Place: Konoha, Inuzuka Compound
Inside the dining room, there were four humans and five dogs sitting at a table. It was time for dinner and Naruto was sitting on one side of the table next to Kiba, with Akamaru next to him. On the other side was Kiba's older sister Hana with her trio sitting next to her. At the head of the table was Tsume with her partner Kuromaru sitting next to her. They each had a tray that had a plate of cooked beef with steamed vegetables, a bowl of rice and another bowl filled with miso soup. Near the trays was a drink for each person. Once they all said, "Thank you for the food." and grabbed their own chopsticks, they began to eat and drink until their bellies were full. Naruto patted his full stomach in happiness and content. Kiba then asked, "Why is Naruto here?!" He spoke in such a loud voice that his mom looked at him like she was cross. Then Hana shook her head in disappointment at her little brother's antics, and said, "Hey runt you should not be so loud you know." Kiba then glared at Hana for calling him a runt. Tsume stood up from her seat and said, "Okay you two cool it before you have to clean the kennels by yourselves everyday! Also Kiba, Naruto is here cause I'm going to be training him starting tomorrow." Afterwards, Tsume told them all to get ready for bed in their rooms. Kiba rolled his eyes but headed out all the same, while Hana headed for her room; then Tsume took Naruto to a guest room.
When they both reached the guest room, Naruto was looking around in shock; the room was slightly bigger than his apartment and better furnished. The bed was better with a futon and blanket more fluffy and clean than his old set. Tsume knew he was going to be happy here, and said, "Naruto get some sleep for tomorrow you begin your training, and don't forget to brush your teeth." Naruto nodded that he would do that, and headed for the nearby bathroom to get them done; then he came out in his pajamas and sleeping cap and fell into a deep sleep for the night. While he slept the fox was grinning to himself that his jailer was going to get better training and with his new eyes he would be a powerful opponent to his enemies.
Morning came bright with the rising sun and a few white clouds in the sky. Once the sun shined through the window to his room, Naruto yawned and woke for the day; he went to use the bathroom. He quickly brushed his teeth and combed his hair. After getting dressed, he headed for breakfast with a big smile on his face. Waiting at the table was Tsume, Hana, and Kiba with their dog partners; with a meal at each person's place. Naruto sat down to his seat and they all had their meal of miso soup, fried egg, and a bowl of rice with a strip of seaweed. Once they all finished their meal, each went a different route to start their duties, except for Tsume and Naruto who headed to the clan's training grounds to review what Naruto knew. Meanwhile, Hana left to start her job at the veterinarian's office and Kiba went to the ninja academy with his partner inside his hood.
Tsume asked Naruto a set of questions, "What do you have for skills?, What tools do you have to use?, Who is teaching you at the academy?" Naruto thought about those and then replied, "I know the academy three which are henge, substitution, and the basic clone. Then we practice with kunai and shuriken on a target, afterwards we practice our taijutsu with boys vs. boys and girls vs. girls in a ring on the ground. I was never really taught much until Iruka-sensei came." Tsume looked shocked at this, and yet not surprised at all that only one teacher tried to help him, thanks to that fox inside him. Shaking her head in disappointment at those that never could see the scroll was not the kunai inside, Tsume began the training by having Naruto show his taijutsu style. It looked more like a street brawler hitting until the opponent gave up, and there were so many open stances he would lose/die to a skilled ninja before he could even defend himself. After seeing this Tsume growled in anger, while Naruto looked like he was scared of her and thinking she was hating him. Trying to get her temper to go down Tsume told him she was not mad at him, but at his so called teachers before Iruka. They taught him nothing and left him like a walking target who would die too soon. She thought he needed better clothes before the training could start, and told him as such.
They left the Inuzuka compound and headed for the Hokage's tower to get some money for Naruto's new clothes. Walking through the crowds Naruto kept his head down to not see the glares and hateful looks pointed at him, but Tsume glared right back and showed no regrets in keeping him safe. After arriving at the tower, they went inside were greeted by the hokage and got the money needed, plus were told of a shop where they would get everything needed safely. Before leaving Tsume was given a scroll to teach Naruto a better clone justu. They arrived at the store with various weapons being showed off at one side on the wall, and the other side had ninja tools, like kunai, shuriken, and ninja wire. Once inside they looked at the clothes in different parts around the store, like shirts, pants, gloves, and footwear. Choosing a set of dark colored shirts and pants, a pair of gloves, and a new pair of black ninja sandals; they left the store happy in their choices.
They headed to have lunch at Ichiraku's ramen shop where Naruto was told if he kept eating only this he would stay short. He nodded his thanks to the owners for feeding him for so long, but only ordered one bowl of beef. Tsume was shocked he wanted only one bowl and ordered one for herself. They ate in silence and headed for home to begin training all over again.
