While Regina was telling Wahle the answers to his questions, Emma would face the same kind of frustration, Regina had a few days ago. She was able though, unlike Regina to hide her feelings very well, so when Wahle started to touch Regina, Emma would have a face expression that would make, both Wahle and Regina tremble. Wahle, was at one point literally fearing for his life, while Regina would tremble for different reasons. She found Emma intoxicating sexy at that moment.
"Emma, darling he has to examine me. It's fine."
Emma had zoomed out. And only bit by bit Regina would reach her.
"Emma. Emma! Did you hear me? I am fine!"
"What? Yes, I am sorry. I heard you. Whale you are done, right?"
The poor doctor just wanted to make it out of this examination room alive. For all he knew Emma reminded him too much of someone else.
"Yes, we are sheriff. We have everything we need. Thank you Regina."
"Thank you, doctor."
He left, but he could feel Emma eyes on him. Clearly thankful that Emma didn't snap, he opened the door, happy to be leaving.
"Your father made a comment and it got me worried. What did he ment when he said: what you did to Hook?"
"He lives. That's more than he deserves."
"Emma, you sound like..."
"Like you? What did everyone expect me to do? Invite him to a chatafter what I saw?
Regina started to remember, what she couldn't remember was how and why Emma came to be in her room as well.
"And you went to my room that night for what reason?"
" I, well, I. What does it matter? Thankfully I was there. I do not even want to imagine what would have happened five minutes later."
"You didn't answer my question Em-ma."
The door opened and a very emotional Henry stormed in. Never in her life Emma was so happy and relieved to see Henry. She hadn't had the right answer for Regina, not now anyways.
"Mom, mom are you alright? I was so worried! This guy is crazy, first Ma, than you. I mean, I am so happy you are fine, and, and..."
"Henry, my prince. Look at me, look at me I am fine."
Taking his face into her hands, Regina wanted to calm Henry down. He looked so worried, almost like the little boy he still was in Regina head.
"Henry, your mom is fine, but she needs some rest, you think you could take care of your grandparents for a few days? I will stay with her. Henry I promise you nothing will happen to her, ever again."
Emma's little speech had Regina speechless, she sounded so deeply meaningful. While Regina could stop looking at Emma, Emma would hug Henry and whisper some words into his ear.
"Sure Ma, but you have to let me call at least once a day, and I will visit tomorrow! That's not negotiable!"
"Interesting! You just sound like your grandpa."
Regina had to roll her eyes on that one, but she was happy to have seen her son. She had missed him in the last days.
"See you tomorrow, my prince. Do not worry, I am sure your mom will take good care of me!"
Henry smiled, gave his mom a big hug. Holding on to it, Regina started to feel more than emotional about everything. She didn't wanted to worry Henry more, so she suppressed her tears.
"Love you mom, and you Ma! See you guys tomorrow!"
Henry was always a very sensitive boy, and a smart one. He knew is mom, and when to give her space. Emma looked at him, with pride in her eyes.
"Bye kid, at tell your grandparents, that everything will be fine!"
"Bye mom's, sure thing!'
"What do you say Regina, ready to go home?"
She didn't waited for the answer, Emma had already transported them to Regina's house. The place that in the last days became more and more to a real home for Emma.
A deep longing was visible in Emma's eyes, when she looked into Regina's. That would more than confuse Regina at times. She had to remember herself, that the dream she had, before Hook, wasn't part of reality.
"We need to talk, but I will let you rest first."
Emma's voice was firm, and for some reason Regina felt a kind of wrong feelings in this moment. This smile of hers, would surely drive Emma insane one day.
"Thank you for taking care of me. You are right we need to talk, but I really need to rest. See you tomorrow Em-ma."
She didn't thought much of it, but when she tried to turn towards the staircase, she felt an arm holding hers. Suddenly she found herself thrown back at the wall. Emma looked at her with darken eyes, eyes of lust. Regina prayed, that this wasn't a dream.
"I told you not to do that!"
"What exactly, Em-.."
She didn't had a chance, interrupted by a kiss. Regina wasn't able to speak the last syllable. What a kiss, though, Regina felt her knees weakening. If that was a dream, she wasn't fond of the idea of waking up.
