(Sakura & Mentioned (Ino, Naruto, Sasuke))

A/n : This was a little Drabble that's just bugging my mind. Slight Sasusaku?? (Owlie is slowly poisoning me to write romance) Enjoy!!

It took her a while to really realize she had bonds.

First was Ino, in Sakura's view Ino was undoubtedly her role model. Someone she aspired to be. Seeing her protect Sakura against her bullies. Ino helped her break free from her shell and venture out into the world. She discovered that the world was not entirely made up of bullies and jerks. There was a bond (as she realized now) between them even throughout their petty competition over Sasuke.

Their bond showed Sakura the world outside of her family.

Naruto was a very expressive and loud person. Day by day, his energy had slowly seeped into sakura. Even more so when they were assigned to the same team. He was reckless, clumsy, and occasionally extremely stupid. Despite this, he was courageous. His bravery frequently landed him (and the team) in hot water, but it also netted him new friends almost everywhere he went. For that, she admired him.

Their bond taught Sakura about the value of friends.

Now, Sasuke was a mystery. She had been intrigued by him since the first time she saw him. He was cool and brilliant at everything he did. But….he kept to himself. The exact opposite of Naruto and yet very similar. Even if they (Sasuke) denied it, they both desired these 'bonds'. He had it in his eyes, she could tell. The fear of losing his teammates, as well as the fear of becoming attached.

Back when she didn't understand, she tried to fix him. She reasoned that if she fixed him, everything would return to normal. So she worked so hard to form these "bonds" with him, in hopes of fixing him.

But he didn't need to be fixed, and those bonds were already in place when team 7 was formed. All he needed was to be healed. And what she learned from her shisho wasn't the kind of healing he needed. No. This, she realized, would take time.

She thought of bonds as friendships or rivalries back then, but it was more than that. Much much more. Something deeper, something she's beginning to grasp.

Her bond with Sasuke taught her how to truly understand others, and especially herself.

A/n : This might seem a bit OOC but it was how I saw Sakura and their relationships. Hoped you liked it!!
