Hi guys, Fred Cronus here!
Wow. So I recently fell back into the Percy Jackson fandom, and I found my old fanfiction account. I went back and read some of my stories and all I can say is wow. I found so much that I would change if I could.
This story in particular, My (Not-So-Normal) Life of a Teenage Demigod, really re-sparked my interest. So I will be rewriting it!
Obviously I plan on changing a few things, considering that I was in middle school when I started it. But the basic premise is still there. A demigod learns about her family history and makes her way to Camp Half Blood. But her family history goes beyond the usual. What's beyond the usual? You'll have to read to figure it out! But if you don't let me know, I probably won't post anything?
The story will no longer follow Fynn Rider, a 13 year old kid from South Carolina, who gets into fights during school.
Instead, meet Franklin Holmes. 15 years old, sophomore in high school, with really bad luck. Or so she thinks.
If you're interested in submitting characters, feel free!
So if you guys are still here, and you'd still be interested in reading my writing, please comment, vote on my profile, PM me… just let me know that you're still out there!
UPDATE:
I am rewriting My (Not-So-Normal) Life of a Teenage Demigod, and I would really appreciate it if you all would check it out and give it a read! The story is called The Prodigal Child, and the synopsis is below:
Meet Frankie Holmes. A normal, 15 year old, sophomore in high school with really bad luck. So she thinks. When Frank's best friend decides to drag her to his mysterious summer camp after a series of abnormal events, she learns that her bad luck has less to do with karma, and more to do with the gods of Mount Olympus, who are no longer as mythical as Frankie was led to believe.
Thanks for your support, and please please please check out The Prodigal Child!
Fred
