Shōji is a very open-minded and outgoing person, considered by some as the class clown and by others as the hick. But his reputation he doesn't give a damn and always remains true to himself, even though he is considered a lout.

Shōji is a bit lazy about studying and would much rather take refuge in video games or go out with his friends than do his homework. Despite his mother's strict upbringing, he is still very recalcitrant when it comes to cleaning and tidying up, often leaving his room a mess.

BIOGRAPHY

Shōji is the younger brother of a big and a little sister, and they lived alone with their mother, their father having abandoned them because he could not support his family financially. Shōji, being then the only man in the family, wanted to help his family without really admitting it, he chose to become a pro hero and worked as much as possible for that. He then passed the exams by a narrow margin and managed to integrate U.A. by 2 points, attracting the admiration of his usually rigorous mother.
