"So Zordon, If you allow It. Me and Trini would like to be on call exclusively for the next 24 hours sir." Jason spoke with bravado.
"That's very gracious and thoughtful of you two, Jason and Trini. Rita seems to be silent for now. But If any threats appear, we will notify both of you immediately." The Wise galactic wizard replied to his student.
Trini and Alpha watched the scene between the two while also talking amongst themselves.
"Oh My Trini. Will you and Jason be able to handle something like this? What If Rita sends a platoon of her most meanest, baddest and ugliest monsters down with 300 Putties!? The Assistant spoke dramatically.
The Yellow Range couldn't help but chuckle at her robotic friend's overdramatics.
"Well...hehe-ha Alpha, in the event of all that happening. I think It's safe to say, you should probably call in the others." The young lady explained the best she could, in-between her laughter.
Their conversation was broken up as Jason approached them.
"We're good to go T. For the next 24hr It's just me and you. But If things get too crazy. Then he will call-in backup for us." The Red Ranger explained evenly.
"Oh, Ai-yi-yi-yi-yi! Please be careful you two! And don't hesitate to call for help." Alpha said to the rangers sincerely.
The leader placed a reassuring hand on the robotic shoulder.
"Don't worry Alpha, me and Trini got this." Jason said with self-assuredness, while maintaining a warm gaze with Trini the whole time.
After teleporting out of the command center. The two teens figured it was best to enjoy their free time.
They started by going to a unique cinema that only showed classic action/martial arts films. It was a special double feature showing of Police Story 1&2.
"Whoa! Those Movies Were So Cool! I love Jackie Chan! I can't believe it took me this long to see these movies." Trini said with pure glee, they were fresh from leaving the theater.
"I know Jackie is a cinematic genius and treasure. It's one thing watching them at home on Blu-ray, another experience watching them on the big screen." Jason said with excitement and appreciation.
"Oh! So you've been holding out on me, fearless leader. You could have already shown me these movies." Trini spoke with mocking suspicion.
"Not at all Miss Kwan. But now that I know better, I'll do better. Let me start by getting you something to eat." The Red Ranger offered genuinely.

Jason offered to take Trini to a different spot, but the young lady just wanted to go to Ernie's. Couldn't go wrong at Ernie's Place.
Jason was enjoying his chicken fingers with fries and Trini equally enjoying her meat lover's pizza, with Dr Pepper and Pepsi respectfully.
After they were finished, they started playing some arcade games around the youth center. With Jason edging Trini out in Mortal Kombat 3 and Street Alpha 3, but she took all three matches in NBA Jams. After that, they moved on to Air Hockey, where the young lady swept her teammate in all four rounds.
She let him know about it through lightheart jabbing and trash talk, but Jason took it all in stride. And even enjoyed it and found it cute.
Moving on to shooting pool, Jason was helping Trini with her form. Which caused him to place his hands lightly on top of hers. Being so close to her allowed him to involuntarily inhale her fragrance, which smelled of cherries and lemons.
The Aroma along with nearly being pressed up against the lean nicely shaped body of his friend. Was having the leader's hormones stir, but he was unaware of himself having a similar effect on her.
Trini knew the Red Ranger was well built, she has seen him shirtless more than once. But so close to the ripped body, was making her own more hot. Her carnal instincts told to press herself more up against the body and she listened.
Molding her heart shaped bum more against Jason's groin. She cheered to herself internally when he stiffened up and let out a shaky breath from between his lips.
Remembering why he got this close to begin with made a few more tweaks to her form, before stepping back and allowing her to take the shot. Which drained perfectly.
"Nicely shot T!" Jason cheered.
"Thanks J, you're an awesome teacher!" Trini replied back as equally upbeat.
The pair continued to hang out with one another enthusiastically until the youth center closed for the night, which they helped Ernie with.
It was 9:30 at night and it's been six hours since they left the command center. And no crises or threats have popped up so far.
And they took full advantage of the situation. Going on a nice nightwalk in the park nearby, where they continued to talk and learn more and new things about one another.
Like Jason learned that despite her performance tonight and at times, that Yellow Ranger was an avid gamer. Who wanted to get better at fighting games specifically. The Red Ranger found not only the fact that she was a gamer attractive, but that she wanted to get better at a genre of he, himself loved.
Trini herself learned. Jason dreamed of one day going on a Musha shugyō; Warrior pilgrimage. Finding it very admirable and…sexy how it wasn't just a journey to become a stronger fighter or martial artist. But gain enlightenment mentally and spiritually, becoming a better man, leader and overall person.
Neither wanted to leave the other's company. So Jason being the person,went for it.
"Trini...w-w-would you like to stay the night at my house. My parents won't be home until late Sunday night. But even if they were, it would be cool. I...I want to keep spending time with you. But only If it's cool...I don't want you to get in trouble with your parents." Jason spoke earnestly but passionately. Give bashful but hopeful glances Trini's way.
Trini was shouting her thanks to the Heavens internally for luck and blessing. It just so happened that her parents were gone for the weekend themselve, not that she had to sneak around. But it made things much easier.
"Sure, I want to keep spending time with you too. And It's cool with my parents too. They're out of town for the weekend. But I still need to run by the house and get some clothes." The young lady answered, trying her best not to display her full blown excitement.
Jason showed he's by the big smile on his face.
The duo were making their way up Jason's porch when their communicators went off. They gave each other a knowing look, as If saying they were almost at the finish line, Jason gave Trini his key so she could put their bags inside. While he answered the call.
" Hey Alpha and Zordon, what's up?" The Red Ranger questioned concern.
"Jason, Goldar and a dozen of Putties have appeared in downtown Sacramento causing havoc. We need you and Trini to intervene and stop them. The galactic wizard spoke in earnest.
"Don't worry Zordon, we'll stop them!" Trini said firmly and reassuringly. Having come back outside after putting the bags away, locking the door.
"Teleport us Alpha. We're ready." Jason declared firmly.
And within seconds the rangers were turned into matter and heading for the chaos.
