Fly and Honey woke up in each other's fins as the sun rose and reflected through the glistening waters.
"Good morning." He smiled
"Good morning." Honey replied with a yawn.
It was the first time in a few days Fly hadn't had a nightmare and he felt refreshed and extremely happy, but he knew it was down to finally letting everything off his chest and if it wasn't for Honey he would still be in a dark place.
Shelly woke up, noticing that her plan had worked. She nudged Chuck for him to wake up, he shot up from his sleep and noticed Shelly was hinting to look in their direction. Chuck smiled, noticing the plan him and Shelly created did work after all. He had been waiting for this for a while and he was happy to finally see them both happy.
Stella woke up rubbing her eyes and yawned as she walked over to Chuck and Shelly, they pointed to Fly and Honey for Stella to look and when she did a huge smile crept over her face. She loved Honey as if she was the big sister she never had and now that Fly and Honey were together Stella couldn't contain her excitement.
"Yay!" Stella yelled, as she ran towards them both and hugged them both tightly.
Fly and Honey wrapped their fins tightly around her hugging her back.
"Good morning love birds." Chuck greeted them with a slight smirk on his face.
They both laughed shyly at Chucks comment before smiling.
"So...?" Chuck asked them both.
Fly held Honeys fin as he smiled and she returned one back.
"Ahhhh congratulations!" Shelly yelled with enthusiasm, spinning them both round happily. "I knew you guys liked each other, it was so obvious."
"Yet it was completely oblivious to us both." Honey laughed.
"Love blinds you I guess." Shelly shrugged. "Now come on, you guys only have 12 hours to get this generator fixed."
The others followed Shelly out of the cave and swam in the north direction.
"They should be ok, Daniel. They made it back before, they'll come back and bring Honey home." Honeys mother, Pearl, comforted her husband.
Honey and Fly, Chuck and Stella's family were all still at the Professors lab, pacing up and down with worry. They had stayed in the laboratory for nearly two days, the only time they left was to shower or get food.
"They've only discovered 4% of the ocean, who knows what could be down there. She's my little girl." Daniel sobbed.
"Fly must be terrified down there. They only have 6 hours left." Lisa panicked.
"He'll be fine, he has the others there with him." Bill assured.
Professor Mackrill comforted an upset Anna, he felt terrible. He thought if he never made the potion that none of this would of ever happened.
"I'm sorry... this is all my fault. I should've never made the potion." He sighed.
Anna squeezed his hand, "You didn't know any of this would happen when you made that potion. Don't punish yourself. My little Charles would be hurt if he heard you say that."
"You always make the kids so happy Professor, please don't blame yourself." Bill told him.
He felt slight relief, but guilt still lingered over his mind. He placed his head in his hands, he just hoped they all returned safety.
"Will we know if the generator has been activated?" Pearl asked.
"Yes, we will see and hear it turn on from in here." Mackrill answered.
"Let's just hope we receive a sign soon." The Professor said.
It had been 6 hours they had been swimming for non stop. They were exhausted and hungry, but they couldn't stop. They had no time to lose.
Until...
In the distance revealed a large, grey box.
They found it... they were saved.
All of them raced over to the box in excitement, it was all over. Fish could go back to normal and they can be human again.
But before they reached the box, Reggie appeared in a flash along with his army. They all swarmed around the 5 of them, the two sharks began intimidating them until they shook fearfully for their lives.
"Nice try." Reggie laughed. "You really thought after our little encounter you could get away with ruining things once again?"
Fly stood in-front of Honey and Stella as he stood next to Chuck and Shelly.
"Made a new friend, have we?" Reggie looked towards Shelly and the sharks growled.
Shelly scowled at Reggie, Stripes, Ham and his whole army. "Yes, they have." She growled.
"Adorable." He mocked. "You're all under arrest."
"I doubt that." Honey spoke.
"Oh, the little lady is feisty." Reggie scoffed.
Fly protected her even more, she felt him shake as he pulled her into his fins.
"How sweet. Young love." Spike laughed.
"Yeah bet you never received it with that ugly face of yours." Fly snapped.
Spike became angry, his light beaming brighter and brighter as he got angrier by the second. He charged at Fly, before getting too close he threw sand into Spikes eyes making him cry in agony. A swordfish attempted to stab Fly, but Honey smacked his snout away with her flippers.
"THE GENERATOR, NOW!" Honey screamed to the others, urging them to swim towards it to reactive it.
They swam away as fast as they could before the two sharks went after them with hunger in their eyes.
Reggie became angry, chasing after them too. He saw red, he wanted nothing more than to kill them all at this point.
Before Honey could even blink, she felt a hard force hit her body throwing her across the water and hitting against a hard rock.
Flashbacks swarmed Flys mind.
His dream came true.
No.
He froze in shock as he saw Honeys body hit the rock then onto the sand. Tears filled his eyes, his heart stopped and sickness overtook him. Fly screamed as he swam to Honeys limp body, cradling her in his fins as he cried.
"Don't leave me, please don't leave me." He begged her.
Reggie laughed hysterically whilst Chuck, Stella and Shelly surrounded him as he held Honey close to him.
"This can't be true, my Honey can't be gone." He sobbed. "I love you... don't leave me."
