hi folks!! my apologies for the late chapter and for the fact that is a bit shorter than the first chapter, but life has been a little wild recently, i hope you all enjoy it though :))

•Chapter Two•

Kora swallowed and shakily turned to face her sister.

"Kora, I-I don't," Daisy stuttered, "I failed. I failed last year. He survived."

Kora decided that panic was not the best course of action, so she took a deep breath to calm herself and then asked, "How do you know this? Are you sure it wasn't a nightmare?"

Daisy shook her head vehemently, "It felt so real, it couldn't have been just a dream, it was a vision. It has to have been."

Kora nodded slowly. She didn't want to believe it but she knew Daisy wouldn't lie to her, especially on something such as this, which deeply affects both of them. However, Daisy had just been given false visions through a mysterious gun, so it wasn't completely out of the question that this is just an extension of that.

"I'm going to get Daniel." Kora said with finality, and Daisy nodded.

The next couple of days passed without incident, Daisy was healing nicely and was almost back to normal, but Daniel could see by looking into her eyes that she was still plagued by those awful visions. He had done his best to comfort her, and he knew she appreciated it, but he also knew that she wouldnt relax fully until Malick-Hive was gone for good, and if he was honest, he would probably want to take a very long holiday after all this is over.

Daniel was pulled from his thoughts when Korra entered the cockpit, and sat in the co-pilot's seat.

His face warmed into a smile at seeing his new sister, "Hey Kora! How are you doing?" he asked, registering that she looked troubled.

"How are we gonna get rid of him - for good this time?" she asked quietly.

Daniel had been avoiding asking himself this question because he really didnt know.

"I-I don't know in truth," he answered honestly, "but I'm sure we'll figure it out! And look, it might not even be real, since Daisy was given all those other nightmares and the rest of them aren't true." he added, trying to remain positive.

"Hm." was the response from Kora.

There was a silence, as the two thought deeply about their situation.

"Where is Daisy, by the way?" Daniel broke the silence.

"She's talking to May and Coulson, I think she misses them."

"Daisy?"

"Yeah, May it's me! Hi!"

"Oh Daisy hello! It's been so long, how are you doing?"

Daisy took a deep breath, and recounted the events of the past week, with May listening in attentive silence.

Once she'd finished, Daisy took a deep breath and waited for a response.

"And you're certain that he's still alive?" May asked.

"Yes, it wasnt like the other visions, it was real."

"Okay, I'll alert Mack and Phil, and they'll contact you later today with a game plan, do you want me to get FitzSimmons involved?"

"No, no please don't, they've got to raise little Alya, we can handle this, we've beaten both of them before-"

"Daisy." May's voice was soft, but stern.

"Y-yeah?"

"You need to stay safe, neither of these...things are to be taken lightly, especially not now that they've fused somehow. You need to tread carefully."

"May, Hive can't infect me anymore, it'll be okay."

"No, but he can still hurt you, and he can infect Kora, you need to take care of each other."

"We will, and we do, don't worry about us."

"I'm as good as your mother Daisy, of course I'm going to worry about you, but I do trust you. How are your injuries healing up?"

"They're okay, I'm a little stiff but that's because Daniel hasn't let me walk around too much." Daisy chuckled to herself.

"He's good to you, I'm glad you've got each other."

Daisy smiled, "Me too."

"Listen Daisy, I've got to go, but it's been so good to hear your voice again. I'll talk to Mack and Phil, and make sure you check in again in a few days so I know you're okay."

"Yes mom."

"Don't be cheeky, okay love you, bye!"

"Love you too." Daisy hung up and put her phone back in her pocket.

She took a deep breath.

This won't be easy,

she thought, but at least we have each other.

"It's time." breathed the voice.

"It's time." repeated Malick.

Daisy woke again, sweaty and pale. Daniel jumped awake, and turned to his wife, "Did you see them again?"

Daisy nodded, and took a deep breath.

"What did they do?" Daniel asked.

Daisy breathed, "They're coming."
