja before cracking his neck to relieve the stress there.
"Yeah, guess I napped for too long."
Hey kit, you okay?
"Yeah, I'm better than ever."
Kyubi felt worried. However as he was about to ask Naruto what happened while he'd been under due to the chakra imprint he'd given him, Naruto spoke again.
"Don't be so worried, I'm completely fine."
He stretched his arms, before reaching down to his legs. The ninja in front of him glared at him.
"Hey you brat, are you stretching?"
"Yeah, what else would I be doing?"
His partner called from the back.
"Gaki's got a point."
The ninja gave his a partner the middle finger before walking up to Naruto.
"Do I have to kick your ass twice to get you to understand? You aren't going anywhere."
Naruto stared back fiercely.
"Twice? Let me tell you something, the only time you'll ever have kicked my ass is when you've killed me."
"Then I guess you're looking to get murdered."
Naruto grinned.
"If only."
The ninja, tired of Naruto's insults, swiped his hand at him to slap him. Except, it didn't make contact. Naruto had vanished into thin air. He blinked.
"What-"
CRACK!
It was sudden. No, instantaneous. He hadn't even seen the movement, he'd been fortunate that it was his arm that had been hit. His partner could only stare in shock as the ninja was literally kicked across the room. As he slid backwards, he raised his arms out of pure instinct.
CRACK!
A second one. He hadn't known what to look for this time either. The only signal behind the sudden attacks was the sudden bursts of air that sounded like thunder claps. But what was worse was-
"My arms…"
The ninja grunted as he'd realized that both of his arms now had several fractures. Not even chakra layered defensives could fully neutralize whatever Naruto was doing. And he still wasn't visible. His partner whipped out two kunai.
"He isn't using any sort of invisibility skill."
"Yeah I know… this is pure speed."
Being able to move fast enough that he couldn't be seen. The ninja's thoughts were the same in that moment. They made a huge mistake in judgement. Seemingly he could read their minds and so as to show how wrong they were, the speaker on the wall suddenly exploded. The ninja who Naruto had been initially fighting quickly flung a kunai after where he saw a blur. He missed, but what was more, that blur became visible. Right in front of him.
"Huh-"
CRACK!
The ninja had been upright one second, and the next he found himself in the ground. On top of him stood Naruto. His partner didn't stand fearfully though. He was without a doubt nervous, but he couldn't afford fear right now. That luxury was too great a price to pay. Naruto on the other hand, despite looking fine, was trying not to die on the inside.
'Oh, that was not a good idea…'
Kit, what the hell did you just do?!
'I found out about the awakening. I saw how I did it too, so I think I can do it as well.'
You can?
'Yeah, why'd you think I was going so fast?'
I honestly had no idea how you were doing that. It doesn't show in your chakra either.
'Hah! So there's something I know that you don't!'
Gloat all you want kit, you know it's in your best interest to let me know though.
'Yeah, that's true.'
So, explain. Because as far as I was aware you shouldn't get this powerful from an Uzumaki awakening.
'Well, something you said felt off. When you were talking about the whole drawing from blood and Yin and Yang stuff. When I awakened the ability, I think I was able to sense which parts are Yin and Yang. But I was able to sense something else.'
Naruto tapped his seal on his stomach.
'When I got the ability, I realized I couldn't add more chakra like you said I'd be able to. But then I realized that that's because I have a ton of chakra, not just in me though. In the seal as well.'
At that Kyubi seemed to put two and two together.
You reversed the process for your awakening. Instead of adding onto your chakra to create an imbalance, you're reclaiming that chakra to empower your physical strength. And since you used not just your accessible chakra, but what was also meant to keep the seal stable, you gained beyond superhuman strength.
'Yeah, but I'm not feeling too hot right now. I don't think I'm going to do that again.'
Yes, I was about to get to that. The sudden change in your physical abilities would have drastic effects on your body. I wouldn't recommend pushing that ability too hard, instead try using it in small amounts.
'Yup, I'll try that- oh yeah, I'm not feeling good at all…'
Naruto felt a nausea build up in his stomach but he forced it down. The ninja who remained standing was on guard, not sure when Naruto might try anything funny. Kyubi spoke again.
Can you control it though?
Naruto, despite feeling very queasy, nodded his head.
'Yeah, I can control how much I take from my body and how much I put back in. It's not too hard to control the extra power, but when I was going that fast earlier I missed a lot.'
We'll have to take a moment to experiment with this power then. That ningen ahead of you seems capable enough to withstand it for some time.
As if sensing that he was being talked about, the ninja spoke up.
"Well? Are you going to try something or not?"
"Yeah, I'm coming over there to kick your ass right now-"
The ninja tensed as he expected Naruto to attack then. However, Naruto had other plans. Namely, throwing up all over the ground below, including the ninja he took down.
"Urgh!"
And thus, the grand battle of the first floor of Iwa's detention facility only truly started after the instigator passed his lunch over his first victim.
Time until Iwa Invasion: 22:50:00
End of Chapter
Alright chapter done. I am pooped, heck I didn't even finish the chapter the way I wanted to but I had to finish it like this because my break basically ends tomorrow. Anyway, notes time. Naruto awakened a cool skill, I decided to add my own little twist to chakra theory and yes both of those are relevant to later plot. Sasuke getting flustered about Sakura all of a sudden? Who can say, these things happen I guess. Superhuman Naruto was a one-time thing though, just thought you guys would want to know. Alright notes done.
I was extremely tempted to pass on editing this chapter but of course that wouldn't be nice. I just got surprising amounts of mental exhaustion near the end. Anyway chapters will be released weekly from now on, Fridays feel like a good day for me as I have the most time then. Also, drop a review if you have time, it's how I can tell what I'm writing makes sense or not.
