(Sakura and Two others )

A/n :Hiya! I haven't updated in a long time sorryyyyy. The reason I didn't put the characters names in the title is so you could guess (ehehe) Sorry if any of the characters feel OOC. Enjoy!

She'd decided to take the long route home along the river. Following the flowing water beside her always helped to calm her jumbled thoughts. She was irritated to see a glass bottle floating by because someone had thrown their trash wherever they pleased. She picked it up while walking on the water.

Inside, she found a piece of paper with the words "I Love You" scribbled on it.

"What?" She looked upstream to see whether anyone was standing near the riverside.

It was late in the evening, so there was no one there. She walked back the way she came, too curious to just go home.

After a few moments, she noticed another bottle. She jumped into the river and back out, holding the second bottle in her hands.

She opened it and began reading slowly. "My love... for you... is bigger than the... moon?" Sakura wondered if the person who wrote these letters was madly in love or simply desperate.

Wait. The writing was different. She compared it with the other letter from before. The other was neater than this one.Ehem, if the latter could even be considered writing.

Sakura pocketed the letters in case there were more to compare them to. Moments later, twobottles passed by.

That's it. These people were polluting the river. When sakura found whoever they were, she was definitely going to send them a message of her own.

She held the two letters side by side. One was crumpled and looked like it was stuffed into the bottle while the other was simply folded and not rolled like the ones before.

She read the crumpled one first. " I will prove it to the whole world that I love-"

The sentence ended there. Weird.

Her eyes studied the second letter. "I love you more than ramen.." she gritted her teeth as she realized who wrote the letter.

Stomping onwards she saw the two culprits a the bridge over the river, tangled together.

"Naruto! You have sent my message to the river before I have finished therefore I must write another one!" She saw Lee struggling to get another piece of paper while Naruto sat on his back, stopping him from moving.

"No! Your message was too long dattebayo!! My message was already finished so I won!!"

She was definitely going to knock some sense into them.

"What are you two doing?!" She flung Naruto off Lee's back.

After recovering from the shock of being thrown off, Naruto rubbed the back of his head and chuckled nervously. "Sakura-Chan!! Ehehe we- uh-" He looked at Lee.

Lee, unlike Naruto, noticed the letters in her grip. "You have found my letters Sakura this is fate!!"

Naruto, hearing that Sakura had the letters they wrote, panicked internally. He and Lee argued about who liked Sakura-chan more and decided to have a competition. The competition was to see who could write the best love letters and throw them out into the river as wishes. So he wrote whatever came to his mind. He didn't actually think it would be read bySakura-chanherself!

Sakura shook her head. She didn't know for sure who these letters were for but a little voice in her head kept saying there was a very high chance it might be her.

She was afraid to ask, "how many messages have you thrown into the river?"

Lee without hesitation answered. "We've been here professing our love since noon!"

Since noon?! She cringed thinking how many bottles were floating in the river and what a pain it was going to be picking them up. Oh god, even worse if Kakashi-sensei heard about this. He would never let her forget it.

Smiling sharply she stared at both the boys on the ground. Luckily, there was an easy fix.

"Rather than littering, I have a better idea for a challenge." Her words held their attention.

She smirked "Whoever can gather the most bottles in the river gets to eat dango with me."

The river was clean by the next ten minutes. She bought them both dango and quickly went home.
