Discussion (Sakura and Sasuke)A/n : warning Sasusaku! SchoolAu!
"Well, I think it was right that they ended up together." She raised her voice at the boy sitting in front of her.
He turned around, huffing, a book in his hand. He leaned in closer to her and placed the book on her desk. "Then maybe you should read the whole story, again. Anyone with a brain could easily see why they were incompatible."
Sakura locked her gaze on the boy, who turned back around in his chair, a smirk on his face. From her point of view, it was him who couldn't comprehend the hardships her favorite character had to endure in order to achieve the life she desired.
"You just don't understand!" She hissed, stopping Sasuke from fully turning away.
"I'm the one that doesn't understand?? The heroine was well on her way to greatness only to stop to help the hero?! That's dumb!" He retorted. Leaving his chair, he stood up towering over her sitting form.
"What are you talking about ? She's clearly happy helping him. Isn't that what's important? They are both living happily. Yes, they're no longer great heroes with unrivaled powers but that doesn't matter if they are finally happy for once in their lives." She said, also standing and not backing down. Although, their difference in height still made her seemed small as opposed to him.
"Maa, It's reading session not lunch break. Calm down you two." Their white haired teacher told them from his place behind the teacher's desk. Holding the same old book he brought every other day. She had a feeling it held explicit content.
"He started it sensei."
Kakashi-sensei peeked over his book, one eyebrow raised. "But you carried it on."
She sat back down, knowing they'd be sent to detention if she continued to argue.
Sasuke also sat down and returned his attention to his reading. Then he realized he'd slammed his copy of the book on Sakura's desk. His desk was bare.
"Need this back?" Her teasing voice sounded from behind him.
He begrudgingly turned back to face her. She had a pleased smirk on her face as he snatched the book out of her hands. "Our discussion isn't over."
She replied "Oh you bet it hasn't. I'm going to convince you the ending is perfect as it is."
"Tch. You can try." As he opened the book to re-read from the beginning something caught his eye.
Property of Sakura Haruno.
