(Whole Team 7 = Sai,Sakura,Sasuke,Naruto, and the two senseis)
A/n : Sasuke did not leave and everything is great AU :) also did they have TV's? If they don't welp guess Its sort of a half-modern AU. Ooh and They're 16 years old In this drabble. The kids I mean.
She did promise to go on a date with the girls but she just didn't feel like it today though. So here she was settling comfortably on her couch surrounded by her pillows and snacks. Turning on the tv, she checked if any shows caught her attention.
"What about action or adventure?" A tuft of blonde hair peeked out from under one of her pillows.
Surprised, she reacted by hitting what turned out to be her blonde best friend's head.
The blonde yelped and jumped as far away as he could from the spooked pink head. "Ouch Sakura-chaannn! I'm not an enemy ya know!" He rubbed his head while putting a hand out to shield himself if Sakura intended to punch him again. Which she did.
"What are you doing in my house?!" She yelled.
The blonde moved farther away and pointed to her kitchen where she could hear sounds of pots and pans being used.
"Naruto…" she gritted her teeth " who else did you bring?"
"The idiot didn't bring anybody. We were already here." Her black-haired best friend spoke up from behind the couch she was standing on.
"Wha-"
"Hey Ugly." Sakura barely stopped herself from punching the other black-haired best friend who was invested in choosing movies on her tv. The remote that she threw in fright before, now in his hands.
Sasuke said we, but if sai was here then….
"Popcorn Is ready!" Her masked sensei walked out ofherkitchen wearingherapron and plopped down beside her onhercouch.
"What is going on?? What's happening?? Did we have a team date planned or something??" She was pretty sure that she didn't have any plans for today.
"Don't tell sensei you're too busy to spend time with your old team now?" Kakashi-sensei faked sniffled.
"I do believe we are 'hanging out'" Sai supplied without turning away from the tv.
She rubbed her eyebrows, "If we're gonna 'hang out' you could've at least tell me.Especiallysince you're all hanging out In my place!!" She turned to her sensei who was eating the bowl of popcorn without any thought of sharing. "Besides, don't you have any friends your age to hang out with sensei?? I don't know like gai-sensei?"
He pouted, his lower face was covered with the mask but Sakura could swear that he was pouting.
"Unlike me, Gai actually has students that want to hang out with him."
Naruto perked up and raised his hands for a hug " Aww, don't worry sensei I-"
The conversation was interrupted by the doorbell. She threw them all a glare that said 'you better not snoop around' before answering the door.
In front of the door, stood Yamato-sensei carrying a handful of plastic bags.
Before she could ask he answered, " Kakashi told me to come here with drinks."
Well, the rest of her team was already inside her living room, she might as well invite Yamato-sensei Inside.
