"Andy we're gonna be late!" Robert spoke as he perched against the door frame watching her.

"I'm almost ready. I just need to..." she started off while she ransacked her closet looking for a top to go with her black jeans. "I can't find the top I'm looking for" she lets us sighing in frustration.

"Babe just grab any top, I'm sure no one is really looking at what you're wearing. You won't even be in it for long"

Her head tilts up and she huffs while looking at him having a smug grin on his face "I just need to find that damn blouse. It was here somewhere yesterday." It was a simple thing, a blouse, nothing she needed to create a fuss about but she just wanted that one thing she planned for the day. She decided to take one last look and finally she found it. "See I knew it was here!" Robert chuckled and watched her get dressed finally.

She stood before the mirror and smiled. She was going to have a great day. Robert had by now made his way across the room pulling her back close to his chest as they both looked at each other through the mirror. Robert then whispered "You know I'm still here because I love you so damn much"

She smiled and turned facing him placing a soft chaste kiss on his lips "Now we can go"

The ride to the station was mostly quiet with them glancing at each other every now and again. Arriving, they walked in hand in hand and headed for the locker room. After changing they went off their separate ways, Andy to the beanery and Robert headed to Maya's office.

"Sullivan, what's up?"

"Was just wondering if everything is all set for tomorrow?"

"Yes, we're all set. I just need to get Andy to come over. We've been very discreet so she has no idea"

Robert nodded and smiled, he really wanted tomorrow to go great. "Good. We haven't told Vic any details right? Just to be there"

Maya couldn't help but chuckle "Yes. We're being really careful"

He made his way back to the beanery to get breakfast with the others. Robert as usual took his seat beside his wife. He had by now gotten used to eating with the team and he must admit it was good to experience that family feel. So much had happened over the past year and they were pretty disconnected as a team. They all chatted and ate before line up.

Lineup went by quickly with everyone getting their respective assignments and updates of what the week would entail. Once lineup was done Maya called Andy to her office.

"Hey, you wanted to see me?"

"Yes. So gimme details,what are you doing tomorrow?"

"Nothing special. You know I'm not fussy and plus I just want to stay home with Robert" Andy blushed as she spoke, obviously it wouldn't just be a 'stay in doing nothing day'.

"Of course, you're trying to get in some sexy time with your husband" Maya retorted smirking. "Anyways you can have all the time with him as you please in the day. In the evening tho Vic is coming over tomorrow so it's a girls night which means you'll be there, plus I already told her and Carina you'd be coming. We won't keep you long"

"I'm guessing you're planning on guilting me this time around"

"You know it. So come at 5 and get ready to be entertained."

Walking away Andy then turned to her and smiled "In this exact moment I really hate you"

Andy went back to carry out her duties for the day. Everyone on the team was hard at work with cleaning for the day with an occasional call every now and then; it was a slow day.

Just after 6:30 p.m they were called in to a now 3-alarm fire at a 3-story unfinished apartment building. Arriving on scene they quickly jumped into action helping out where they can. It took about 3 hrs for the fire to be contained since it had spread to adjoining buildings. Everyone was completely exhausted for the night.

"I just need to shower and sleep for hours" Travis spoke loudly as he came off the Ladder truck.

"Same. I also need food, all my energy was used up at that fire" Andy chimed in.

All eyes turned to Dean, "You're on food duty Miller" Vic spoke up. "So ya better hurry and get cleaned up" Dean shook his head and laughter erupted.

It took some time but soon enough they were all eating and soon heading off to get some sleep.

The next morning, Andy and Robert were the last ones to leave. While leaving they saw Maya in her office "Remember girls hang later" Maya shouted as she saw them pass. "Yea, Yea Whatever!" Robert eyed her as if he didn't know what was the true meaning behind their meet up.

They walked hand in hand to the car and soon were on their way home. "So you're going out?"

"Well if you mean Maya guilting me and telling the girls I'll be there, then yes. Trust me I'd rather just stay home with you. You know I don't want anything fancy or big today"

"Well we should make use of the day then" Robert said smirking.

Andy smacked him on the arm lightly and said playfully "I'm so not exerting myself, it's my day which means you should be treating me like a queen"

"Oh you can count on me treating you like a queen. I'll be doing all the work" Andy's face quickly reddened as her mind ran wild knowing very well her husband could please her the way she wanted.

They continued with a casual convo until they got home.

As soon as the car stopped, Robert whispered "Don't move." Andy was curious as to what was happening, until she saw him at her door. He opened the door, taking her bag and then her hand in his leading her up to the entrance of their home. She didn't dare question what was happening, she was just happy.

Opening the door, he placed her bag at the door and without warning he was hoisting her of the ground into his arms bridal style. A small scream had escaped her lips, clearly caught off guard by his act. "Oh, what's this?"

"Just showing my wife how much I love her" Andy smiled as she heard the sincerity in his voice. He gently brought her up the stairs to their bedroom and stood her in front him. "Now how about you get changed into that floral dress that I love and join me downstairs in 15 mins"

"What are you up to?" She questioned.

"You'll see" He pulled her body close to him gently as he placed a chaste kiss on her lips. "15 mins" he reiterated and then he disappeared down the stairs.

Robert had planned to just have a soft relaxing day with her and last night with approval he came home briefly to rearrange stuff so he could surprise her.

Andy in their room had found her dress and quickly changed also letting her hair down, her natural curls falling to her back. She was curious about Robert's plans and was tempted to leave her room before the 15 mins but forced herself to wait it out.

Descending the stairs she saw red petals and signs hung alternately along the rail. As she came to each step she read each note.

By now a huge smile was on her face and she thought to herself, I really got lucky.

The hearts led her to the living area which barely had light despite it being daytime, she was greeted by Robert with a sign 'Happy Birthday'. She wasn't one to celebrate much since lately, especially her birthday after everything with her mom. Everyone knew she didn't want anything extravagant, she wanted a normal day with her husband and maybe her family at the Station. "I love you" she echoed as she walked over to him.

He held her in his arms closely taking in her scent and the warmth of her body. He then slowly parted from her and spun her around to face the set up on the floor. They needed joy, and this was something light that they could enjoy alone and just be together.

"When did you manage to do this?"

"Just now." She looked at him "Well technically I did most of it last night"

He took her arms and brought her to sit with him on the blanket he'd arranged on the floor. "Travis dropped off the Pizza & cupcakes before you came down. Everything else I got before and set up just now"

"You know all I needed today was you right?"

"I know"

She relaxed in his arms as she took fruits from the bowl that laid in front of her. "Remember I'm here too" he teased as he saw her eating the fruits from the bowl.

"Still my day" she spoke turning to face him. "I guess you can have some too" Soon enough she was taking a strawberry from the dish, taking a bite and then feeding him with the rest. She continued the motion with each fruit she took.

They were in a bubble and it was good there. They ate, drank wine and just talked to each other. Every now and again Andy would caress his face with her fingers and just smile at him taking in the well carved out genuine man God had provided her with.

"You know, I never thought I'd find love. Or well I wasn't looking for it, 19 was my only family; the only one that mattered. You coming into my life, I must thank heavens for that"

"I have that effect on women" Robert chuckled while Andy rolled her eyes. "I'm happy I met you. Glad you were put on this earth in fact. You have changed me for the better and I would not be able to do this life without you. I'm just eternally grateful that we managed to stick through the darkness, conquered the odds and are where we are now - Two souls that are now one and madly in love. Happy Birthday my love" Andy smiled at his confession and they both held each other's gaze, their eyes filled with love and it wasn't long before their lips were connected.

With love overflowing in their hearts, they were soon passionately and slowly stripping naked and eventually making love to each other. Nothing else mattered, everything was forgotten, they were just entranced by the feeling of having each other close.

Their lovemaking continued for hours, hours of pleasing each other and just enjoying the moments and creating memories.

An hour later and both were completely out of breath and just laid in each other's arms. "I just want to stay like this" Andy spoke out.

"We have the time my love, we don't need to be anywhere" They thus laid like that, Andy slowly drifting asleep while later Robert followed suit.

After about 2 hrs Robert got up, he placed a kiss on Andy's forehead while she lay sound asleep. He quickly confirmed things with the team, finalizing the details for later.

He arranged his things and set them under the counter so he could bring them to the car soon without Andy suspecting. Once he got everything he quietly made his way outside and placed everything in the vehicle. Making his way back in he saw Andy shuffling. Realizing Robert wasn't there she started mumbling his name, clearly not fully awake. "I'm here" he said taking a seat in the couch.

Looking up she gave him a smile. "Hi"

"Hi sleepyhead"

She slowly got up cuddling with him in the couch. They agreed to watch a series and just relax for the day. After their series marathon, Andy finally decided she need to get ready for their girls night. Robert too needed to go by Maya before Andy got there.

"Since you're gonna be with the girls, I'm going to leave before you at 4 and get groceries."

"Okay. You won't see me when you get back though"

"I know"

He got ready first and soon enough he was heading out. "Bye, love you"

"Love you more"

Andy went to get ready and at 4:45 she was grabbing her keys and heading out. She jammed to her music on her way over and was at Maya's house by 4:55. She saw Vic's Car so she knew she was already there. She made her way up and entered the apartment with the key she had.

"Girls, I'm here!" She shouted as she turned to close the door.

Turning the corner she was startled by the loud shouts of "Happy Birthday!"

Her eyes adjusted and she saw the entire team there including Robert. A huge smile came on her face figuring he had something to do with this. "Guys, you didn't need to do this"

"Yes we needed to" Dean commented. "I may not like my birthdays, but you need to celebrate yours"

"Plus we love a good party" Travis added.

Everyone came over to give her a hug and say happy birthday once again.

Robert smiled as she walked over to her "Grocery shopping huh?" He just pulled her in for hug and smiled "I did go shopping yes, I just happened to have another stop after"

She lightly shoved him.

He took her bag and they joined the others. As they sat, Maya opened the champagnes and cheers erupted around the room. After everyone got a glass, they went around the room making a toast to Andy and carrying on with their friendly banter. She was truly happy and Robert was happy to see her smiling.

Soon enough the girls had separated themselves from the guys, just to catch up.

"So you caught me real good I see" Andy said she approached Maya.

"Your husband did a good job of keeping it a secret. He planned the whole thing"

"Robert?!" A shocked Andy responded.

"Isn't he your only husband?" Vic chimed in chuckling.

A smile grew on Andy's face as she thought of how much he really loved her. He really made her day perfect.

"I just didn't see him pulling off something like this. I guess I underestimated him"

They chatted for a bit more until they heard music blasting through the speakers. Andy quickly recognized the song – 'When It Rains' and knew it was Roberts doing. She turned to look at him and there he was making his way to her pulling her to the center of the room. "Ok, this is bold of you"

"I just want you to have a good time even if it means I have to put aside my pride and dance with you outside the confines of our bedroom"

Andy was glad to hear that and in no time they were both moving in sync to the rhythm of the song. Her hips swaying closely to his and the closeness of their bodies had everyone shocked. Salsa was a sexual dance so what did they expect? For the first time they were seeing them in their element, a married couple deeply in love and they were all in awe. Applause and cheers surrounded the room as the last note hit and Andy wheeled into Robert's arms their lips inches apart. She pulled away smiling and turned to look at everyone.

"Damn Herrera, this is what you've been hiding from us?" Vic shouted across the room. "Y'all got skills"

Robert had by now gotten on his knees behind Andy waiting for her to turn around. The others saw what was happening but Andy was completely oblivious, she did turn around to face Robert within seconds though and was completely taken away by what her eyes was seeing.

"Andrea Herrera, the love of my life, the woman of my dreams, the one who gave me another chance at love, at life. I know we've already been married for almost 6 months, which means I'm six months late in giving you this..." As he opened the ring box revealing a 2.7 Carat Radiant Moissanite Silver Diamond filled Gemstone. "A ring doesn't solidify our love, we do that on a daily with our actions. Just know though that I give you this ring with pride knowing you're the only woman who'll be standing by my side. Wear this ring as a symbol of our commitment to this relationship and our future. When you look at this ring, I hope it reminds you of my promise to never stop loving you. I'm prepared to spend forever with you. So will you continue to make me happiest man alive and accept this ring as a symbol of my love?"

Andy couldn't have answered him any faster, by now she had tears rolling down her cheeks. Robert had certainly outdone himself. He gracefully slid the ring on her finger and her lips met his not caring about an audience "I really do love you so much Robert Sullivan. You've made me the happiest woman alive"
