Chapter 9 – The Revised Ninja Handbook

Woo! Alright let's get this chapter rolling, this one will hold a primary focus on Naruto and his new development.

To answer a question I saw in a review, I was referring to what Naruto did when he learnt how to use the awakening. It's honestly overpowered and for the sake of plot and the fact that Kyubi exists, he won't be doing it again. If he does do it, it won't be on the same level.

Alright with that said, it's go time.

Disclaimer: I'm sure that if I owned Naruto, I'd finally find the answer to life, the universe and everything. But I don't, so I'll settle with forty two.

Transitions and flashbacks are in italics.

Tailed beast speech is in bold.

'Thoughts are in single quotations.'

Continuing from last chapter, on the first floor…

"Stay still you little shit!"

Naruto gulped as a barrage of kunai grazed several parts of his jacket as he just barely dodged them. Rolling backwards from the attack, he stood up, slightly unbalanced, and faced his opponent. Honestly, things had been easier when he initially learnt how to use his awakening. However, he could feel the immense strain it put on his muscles, not to mention the nausea. He didn't want to take the risk of hurting himself too much, not while he was still so far from escaping the detention facility. Then again, he was running out of options.

"This isn't looking so good…"

Well he is a jonin. You may have caught the first one earlier by surprise, but now that you no longer have that speed advantage… well, let's just say I might not be able to keep my promise.

Naruto grunted as he set his hands into a ram sign. Closing his eyes for a second he focused on his chakra.

'Need to convert a little more…'

His awakening had granted him not just a new lease on life, but the most interesting use for his chakra. His control was still terrible, but he gained something else from the awakening. An instinctual ability to use the Yin and Yang in his chakra. He didn't understand it all, but he knew that if he dived into the Yang part of his chakra, his body became stronger and faster and if he dived into the Yin he could fight smarter. Again, he didn't understanding it all.

He felt his chakra momentarily split and in that moment he siphoned a small portion of the lighter part into his body near his chest. Naruto suddenly felt very light and springy, like that one time as a kid where he mistakenly drank a cup of his jiji's coffee. His heart pounded and his muscles tightened.

"Ninja Art: Impulse Shot (Ninpo: Imparusu Shotto)!"

The name was Kyubi's idea. The jonin, recognizing the technique at that point, quickly tried to rush him with a kunai strike to the chest. However, as the jonin body flickered in front of Naruto and slashed, Naruto dropped off his feet onto his back, just barely escaping the attack. He rolled backwards once more before rapidly dodging the sudden onslaught of attacks from the Iwa jonin. It was only thanks to his boosted reflexes and increased strength output that he could move as fast as he could. Which was rather impressive actually as the jonin hadn't landed a single strike on him yet. The jonin's frustration was evident on his face, and only increased with every passing second as he slashed and thrust at Naruto.

"Why! Won't! You! Just! Die!?"

Naruto himself knew that he was in a serious stalemate with the jonin. There was no back and forth, he was just managing to survive.

'Dammit, dammit, dammit! I can't attack him, there aren't any openings!'

Calm down kit! Lose your focus and you'll lose your life!

Naruto begrudgingly followed Kyubi's advice. However, he was running out of time. Imparusu Shotto had a runtime of about thirty seconds. Within those thirty seconds he was untouchable, but afterwards the downtime was terrible. He couldn't use the technique immediately afterwards and what's more his movements became sluggish and filled with fatigue.

Okay, I have an idea, but whether it works or not is on you entirely.

'Anything at this point is okay with me!'

As he said those words in his head, he felt a burst of Kyubi's chakra enter his system. It was an extremely small amount though.

'When I said anything that's not what I meant!'

Shut it already! You're grating my nerves, now listen. Flow that chakra to your eyes and use the other technique!

'But it's useless without-'

Did I stutter!?

'No sir!'

Doing as he was told, he also pushed a large amount of chakra into his legs.

'Let me get away from this guy first though!'

In a blast of air, Naruto leaped all the way up to the roof. The jonin slid to a stop before performing a long string of hand signs. Naruto's eyes widened.

Do it already kit!

Naruto once again slammed his hands into a ram sign. This time however he split his chakra and took a portion of the darker part before focusing it near his chest.

"Right! Ninja Art: Mirror Action (Ninpo: Mira Akushon)!"

He felt a sudden strain placed on his muscles as the jonin finished his hand signs.

"Earth Style: Earth Dragon (Doton: Dosekiryu)!"

Out of the ground, a massive dragon's head rose. It glared at Naruto for a split second before rocketing forward. Naruto crossed his arms.

"Shit!"

BOOM!

The ceiling exploded. The jonin smirked as he watched the debris crumble to the ground.

"Took long enough…"

He glanced towards his partner who was still on the ground incapacitated. Shaking his head, he made to pick him up before he felt a powerful burst of chakra from the ceiling. He whipped his head about in surprise.

"What the hell!?"

A figure fell from the roof, landing on the ground in a heap. Then, the figure slowly got up, coughing up a little blood.

"That hurt…"

A heavy wound poured from his head, causing blood to run down the left side of his face. He kept his left eye closed, but his right eye… it was open. And it held within it a deep anger. A red orb with a slit iris stared right at the jonin.

"You… what the hell are you?!"

Naruto wasn't interested in what the jonin had to say though. He was more interested in what he was seeing. An odd silver colour emanated from his opponent.

'Kyubi… what did you do?'

I've changed how Mira Akushon functions. You should be able to use it properly now.

Mira Akushon was the name of a technique that both Kyubi and Naruto thought useless. At heart, it was meant to be a useful supplement for countering but it was frankly useless in that regard beyond a certain level. What it did was that it let Naruto actively counter an attack by copying the attack's power and simultaneously attacking himself. However, he could not control the technique's actions. He automatically countered as if it were clockwork. Thus it put immense strain on his body, though not as much as when he initially awakened his power.

'But what am I looking at?'

That, would be his emotions.

Naruto grunted as he rolled his shoulders. His entire body shook violently and he mentally chastised himself for his actions. He knew there wasn't enough time for him to dodge the blast, but using the last bit of strength he got from Imparusu Shotto to punch the damn thing was stupid. Still, it partially worked and he wasn't dead. However, his body racked with pain beyond belief. He was more fatigued than he'd been the last few times he used it as well.

Looks like you can't use Imparusu Shotto more than four times consecutively, or you risk tearing your muscles apart.

'It's fine, if I have to use it again I will. But, what am I supposed to do with this?'

Kyubi groaned.

Isn't it obvious?

'No, it's not obvious that's why-'

The jonin appeared behind him and slashed but Naruto casually sidestepped the attack.

'-I'm asking Kyubi. Wait…'

The jonin blinked. Naruto was clearly tired, and very injured. Yet somehow he dodged an attack that he wasn't even aware of. He tried again, stabbing at Naruto's neck. However even as he did it, Naruto dodged ahead of time, the attack missing entirely unlike before where it barely missed him. Naruto himself was surprised. Kyubi smirked.

Behold my power kit. I say we dub this one, Kyubi's Intellect.

'Nah, I'm thinking something cooler.'

Hey!

'Something like…'

The jonin's anger reached peak levels then. He shot his right elbow out at Naruto, however not only did Naruto duck under it he punched the jonin in his left side, hard. The jonin grunted as he jumped backwards.

"Ninja Art: Aftershock (Ninpo: Yoshin)… Yeah that has a nice ring to it."

Closing his eye for a moment he focused on his chakra. His body may have been in pain, but he still had plenty of chakra to spare. That was mainly because he'd deduced that Kage Bunshin were useless against the jonin early on in their fight. Well, more like he'd been forced to accept it. However, as things stood he might be able to use it differently. He dismissed the thought as Kyubi spoke.

Kit, this technique also has a time limit. You have around three minutes left.

'Right!'

He flowed his chakra into his legs and arms before sprinting to the jonin. The jonin frowned.

"Don't get so cocky you brat!"

Performing a quick set of hand signs, he launched a barrage of fireballs at Naruto.

'I can see it!'

White glows emanated about the room, acting as indicators and hints as to what he should do. Following them, he treated the white glows as warnings, allowing him to easily sidestep every fireball, and close in very quickly on his opponent. The jonin launched a powerful kick at Naruto, but he jumped over it before launching a kick of his own at the jonin. The jonin ducked before swinging his back fist at Naruto but Naruto rolled on his side to escape it.

"Stay still!"

The jonin then stamped on the ground, causing it to erupt violently. Jagged earth spears rose about the floor, but Naruto had long since evaded them by hopping onto the roof.

"Tch! Get back here!"

The jonin leaped to the roof himself, Naruto rapidly backpedalling to avoid his attacks. The jonin continued, this time employing two kunai as he rapidly hacked and slashed at Naruto. Naruto however wasn't having any of it.

'His openings are still too small! I need a way to hit him fairly!'

Don't you have any kunai or weapons?

'I didn't have the chance to pick them off of that guy earlier!'

The jonin suddenly rose a single hand in a ram sign.

Genjutsu!

'Huh what?'

However it was too late. The jonin slashed into Naruto's back whereas Naruto thought he was still in front of him. Naruto staggered, still grasping to the ceiling with chakra but just barely so.

"Ah… ah…"

He grunted and slowly turned around to face the jonin, whose smirk simply irked him.

"That's it. I think I'm going to take a page out my handbook for once…"

Your handbook? Is that some sort of saying?

"It's an actual handbook I had. I made it before I took the Chunin Exams, but I never had time to use it."

How do I not know this…?

"Heh, you don't see everything fox. There's something I've been meaning to try, but I've never had the chance."

He crossed his fingers over each other. The jonin guffawed.

"Didn't you learn the first time? Your clones are useless, now surrender and I'll consider not executing you."

Naruto grinned.

"Well, maybe the way I was using them before sucked. But now that I got a little something going for me, I wonder how well it will work now?"

He focused on his chakra, building it up and moulding it in a way that was different from before.

Kit, what are you-

"Watch! Shadow Clone Spark (Kage Bunshin Supaku)!"

The jonin stared confusedly at Naruto, wondering what he just did when suddenly he felt a leg connect with his neck. The force of the sudden kick was enough to make him fall off the ceiling. He managed to regain his balance in time to land safely, but his throat was in pain. He coughed haphazardly.

"What- no how did you do that?!"

However when he looked back up at the ceiling Naruto was gone. He panicked slightly before extending his senses to search for him, but as he did a foot found purchase in his stomach.

"Oof!"

He staggered backwards, but before he had time to regain his bearings a fist slammed into his cheek. Again he was knocked off balance. The jonin swung his kunai around wildly to try and cut down a future attacker but as he did that his leg was kicked at, causing him to trip backwards. Before his back met the floor he happened to turn his head left in time to see Naruto suddenly appear out of thin air. Sadly he could not retaliate fast enough as Naruto dropkicked him in his side. He tumbled across the floor, and using a kunai slowed himself down. However when he looked back to where he saw Naruto he was gone.

"What…"

"This is a jonin? Ha! They should have promoted me a long time ago then!"

He shot his head around but no one was there.

"He's so confused, look at him!"

He whipped his head to the left, but again the origin of the voice had vanished. He tried once again to extend his sensory range but received a nasty kick to the temple as soon as he tried. He stumbled backwards, slightly dazed and pissed off to boot.

"You're never going to find me like that. No matter how fast you are… I'm faster."

He could not believe that a mere child was tormenting him like this. Sure he wasn't the most skilled jonin, but he could hold his own in many situations. Heck he was assigned to the lowest floor of the prison, albeit as a gate guard who usually served as a buffer. He refused to let a mere child get the best of him. He began rushing through a set of hand signs.

"Fine, if you want to keep playing hide and go seek, I'll find you out. Earth Style: Erupt (Doton: Kaido Sokutsu)!"

Giant pillars of earth shot forth from all about the floor, which coincidentally destroyed the seal array hidden there for defensive measures. These pillars continued to rise, some even burying into the ceiling, shattering it apart. The jonin finally ended the technique, gasping for air as he expended much of his chakra on it. He grunted.

"Damn brat, you made me go so far…"

"You know this makes things easier for me right?"

The jonin whipped his head around. On top of a somewhat short pillar was Naruto, who sat casually as if the jonin hadn't just tried to crush him to death. Naruto continued.

"This was pretty dumb by the way. I mean, I even had time to fetch some supplies from your friend while you were doing that."

The jonin's eyebrow twitched. Naruto grinned.

"Now I can pay you back twofold for all these injuries you gave me."

He vanished in a puff of smoke. The jonin's eyes widened.

"A bunshin-"

He prepared a Kawarimi, which turned out to be the correct idea as five kunai with explosive tags buried near his feet. As the chunk of stone he replaced himself with was torn to shreds, with himself now on top of a pillar a few metres away, he took a moment to scan his surroundings. The pillars of stone decorated the room making it like a maze. Or more like…

"A damn forest of rocks… the perfect playground for a Konoha ninja. I may have underestimated him a little-"

"You underestimated me a lot!"

Naruto came shooting over from the ceiling behind the jonin. The jonin quickly spun around, kicking at Naruto only for his foot to never make contact.

'Another bunshin-'

He spun around again expecting an attack from his back only to still get kicked in the back.

"What!?"

Naruto never vanished, instead he used a ninja wire to spin about a nearby pillar, confusing the ninja.

"Some jonin you are! Kakashi-sensei would never fall for that kind of trick!"

'HE'S THE COPY NINJA'S STUDENT!?'

As the jonin freefell, he rapidly performed a set of hand signs.

"Earth Style: Earth Clone Jutsu (Doton: Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu)!"

Five clones erupted from the ground beneath him, leaping upwards to combat Naruto while he came up with a plan. However they never even touched Naruto as he generated five Kage Bunshin to thwart them, with the use of explosive tags for good measure. He landed in front of the jonin as the explosions above him went off. The jonin then whipped out an explosive tag of his own.

"Too late brat."

An explosion went off from the ground below as the Iwa jonin watched from the ceiling, quite out of breath.

"He's too much… what kind of breed of shinobi even is he…?"

"The kind you can't beat so easily!"

The jonin practically predicted the attack as he blocked a strike from a clone that appeared in front of him. It vanished in a smokeless manner, and in front of him on the very same ceiling stood Naruto. The fires below them accentuated the intensity of their battle, and though Naruto's eye was no longer red, it held an even greater intensity than before. However, he was heaving heavily, his breaths laboured and short. The jonin sighed.

"So this is it huh… your grand plan? It was well played I'll give you that much. But you can't keep it up anymore can you?"

Naruto just kept glaring at him with his single eye, the other still closed. The jonin continued.

"I noticed that ominous chakra that was coming from you after you escaped my Earth Dragon (Dosekiryu). It helped predict my actions didn't it? Well now it's gone so how do you plan to keep combatting me? You're already at the end of your tether."

Naruto shrugged, even while glaring.

"You're right, about all of that."

"Humph. You were right yourself earlier though. I did underestimate you. I'll remember you kid, when this is all over."

"Right back at you, especially since I already won."

There was no warning as suddenly the ceiling under his feet him gave way to reveal-

"Ninja Art: Joint Transformation: Wrecking Ball (Ninpo: Kansetsu Henge: Hagane-kyu)!"

A gigantic steel ball slammed into the jonin with incredible force. He was in so much shock from the sudden attack that he hadn't realized it until it was too late that-

'The ground!'

CRASH!

The giant wrecking ball smashed into the ground, with the jonin underneath. Silence reigned for a few seconds before Naruto grinned manically from the ceiling, pumping his fist.

"Hell yeah! Straight out of the handbook baby!"

I still can't believe that worked…

"Of course it worked, it was my plan after all."

Oh that too. I was talking about that crazy idea of a jutsu.

"Hah, I've been waiting for a really long time to try it out, and now I know it works!"

It requires an incredible amount of chakra and several minds working together in accord. I'd say it's a technique that only you could pull off.

"A jutsu that only I can use… now that I like."

And I admit that was indeed well played. You lured him up to the ceiling by dominating him on the ground. But beforehand you deployed several clones to use that jutsu right above where he stood. Still, it was risky. The jutsu might not have worked you know.

"It's all about taking risks in these sorts of situations. But also opportunities you know? When I realized there was an empty space above the ceiling when he used that crazy doton, I had to try it. And it paid off. And now I got a new card up my sleeve."

Hm, a joint transformation… It holds a lot of potential. If we get out of here you have to explore that jutsu in great detail.

"Yeah, but for now, I think I sensed someone familiar down here…"

Naruto dropped from the ceiling, landing as the giant wrecking ball vanished in smoke. The jonin was… well Naruto preferred to ignore him as he walked around the crater. He made his way to one of the gates on the left side of the room that had surprisingly gone untouched.

"Time to find out what he's doing here…"

A few minutes later…

"We've got a situation!"

A young Iwa chunin came barging through a door, panicking. He looked left and right, before noticing two guards, also chunin, staring at him oddly. And nervously. He ran up to them. One of them, a middle aged man, immediately drew a kunai, pointing it at the young chunin.

"Hey, hey! Back up a moment will ya?!"

The young chunin got even more panicky, drawing a kunai of his own.

"A-Are you one of ours?!"

The chunin who hadn't drawn a weapon, a young man with a bandana for a headband, put up his hands pleadingly.

"C'mon guys let's all calm down! The enemy is clearly trying to throw us into disarray."

The young chunin faltered, lowering his kunai.

"Y-You're right…"

The middle aged one also lowered his kunai, wiping sweat from his brow.

"How chaotic… even though he's just a child, he can make all of us panic like this."

The bandana chunin shook his head.

"If there's anything history has taught us, it's that age is irrelevant when it comes to monsters."

The middle aged one replied.

"Yes, you make a good point. He's already taken down so many of our forces with just a few convenient Henges."

The young chunin trembled slightly.

"My whole squad was taken down by that-that thing…"

The bandana chunin grunted.

"And communications are out. Something big is going down in this prison, big enough to affect even the outside world soon."

The middle aged chunin clenched his fists stressfully.

"Well it better hurry, we're outmuscled right now."

"Good of you to admit when you're weak."

All three chunin paused at the sudden foreign voice. Looking up at the ceiling above them, they gaped. Naruto stood there casually with his arms crossed. Despite all the wounds on his body, the blood staining his face and clothes and the tears in his clothes themselves, he didn't look like he was disadvantaged at all. Rather, he looked even more intimidating, especially with the dried blood that caked his closed left eyelid. He stared in a detached manner before speaking again.

"Alright let's do this. Which one of you has the keys to that cell?"

The bandana chunin tensed slightly, silently cursing at himself as Naruto's gaze focused on him.

"So it's you huh? Alright, just pass it over here and you guys can walk away scot free."

The young chunin glanced at the bandana chunin, almost urging him to pass the key to Naruto. The middle aged one sighed.

"You know we can't do that boy."

Naruto shrugged.

"Was worth a shot."

Crossing his fingers over each other, a blast of smoke erupted about him. When it cleared he was gone. All three chunin went on guard. The young chunin spoke in a hushed tone.

"I-I can't get a lock on his chakra!"

The bandana one grunted, drawing a tanto he had on his belt. He also spoke in a hushed tone.

"He's supposed to be a jinchuriki! His chakra should be a beacon!"

The middle aged one broke into their conversation.

"No, the boy is aware of his chakra capacity. Somehow though, he's spread it to the point where it's difficult to tell exactly where he is."

The room they were in was a small one with a somewhat high ceiling and poor lighting thanks to the torches on the wall. It was cylindrical in shape with a large gate to the back. A gate that held something or someone in it. These chunin were essentially tasked with guarding whoever was in the gate. But who exactly, they didn't know. The bandana chunin whispered quickly.

"We don't have to beat him, we just need to hold out until we can get backup."

He then spoke out loud.

"What's so important that you want to get a key from us?"

Surprisingly, Naruto responded from the other side of the room.

"There's someone in the cell that I know."

All three chunin turned around quickly, but the source of the voice was gone. A chuckle came from their other side, but again it vanished.

"It's not that easy to find me."

Suddenly, a sickening crack went off to the right of the bandana chunin. Whipping his head in that direction, he saw the middle aged chunin staggering to the ground, his attacker already gone. He clutched his right arm. The young chunin began hyperventilating as he tried to help his comrade up. He was not experienced enough to handle this sort of combat. The bandana chunin kept his guard up though.

"You're fast for a kid your size."

Suddenly a voice whispered in his ear.

"I get that a lot."

He immediately attempted to elbow the source but his attack hit air. He realized his mistake then.

'I let my guard down!'

As he thought it, a foot slammed into his stomach. He felt the air leave his body, and before he even had time to catch it, a second foot connected with his chin. The impact caused him to be lifted off the floor, and as he looked down Naruto appeared right in front of him.

"Over here!"

Naruto's fist connected with the chunin's chin, pushing him further up and dazing him. Vanishing in thin air, he appeared again and again, punching the chunin further up until he had enough of that punishment. He swung his tanto in a moment of clarity, but again met air.

"Wha-"

"Uzumaki Barrage!"

A leg slammed into his back, rocketing him into the ground with enough force to crack the thing and several bones in his body.

"Argh!"

He attempted to get up, ignoring the flaring pain from the several broken bones in his body. A foot slammed onto his back, pushing him back onto the floor.

"Stay there."

The middle aged chunin and young chunin stared in disbelief at Naruto. He casually appeared out of thin air on a whim. He stared at the two chunin before rolling his eyes.

"You're really not going to put up a fight?"

"There's no need!"

Naruto vanished as a barrage of kunai flashed past his position. Suddenly, six more chunin appeared. The one who threw the kunai tapped one of the chunin next to him on the shoulder.

"You were right on the money Daisuke!"

The chunin known as Daisuke nodded his head.

"I got his profile checked out. He's apparently a student of that man, it makes sense that he would be here."

The lead chunin shook his head.

"Tch! How did he even find out though?"

The young chunin who was still next to the middle aged one began grinning.

"We-We're saved…"

"You guys are getting annoying…"

Naruto stood at the back of the room, facing the cell door. If one looked close enough he appeared to be heaving a little. The bandana chunin grunted, despite still being on the floor.

"Trying to figure out what you're going to do next kid? Face it, you're screwed."

"You Iwa ninja have a bad habit of underestimating people. Besides…"

The cell door clicked before sliding open slowly. The bandana chunin gaped as he realized his key had been stolen off of him.

"…I already won. I'm just taking out the trash 'ttebayo."

Suddenly hissing sounds could be heard all about the room. Only the head chunin and the young one had enough time to use the Kawarimi before the hidden explosive tags went off. Everyone else was sent flying about from the force of the explosions. The debris that fell after finished the job, as well as blocking the entrance to the room. Naruto had barely moved at all, even during the explosions. After the rumbling came to a stop and the dust settled, he determined that any enemies left were either incapacitated or weren't in the room anymore. With that, he entered the cell.

That was… very much not your style kit. Using your bunshin to disguise your true location, hiding live explosives through distraction, even for sneaking up on opponents. That was too smooth, and you did it all with bunshin.

He hunched slightly, in a vain attempt to hide his pain and fatigue. Kyubi ignored it for the moment.

"I'll remember… to be more hands on next time."

Sarcasm doesn't fit you either.

Naruto rolled his eyes again as he approached the resident of the cell. The cell was dark but thanks to the still working lighting from outside the cell, there was enough light to make out the person held in chains against the wall. His flak jacket and hitai ate were missing, his shinobi regulation pants and shirt were in shambles, hell the blood that coated his skin and clothes was everywhere. But his single dark eye that looked up at him was one that showed resolution. It then cocked in confusion. He spoke out in a haggard cough that his mask could not fully contain.

"N-Naruto?"

"Kakashi-sensei… don't worry."

He made for a lock in the wall behind Kakashi's head, using the key he had stolen to release it. The chains became slack, and the cuffs restraining his wrists unlocked. His hands fell free but his body remained upright.

"I'll get you… out of here…"

A wave of fatigue hit Naruto then. He stumbled backwards.

"D-Dammit not now…"

Kyubi decided to intervene.

You overstressed your body kit. You need a breather.

"I-I'm fine…"

I'm well aware of why you didn't directly confront those chunin. But even using Kage Bunshin took energy out of you.

"No way... I can keep going… datte…"

His eyes rolled to the back of his skull.

"…bayo…"

He fell forward, and would have landed prone had Kakashi not caught him. He looked down at Naruto, noting the state he was in and that he was asleep. Glancing out of his cell, he observed the debris and fallen chunin scattered about. Kakashi smirked.

"Something interesting happened while I was down here."

Time Until Iwa Invasion: 22:10:00

End of Chapter

Late chapter again. This will probably become a trend so I'll try to release one to two chapters a month instead of a strict schedule. College tough. As for the chapter, it seems that Naruto has gone semi-pro. Or something like that. I think I was trying to make a joke with this but it didn't quite make it.

Anyway, below is the… profile I guess for the techniques Naruto used. They don't have a rank for now, I'll probably add them in later chapters.

(1) Name: Ninja Art: Impulse Shot (Ninpo: Imparusu Shotto)

Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary

Range: Close (0 – 5m)

Rank: TBA

Description: Naruto temporarily splits his chakra into its Yin and Yang halves before drawing on a small amount of the Yang half. He siphons it into his chest where it converts into raw physical energy, largely boosting his strength, speed and reaction time across his body. It lets him move fast enough to avoid attacks from chunin level opponents and gives him enough strength to physically counter a powerful earth style jutsu (though not without injury). However, the extra physical energy in his body forces it to operate on higher than regular standards, and thus the technique cannot be used more than a few times or Naruto risks destroying his body.

(2) Name: Ninja Art: Mirror Action (Ninpo: Mira Akushon)

Type: Ninjutsu, Supplemetary

Range: Close (0 – 5m)

Rank: TBA

Description: Naruto temporarily splits his chakra into its Yin and Yang halves before drawing on a small amount of the Yin half. He siphons it into his chest where it converts into raw mental energy, uniquely boosting his reflexive ability. Naruto can virtually counter any physical attack that is thrown his way with the technique by copying its speed, power and execution. However if his body is unused to the movement or it requires more strength than he actively has, he will put immense strain on his body to keep up with an opponent. (Prior to any belief you may or may not have, this technique has a use later on.)

(3) Name: Ninja Art: Aftershock (Ninpo: Yoshin)

Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary

Range: Close (0 – 5m)

Rank: TBA

Description: Naruto uses Mira Akushon in conjunction with a small amount of Kyubi's chakra, upgrading the former while adding his sensory ability onto it. This boosts his reaction time and foresight to incredible levels, letting him dodge attacks as an enemy thinks of them and also lets him see blind spots in an enemy. However, it is very draining on his stamina and it requires him to also have the physical skill to keep up with an opponent. Also, he is still vulnerable to genjutsu while using this technique. (Think of this skill like Katakuri level Kenbunshoku Haki, for you One Piece watchers out there)

(4) Name: Shadow Clone Spark (Kage Bunshin Supaku)

Type: Ninjutsu, Offensive

Range: Close to mid (0 – 10m)

Rank: TBA

Description: Naruto moulds his chakra in a slightly different fashion, letting him expand the range of deployment for his Kage Bunshin. He can spawn them in precise positions, letting him strike at an enemy with ease and he can both spawn and release them in a smokeless manner. This lets him use them to barrage enemies with incredibly fast attacks, confuse them by luring them to the sounds of his clones and even use them for powerful combination sequences. It can be thought of as a step up from the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.

(5) Name: Ninja Art: Joint Transformation: Wrecking Ball (Ninpo: Kansetsu Henge: Hagane-kyu)

Type: Ninjutsu, Offensive

Range: Close (0 – 5m)

Rank: TBA

Description: Naruto uses several Kage Bunshin to employ a "Joint Transformation (Kansetsu Henge)", which lets Naruto use transformations far different than normal ones. Note: not to be confused with the Beast Transformation. It requires all users thinking in sync with each other, with the same exact image in mind for the transformation. When used, it transforms all the users into a single giant steel ball. Like an actual steel ball, it is very difficult to damage, which makes this transformation unique when compared to the regular Henge which can be broken easily. What makes it more unique is the ability to change its weight, letting it become far heavier than normal. (The specifics of the Kansetsu Henge will be covered fully at a later time, but yeah it's a permanent addition to Naruto's Arsenal.)

Alright, that's it for now.
