Station 1 - Morning Transit
The time is 5 a.m. the eldest daughter of Ayase Household, Ayase Eli, is woken up by the sound of her alarm.
'Hnnnggggg…it morning already?' getting up from her bed, she then walk to the side of her table. Turning off the alarm. After stretching her body a little bit, Eli walks to the window. Opening the curtain.
It's a beautiful day outside. The sun, barely out of the horizon, has paint the sky with a beautiful stroke of reddish orange. The fresh air, still untainted with pollution, bring with them a smell of morning glory that is growing around her house.
'I have to finish the budget proposal today…and talk to Principal Minami about preventing the school from closing' as the Student Council President, she actually already know about the possibility of Otonokizaka High School being closed ever since last year. Since then, she has been searching for ways to make the school look more appealing to the eyes of public.
'I also have to accompany Alisa to the station' with that, Eli make her way downstairs.
Their house is quite big. The first floor is the living room, the dining room, kitchen, as well as her parents' bedroom. There is also a garage where her father parked his car. The second floor consist of her bedroom, Alisa's, and an empty room that is used as a storeroom.
"Morning honey, can you please help me prepare the table" asked her mom from the kitchen.
Without a word, Eli begin to prepare the plate and the table. Today's breakfast is Miso Soup. Grilled Fish, and Natto. A full-fledged Japanese breakfast. While she doesn't dislike Japanese food. Eli still prefer Russian food that her grandmother makes while they're still in Russia.
Not long after that, she heard a small footstep descending from the stair. It was her sister Alisa.
"Good Morning, Onee-chan." She Greeted. She is already in her uniform.
"Good Morning, Alisa." Eli greet her back. "Today I will accompany you to the station again."
"Onee-chan. You really don't have to. I am fine." Protest Alisa.
"I want to. What if you're assaulted by strange man again?" She Countered.
Normally, Eli doesn't have to accompany her sister to the station. However, a few days ago, during her trip back to school, Alisa is assaulted by molester in the train. She was so scared that she can't asked for help. Fortunately, someone in the train help her stop the molester and restrain him until the police came. After giving their testimony in the police station, the man that save her accompany her until she get home safely.
"Better safe than sorry." She added.
"Onee-chan." Alisa look at her sister. Then she sigh. "Thank You."
After having breakfast, the two sister begin their walk to the Train Station. Alisa goes to Higashi Girls Middle School. It was three station away from their house. it was a Normal Middle school. Not really standing out and not really bad either. Compared to Otonokizaka, Higashi Girls Middle School is far younger.
"Hey, Alisa. Does any of your friend has interest in enrolling to Otonokizaka?"
'Hmmm..." Alisa tilted her head. "Not Really. Most of my classmates is either enrolling to UTX or Seio."
"UTX, huh." Eli mumbled.
Eli knows that UTX Highchool is becoming more popular lately. It was a Modern Highschool that boast a very modern facilities and learning environment. They also had won various tournament and Competition at national level. With such reputation, it's a given that a lot of Middle School Students would want to enroll there.
'I wonder how can we become as popular as them'
While Eli is still lost in her thought, both of them arrived at the station. Immediately after, Eli notice a familiar figure. A young man. Dressed in Seio High School Uniform.
Seeing him, Alisa greet the young man. "Aragaki-Senpai."
Hearing his name, Yuuji look for the source of the voice. "Ah, Ayase-san. Good Morning." He then look at Eli that was standing just behind Alisa. "Good Morning to you too Senpai."
"Good Morning, Aragaki-san" Eli greet him back.
Aragaki Yuuji. Second Year at Seio High School. He was the man that stopped the molester and save Alisa. Since that incident, Aragaki has been accompanying, or rather guarding, Alisa to and from School whenever he can.
"I will be relying in you again today, Aragaki-san" said Eli with a small bow.
"Don't worry about it Senpai." He then turned to Alisa. "Ayase-san, I have something for you."
Yuuji opens his bag and take a small item from it. And Give it to Alisa. "It will be better to have this." He said.
"What is this?" Alissa open the Item. It was a Multi-tool.
"A Multi-tool." He Answered. "To be precise, it's a Stunt-gun that double as Multi-tool. For Protection."
Hearing this, Eli Scold Him. "Aragaki-san. I don't think its Responsible to give a Middle School Student such a dangerous Item."
Without missing a beat, he counters Eli's argument. "It's for protection. Ayase-san. It's not like I'm giving this to her so she can play with it." He then look back at Alisa. "Hide it in an easy to reach place. If you want to use the stunt-gun. Just push the button at the side of it." He Continue.
"Thank you senpai. But I don't think I'm allowed to bring this to school" said Alisa.
"That's correct, Students is not allowed to bring any sharp object to school. It's dangerous." Add Eli.
"Just ask the Principal. If you can give him a good enough reason I'm sure that he will allowed it."
"And how do you know that Aragaki-san?"
"My Principal allowed it." Yuuji then show her the right side of his belt that was covered by his Blazer. There is three Mult-tool there. And a small lock-picking kit. "Give him a good enough reason and I'm pretty sure they will allow it. They are people of logic anyway." He then hide the tools behind his blazer again.
"But Still I can't accept this. Thank you Senpai but I have to refuse" Alisa said apologetically.
"Unfortunate, but if you change your mind do tell me. Ayase-san." He then put the Tool back into his back. "Speaking of which Ayase-senpai, you're a member of Student Council of Otonokizaka yes?"
"Yes, that is Correct, what about it?"
"Just wondering, what will the student council do about the closing?" asked Yuuji
'Does the rumor already spread that far?' thought Eli, "How do you know about that?" she questioned.
"My neighbor is a second year of your school Senpai, I heard that from her"
"I See" Eli put her hand behind her "We have nothing concrete, but we're thinking of promoting our school to potential new student."
Otonokizaka is a great school. her two years studying there has been a lot of Fun. Not only that, Otonokizaka is a school that her Grandmother attend. It is a school with a long history, Tradition and memories.
"Say Aragaki-san, what is the First thing that pop up in your mind when you hear about Otonokizaka?" Asked Eli
"Hmm….." Yuuji think for a bit "It's an all Girls High School"
"….and?"
"I heard there is a lot of cute girls attending your school"
"Really, Aragaki?" Eli squint her eyes at Yuuji, Dangerously.
"Wait, wait. Calm down Senpai…ah also Otokizaka is Old!" after saying that there is a slight pause "maybe that's it?"
"Don't you have anything else that you can say? Like the School's Charm, or Achievement, or something" said Eli a little agitated.
"Well…I Don't think so? Sorry Senpai" Yuuji Apologized
"well it not your fault, it is true that our school has not won any major tournament for the past couple of years"
It's a little sad but compared to other school, Otonokizaka is indeed lacking in terms of achievements. The UTX Academy have their state-of-the-art School building and Curriculum, they also have won several national level tournaments.
Other school near Otonokizaka, Seio, is also a School that has won several national and regional tournaments. Different from UTX, Seio is a school that focus on their students extracurricular activities. Boasting an Impressive total of more than 100 club and association.
In terms of gaining the interest of potential students, these two schools is Otonokizaka's biggest Rival. If they want to succeed, they need something that can rival UTX Modernity, and Seio's extracurricular program.
"ah, looks like our train has come, Let's go Senpai." Seeing their train has come, Alisa bid her farewell to her sister. "I'll see you later, Onee-chan".
"Have a Good Day, Ayasa-Senpai." Yuuji said with a little bow. "ah, also here." Yuuji then give her a piece of Chocolate. "Good luck with your work."
The door to the train closes and the Train start moving to the next station.
Seeing her job here is done, Eli begin her way to Otonokizaka while her mind is still thinking about what she could do to save her beloved school.
She will have to talk to Nozomi about this.
