Miko Nakadai had just graduated from college with an Associate degree in Auto-mechanics. She is hoping to find a place where she can feel at home and fix it up to her liking. She has had a knack with vehicles since her teenage adventures with her Cybertronanian friends, the Autobots. The question remains Where can she call home?

3. Chapter 3- A call and a Meeting

Hi everyone, I am back.

My apologies that I have not updated this story in a long time, but to make it up here is the third chapter to A Place to call Home.

Without further ado enjoy!

Chapter 3 A Call and a Meeting

Miko got an idea to call an old friend. She reaches for her phone and scrolls through her contacts looking for the name Fowler, she stops at his name and pushes the call button. She heard the dial tone and then a male voice on the other side of the call.

"Hello this is Agent Fowler, who is this?" he asked.

"Agent Fowler, my name is Ms. Nakadai. I am interested in an army base to make my home. I already know the location. Do you want to meet me there?" Miko asked.

"If I may ma'am your voice sounds familiar, do I know you?"Fowler asked.

"You do, but you may not recognize me. So would you like to meet me at the location or not, Agent Fowler? " she asked again.

"I would, do you know where it is ?" he asked.

"For a matter of fact I do, the location is just outside of jasper Nevada city limits in the canyon area. Do you know where I am talking about ?"Miko asked the agent.

"Yes I am familiar with the area, I will meet you there." Fowler replied.

"Wonderful!Goodbye now. "Miko said into the receiver before hanging up. Miko closed her phone app and smiled to herself.

I better get going if I am going to meet Agent Fowler at the old base. Miko said to herself.

She got up packed the necessary items and left the house. Miko arrived at the hidden location five minutes before Agent Fowler did. She looked to the sky as she heard a helicopter engine and watch it descend and land. Agent Fowler stepped out of the helicopter and looked at a woman with long black and pink hair waiting to meet him.

"Hello, are you Ms. Nakadi?" Agent Fowler asked as he walked towards her. "I am Agent Fowler". she replied. They shook hands.

"Are you here to see the property we talked about on the phone I presume?" Fowler asked, "That's correct." she responded. She took a deep breath and looked around the rubble of the former Omega Base. "Gosh, the last time I was here I was a teenager. " Miko commented, walking around the abandoned base she once called a second home. "A teen Ms. N, are you sure ?" Fowler inquired.

"Oh, certainly I remember meeting my best friend Bulkhead here and going on adventures with him." The mention of Bulkhead, a cybertronian friend of theirs got his attention. "If I may ask Ms. N. what is your first name?" "My first name is Miko, Miko Nakadai." At the sound of her name, Agent Fowler was shocked. "Miko is that you! I didn't even recognize you." Flower said as he got a good look at her. " Gee you have grown, anyway back to business. There is not much left of the base anymore," he mentioned in an upset tone. "That is quite alright Fowler, I plan to rebuild from the ground up anyway." Miko responded visualizing the repairs she could do. As she looked around there was a flood of memories that came back to the forefront of her mind.

"Why are you so interested in this particular property, Miko?" Fowler inquired snapping her out of her trance.

Miko explained, "Well when I was a teen, I hung out here a lot with Jack Darby and Raf Esquivel, and since I felt safe here and considered it to be like a second home. I promised myself that once I graduated from college and saved up enough to get a place of my own I would buy the old silo and make it home. If that makes sense." "that makes perfect sense Miko." Agent fowler replied. As he also had a lot of memories within the old military silo as well.

"How much do you think I can get the silo for?" Miko requested. Looking at the selling paper she had in her hand. She looked the paper over, it read, The silo has been home to many different divisions of the military. Then it became a special agency headquarters for special ops etc. last time sold: $200,00.

"I think you can get for $110,00, sound good " Fowler asks. Miko thinks deeply about the price offer and then replies, "Sounds like we have a deal. " "Wonderful." Agent Fowler says as they shake hands and hug. Miko walks Agent Fowler to his helicopter and watches it take off. She turns around and looks at the run-down silo. Now for plans.
