A/N: It's been some time since I've written about Deeks' muscles, so I immediately corrected that error.
"It's daddy daughter time," Kensi said from her spot on the couch, gently lifting 1 week old Penelope off her chest. Deeks immediately interrupted his conversation with Nell, who sat curled up on the other side of the couch, and whipped his shirt off.
"Come here, baby girl," he cooed, accepting the 7-pound bundle and cradling her against his bare chest. Penelope looked ludicrously tiny in his arms. Her head was smaller than Deeks' bicep, the length of her body easily contained in one bent arm. He paced across the room, completely enthralled by the baby, continuing to talk to her in an undertone.
"I knew Deeks was going to be a good father," Nell commented, watching the way he held and comforted Penelope. Penelope currently had one tiny hand resting on his chest. "But I'm amazed at how quickly he's caught on, especially with how nervous he was while you were pregnant."
"Mm-hmm," Kensi murmured, sounding distracted. Nell pulled her eyes away from Deeks, who was now had his back to them, and glanced at Kensi. Her eyes were laser focused on Deeks, tracking his every move eagerly. Nell's mouth dropped open as she recognized the hungry gleam in Kensi's eyes.
"Kensi Marie Blye, are you checking Deeks out?" she gasped. Kensi managed to drag her gaze away long enough to hush Nell.
"I'm entitled, he's my husband."
"But you just had a baby a week ago. How can you possibly be thinking about that at all? I thought most women don't even think about sex for months after having a baby."
"Hey, I might not be able to do anything about it right now," Kensi said, eyes flicking back to Deeks. "But there's no reason I can't enjoy the view. I mean look at that chest. He's never been in that good of shape. It would be a shame to waste it."
Nell tilted her head, peering at Deeks again. His chest was very nice. So, were his abs; there wasn't an inch of fat on him. Each muscle was emphasized by his golden tan, undoubtedly the result of hours spent surfing or running. Nell let out an involuntary sigh.
"Ok, that's enough looking," Kensi said dryly. Nell jerked, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks and glanced at Kensi sheepishly.
"Sorry." Kensi waved her apology off.
"Don't worry about it. Everyone does it now. I think I even caught Sam checking him out a couple times.
"Why do I get the feeling Deeks has been getting a lot of skin-to-skin time with Penelope the last few days?" Nell asked slyly. Kensi shrugged, completely unashamed.
"Hey, Deeks gets to build his relationship with our baby and I get to fantasize about those muscles to my heart's content. It's a win-win situation," Kensi said.
"Girl, you're crazy."
"Just five more weeks to go."
