Regina was staring at her phone and trying to think why this would be a bad idea, but she couldn't find any. Theodora was right, and if Henry trusts her to do that, she should try it, so she dialed Emma's number and waited.
"Regina..." the blonde was waiting for that call.
"Hello, Emma..."
"Hey, Is everything ok?"
"Yeah. I-" Regina paused and Emma waited. "My kids came home today with some crazy ideas."
"Oh?"
"I'm pretty sure you know exactly what I'm talking about." Emma couldn't see it, but Regina smirked.
"Well, Regina, your kids are pretty crazy, so, I'm not sure what they asked you." Emma chuckled and Regina just smiled.
"Let's not forget that one of them is your kid too."
"Yeah, that's what worries me the most... So."
"They think it's a good idea for me to teach you magic, and they said you were ok with that and that got me by surprise."
"Why? Because you were the evil queen? I told you, Regina, I don't care about that, and I trust you to do that. I mean, you're the only one I trust right now."
"I told you..." Regina whispered. "I'm really bad at this... Friends thing. I'm not used to this Emma."
"Well, this could be a good start then." Emma smiled.
"Well, " that was too hard for her. Too hard. "We could meet at my vault and start for there."
"Sure! I'd love that."
"Alright, I see you on Monday at 8 for… Fr your first lesson. You bring the coffee."
"Alright." Emma chuckled. "See you there, Regina, and thank you… "
"You're welcome. Have a good night, Emma."
"You too, Regina." Regina hangup, and closed her eyes for a few seconds. She really hopes this will turn into something useful.

After dinner and another movie, they were all ready to sleep. Henry was already in bed with his mom tucking him in, and Theo was finishing brushing her teeth, and when she was laying on her bed, her phone light up. When she saw who was texting her, a smile pop up on her face.
Jack: I'm boring as hell, watching a crazy tv show, and thought what you could be doing right now?
Theo: Well, I'm just ready to go to bed. I just finished a marathon of some Avengers movies.
She sent the text and it didn't take long for the reply to come.
Jack: cool! The movies are cool. Wait... Did you watch all of them in one day? That's kinda impossible.
Theo: Of course not, weirdo! Lol, I still have a lot to go. And I'm loving all of them. But hey... What time did you leave work today? The girl laid on her pillow and smiled at her phone.
Jack: That's true. Which one did you watch? Oh, I left work at 5 pm. I'm tired... :(
Theo: Well, I watched Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man 1 -2. Henry said we will need the whole week to finish every movie. Oh, poor thing... But that's already, you're old so, go to bed, old man. Haha.
Jack: I'm not old, you're old.
Theo was so distracted texting and chuckled that she didn't saw her mom coming to her room. Regina stopped, and wait for a few seconds. She couldn't ignore that cute smile on Theo's face and the former queen sighed knowing exactly who was causing that.
"Theo?" she said without scared the girl, walking to the room and sitting at the girl's bed.
"Hey, mom..." Theo put her phone down and smiled at her mama.
"Are you ready to sleep?"
"Yep! Is Henry sleeping already?" her phone beep, and she could see Jack's name on her screen.
"Not yet, I went to his bedroom and he's finishing a chapter from his book."
"Oh! So, did you talked to Emma?"
"Yeah, I called her and I told her I would teach her magic. So, we'll start it on Monday."
"Really? Mom, that's good!"
"I hope so because I don't know if I can't trust myself with that. All I've been learning is about dark magic. I don't know how I could teach someone with light magic and-" Regina was rambling and Theodora grabbed her mother's hand, making her stop and look at the girl.
"We trust you, you don't have to be nervous, it's Emma. She is the easiest person I know, so, you can do it, mama."
"I'll never understand who you can trust me like that." Regina looked down at their joined hands.
"What? Mom... For obvious reasons. I saw you many times, I knew you were alone and everything you did was because you were hurt, and I'm not only talking about my dad or Snow, you were hurt by Cora... She hurt you since the day you were born. So, I trust you because I can see you. And you have such a good heart, and Henry is seeing that too, and Emma too. We trust you!" Without saying anything, Regina pulled her daughter into her arms, hugging her tight.
"I love you, my sweet girl. Thank you."
"I know it's hard to trust someone, but, I promise if Emma or anyone else hurt you, I'll crush them myself." Theo chuckled and Regina smiled kissing her daughter's forehead.
"Now, let's talk about you," Regina smirked, and looked at the girl.
"Me? Why? I'm not doing anything." Theo frowned, a bit confused.
"I know, but let's talk for a bit." Regina taps the girl's leg, and Theo's phone lights up with a text. "I want you to understand that I'm just worried. You just got here, and I don't want anything happening to you. I don't know who I can trust in this town, especially because I'm the Evil Queen, and I'm pretty sure there are people out there that want to hurt me and I'm always worrying that something will happen to you or Henry. I know you're excited to be here and happy with your job, however, I just want you to be careful."
"Alright, but why are you telling me this?" Theo knew why, but she wanted to hear it from her mother.
"Because I saw the way that boy looks at you. and..." Theo was about to protest, but her mother stopped her. "I'm not blind, I can see you like him. I'm not telling you to stop whatever it's happening between you and Jackson, I'm just asking you to be careful. That's all."
"I-I..." Well, She couldn't hide this anymore, her mother already knows she likes the boy. "Alright, mama, I promise I'll be careful." the girl smiled and Regina kissed her forehead.
"He seems nice. but we can't ignore how ironic this is. You and a stable boy..."
"I know right?" they laughed and Theo saw her phone lighting up again and she grabbed it. "But he's really nice, mama. Maybe we can invite him for dinner one day. Just so, you could meet him outside the stable."
"I'll think about it, alright? Just don't rush anything. Take your time getting to know him better. If he likes you, he'll be patient."
"Thank you, mama. I will... But, I don't know for sure if he likes me that way, although Henry is sure he does."
"Oh sweet, he does. Even Emma could see it." Regina chuckled.
"Really?" And it was at that moment Regina saw that her daughter could easily fall in love with that boy, and that worry her even more. It was too soon. This couldn't be. Not now! She wouldn't be like her mother. No, she will let her kids be happy.
"Yes, dear heart, I think he likes you too."
"Cool! I mean, yeah, that's nice." Theo smiled at her phone as she saw Jack's texts.
"Alright. Don't stay on your phone too long. I'm going to bed. Good night, my princess."
"Oh, mom! Not a princess..." Theo whined and Regina laughed walking out of her daughter's room.

Their Sunday was lazy, the small family spent the day watching more of Marvel's movies, and Regina teaches Theo how to make her famous lasagne at dinner. She did everything to hide how nervous she was to teach Emma the next day. Unfortunately for the Queen, Monday comes too fast.
She was ready, and she could hear Theo and Henry in the kitchen. The girl wasn't a morning person, but she's laughing this morning, light and happy laugh.
"Good morning." Regina walked to them, kissing their forehead.
"Good morning, mom!" Henry said, "Are you ready to handle Emma this morning?"
"Yes, Henry, I'm ready. I'm sure I'll have a lot of work to do with Miss Swan." Regina grabbed a cup of coffee and sat with the kids.
"Oh don't say that." Theo chuckled. "Emma is fun to be around"
"She's an idiot, just like her parents." and both her kids giggled at Regina. "What's so funny?"
"Mom, we're not sending you to death, it's just to teach Emma, and you acting like it's the hardest thing to do," Henry said, finishing his cereal.
"She's nervous, Henry."
"Why would I be nervous?"
"I don't know, mama. But you tell me." Theo smirked and Regina narrowed her eyes. "Don't forget that I can feel your emotions."
"Oh, that... Reminds me to found a way to block that."
"Why? It must be fun!" Henry got back to them, ready to go to school.
"It's not," Regina said. "Are you ready for school, Henry?"
"Yeah, is Emma going to take me or?"
"Well, since your sister is in such a good mood this morning, I'm sure she can take you, and then go to work."
"What? Oh mother, don't be like that... " Theodora chuckled and walked to the sink, putting her plate and cup there, before turned to her mom again. "I blocked my emotions, you can do the same... I'm sorry if I feel you sometimes, but it's not something I can control all the time. Especially when you're nervous... I got worried, that's all."
"I know..." Regina sighed. "You don't have to worry, I'm fine. Now, go you two... I don't want Henry to be late."
"Let's go, nerd. I'll puff us there. Are you ready?"
"To puff? Heck yeah! This is awesome."
"I really don't like that. I'll teach you how to drive. I don't want you to puff everywhere."
"But it's sooooooo easy!" Theo and Henry pouted and Regina could see the resemblance between her son and Emma, and how much Theo looks like Daniel doing that cute pout.
"Just... Go! I'll see you guys later. Have a good day."
"Yesss! have a good day, mama! And try not to kill Emma. Love you!"
"Love you, mom!" before Regina could say goodbye, a yellow smoke made her children disappeared.

"Hey Ruby, can I have two coffee to go, and a bear claw, please!"
"Good morning to you too, Emma! Why are you excited?"
"Sorry, good morning. I'm not excited, I just have some magic lessons today."
"Uh! And who is the teacher?" Ruby smirked as she prepared the savior's order.
"It's Regina."
"Really? I'm not surprised." Ruby handed Emma the order and leaned on the balcony.
"What do you mean?"
"Emma... If I'm not wrong, Henry asked her to help, and she couldn't say no to him. And she tries to hide, but she has a big heart... She's just scared to show people that. I don't blame her."
"Yeah... I'll try to not screw up or whatever. I really have to go, I'm late and she will kill me. I see you later, Rubes. Thanks."
As soon as she got to the Vault. Regina's Mercedes was already there. She ran inside and found the mayor sitting on a comfortable couch reading a book.
"You're late." Regina closed the book and Emma sighed.
"I know, I'm sorry. But I brought you coffee." the blonde smiled and handed the cup to the former queen.
"Well, thank you, you didn't have to."
"I know, but I want to. So where do we start?" Emma was walking around the vault, grabbing a small bottle with a blue liquid in it.
"First, do NOT touch anything, " Regina snatched it from Emma's hands putting it back in place. "Now, tell me, the first time you used magic, what were you feeling?"
"Angry?" Emma sat on the couch, finishing her cup of coffee. She ate her bear claw on the way because she knew Regina would be angry if she gets anything dirty on her perfect and organized vault. "Your mother was a bitch, she pissed me off."
"She does that a lot. But, that's not the point. The point is... Magic is emotion, so, for you to do something you must feel it first."
"So if I want to make an apple appear on my hand I'd have to... Be angry?" Emma asked and Regina rolled her eyes.
"No, Em-ma. There's a lot of emotions, like love for example."
"Right, sorry."
"First lesson, since you mention an apple. I want you to make one appear on your hand."
"What?"
"You heard me. Extend your hand, and open it." Emma did what Regina asked and felt a bit of an idiot doing that, but she tried to focus.
"Why can I just make money appearing in my hand?" Emma joked, but Regina only rolled her eyes. "Sorry… so an apple? Alright." Emma took a deep breath and closed her eyes trying to concentrate.
"Think about the apple, the form of it, the smell, the weight of it... and try to relax. You don't need to feel angry, only... Relaxing for this kind of thing. Can you do that?" Emma only nodded and kept her focus. "You're thinking too hard, Emma."
"I'm trying to relax, Regina..." Emma whispered and the mayor waited, but not apple or money appear on the savior's hands. "I can't, Regina." Emma opened her eyes and pouted.
"Don't pout, dear. You look exactly like your mother doing that." the mayor smirked and sat by Emma's side. "It's being hard for you because you're trying too hard." opening her hand, an apple appeared on the brunette's hand, and she gave it to Emma. "See? I wasn't even thinking, I just saw the apple and felt her weight in my hand."
"Easy for you to say. You do magic for years... I'm just learning it."
"I know Emma. It seems difficult, but it's not... you're just trying too hard."
"I'm sorry..." Emma whispered and Regina looked at her.
"You don't have to apologize."
"I-... " Regina saw the sudden change in Emma's mood and frowned.
"What's it?"
"Nothing... Sorry, let's do it again."
"Emma... What's wrong?"
"I want to learn magic, it's just… I know how easy you lost your patience with me, and this makes me nervous, Regina. And I- I don't want to disappoint you." and that got the former Queen by surprise. Emma doesn't want to disappoint her? What?
"Emma... I-" She didn't know what to say about that. So, she pats the blonde's knee and smiled. "Don't be nervous, just... Try to relax and I'll do my best to not lose my patience with you."
"I doubt that, " Emma chuckled. "But, try not to yell at me, it'll be a good start."
"Ok, I promise I'll try." They smiled at each other, and Emma was sure she would pass out right there. Everything about Regina was her weakness. "Now, let's try again."

"Argh! I do love you guys, I do! But I hate this part." Theo was finishing clean one of the cubs, one of the horses throws up, and before the vet get there, she was cleaning the horse.
"Is everything ok in there, m'lady?" One of the staff come to help her.
"Oh, hey John… Yeah, I just finished clean Stacy's cub. She wasn't feeling good this morning, and now she throws up. Poor thing."
"I heard the veterinary is coming. If you want, I can wait here with Stacy."
"Nah, it's ok. I will stay with her. I need to talk to the vet when she gets here, but thanks."
"Alright. If you need anything..."
"Thank you, John."
"Poor Stacy... I think she wasn't ready for her busy day yesterday." Jack's voice sounds right behind Theo, making the girl jumped.
"What the fuck..."
"Sorry..." The boy laughed and walked in front of her.
"Don't do that, dude. I could burn you with some fireballs."
"Right. I forgot..." He rolled his eyes, mocking her. "Stacy had a busy and tiring day yesterday. My dad told me her owner tired her up."
"Really? Did you know if he feeds her?"
"Not that I know... But if he walked her through the woods, maybe she ate something she shouldn't. And You don't need to be here, my dad will come with the Dr. Let's go have some lunch, I brought something for you..."
"What is it?" Theo closed the small gate of the cub and walked out of it with Jackson.
"I made one of your favorite last night, and I brought you a piece."
"Blueberry pie?" Theo smiled excitedly.
"I don't know..." Jack shrugged laughing. Soon they arrived at the cafeteria of the stable and Jack went to get their lunch while Theo went to the bathroom, washed her hands, and got back to sat at one of the tables.
"My mom made some sandwiches."
"And you brought some for me too?"
"Well, yeah... Because I want you to bring me some of your mother's lasagne as payback."
"I'll think about it. She made it last night... And it was soo good!" Theo smirked, and Jackson narrowed his eyes.
"Oh man, you should bring some for me."
"Maybe next time. I didn't know my mom's lasagne was so famous." Jack gave her one sandwich and an orange juice. "Thanks."
"It is. She brought some to Emma and Snow's welcome home's party at Granny's one night and I could eat that whole lasagne." and that moment Theo had an idea...
"Well, there's some from last night, if want we can go there right now and have it."
"What? Right now? Are you crazy? We don't have time to drive to your house and-"
"Who talked about drive? I can puff us there." The girl smirked, and before Jack could answer, a yellow smoke surrounded them and both were in Regina's kitchen.
"Theodora! What the hell?"
"What? Are you scared of the Evil Queen..." Theo mocked the boy, letting her sandwich on the balcony, and got the lasagne out of the fridge. "Here we go. It's all yours. There's the microwave... Be my guest." the girl sat on the kitchen island and got back to her delicious lunch. "Oh and don't worry, my mom is not home and she's not getting back right now, so... Go eat the lasagne."
"Dude! You'll be the death of me. I can't believe you did this... " Jackson laughed and gave in to her, he wouldn't miss this opportunity to eat that delicious lasagne.
Xxxxxx
"I can't believe I did that" Emma had two apples and her blue jacket on the couch at the vault.
"Congratulations, Emma. You passed the first lesson of the day." Regina smiled and Emma chuckled.
"Stop mocking me, I'm happy."
"I'm not mocking you. I'm being genuinely honest. You can do a lot more, Emma. You just need to stop thinking too hard."
"I know. I'll practice that more... Seriously, Regina, thank you."
"You're welcome. Just don't try to learn anything without me for now. We can continue this tomorrow."
"I won't, I'll just try to appear other things."
"Not money, Emma!"
"What?" Emma giggled. "I won't... I promise. Just small things."
"Alright! We're done for today. I need to go to a meeting in an hour."
"Yeah, I need to go to the station so my dad can go have some lunch." Emma grabbed her things and started eating one of the apples. "Oh damn! It's delicious!"
"I need to grab my lunch before the meet. Well, I-" Regina grabbed her purse and turned to Emma. That was a bit awkward. "I'll see you tomorrow... I'll text you."
"Deal. I-" should I hug her goodbye or? Emma thought as she kept looking at Regina without knowing what to do.
"Yeah. Let's go." Regina turned to the stairs and Emma followed her out of the vault. The Brunette locked it and went to her car as Emma went to her yellow bug. "Bye, Emma. I'll text you..."
"Alright. Bye, Regina." Emma watched as Regina gotta into her car and drive away. The savior stayed staring in the same direction as the brunette went and thought that maybe... Just maybe they did have a small change in their relationship.
Xxxxx
"Damn! This is the best lasagne in the whole world." Jackson ate his lunch and washed the Tupperware and drank some water.
"Your mom's sandwich was really good! I love Turkey, tell her thanks. Now, let's go back to the stable so I can eat that delicious blueberry pie."
"Wait. Are you sure it was ok for me to eat the last piece of the lasagne?" Jackson walked back to the kitchen island, leaning into it.
"Stop being scared of my mom. She wouldn't mind... And we all ate too much of it last night, so don't worry." Theo leaned her elbows on the counter, rolling her eyes at Jack.
"I'm not scared of your mom, dude."
"Sure," Theo smirked and they started at each other for a few seconds and without notice, they were smiling and Jackson couldn't take his eyes off Theo's beautiful blue eyes, and at that moment he saw he was in trouble now... He likes the evil queen's daughter, holy shit. He thought.
"You have such beautiful eyes..." Jack whispered, caressing the girl's cheek softly. Theodora didn't say anything, she couldn't, so she kept staring at him, and felt her cheeks warming at his touch. "You're so beautiful, Theo." And Theodora forgot how to breathe and she stared at his lips... She could see him leaning close to her and she closed her eyes waiting for his next move, but before anything could happen, the sound of a key on the front door, made them jumped apart.
Knowing it was her mother, Theodora grabbed Jackson's hands and puffed them back to the stable's cafeteria. They were in the middle of it, close to each other. Jackson was ready to finally kiss her, but the girl smiled, kissing him on the cheek, and running out of the door, leaving a confused stable boy behind.
"What the fuck happened?" Theodora whispered to herself and ran to Taurus's cub. She really needs to figure out what to do next. Her mama was right, the girl has a huge crush on the stable boy, how ironic. She thought, and suddenly, the girl felt something in the air. She stops walking and frowned. "Something is wrong..." And she felt it again, but this time she knew what it was. "Magic. This is dark magic..." Her eyes wide and she couldn't ignore that, she needs to talk to her mother now.
And the girl wasn't wrong, on the other side of the small town, something... Someone was getting in Storybrooke.
