Chapter 25: Luffy's Family is Crazy!
The crew ran through the street thanking Ace that he was able to get them off their back. After all it was crazy that he was able to help.
And that was when they saw the flames come up.
"Wait! That's new!" said Luffy.
"So I guess he ate a Devil Fruit since he left." Said Haku.
"Yeah!" laughed Luffy.
"That's so cool!" said Naruto.
"I wonder if Sabo had eaten one since then…" said Hinata.
"I don't think so…" said Haku, "I've heard some rumors about him and it doesn't seem like he has one…"
The other members were confused but brushed it off for many reasons.
They figured they would know what they are talking about once they regroup with Ace.
After all they were in an area that was going to be filled with inside jokes and other things like that.
This was going to be one of those days…
They made sure that Luffy didn't get separated from the rest of them as they headed back to the ship.
"So you have an older brother?" asked Usopp.
"Yep!" laughed Luffy.
"Actually he has two." Said Naruto.
"What!" yelled the rest of the crew.
"Yeah…" laughed Luffy.
"Wait… is a situation where your blood related or not?" asked Nami.
They looked at the four due to the fact that none of them were blood related but were close to siblings.
It's a weird relationship; after all…
"Yeah, we're no blood related." Said Ace showing, "But does that really matter?"
The rest of the crew jumped in surprised.
"Ace!" cheered Luffy.
He hugged his brother who laughed in return.
"IT's great to see you again!" cheered Ace.
"Hey Ace!" yelled Naruto.
"Long time no see." Laughed Ace.
"IT's good to see you again." Said Haku.
Ace stared at Haku.
"Wow Haku… are you doing it on purpose or…" said Ace with a sweat drop.
"I saw you have a devil fruit based around fire." Said Haku glaring at Ace.
"Shutting up…" said Ace remembering the Justus that Haku could use.
"So you're a member of the Whitebeard's crew." said Zoro.
"Yeah I am." Laughed Ace.
"I thought you were going to make your own crew." Said Naruto.
"It really didn't pan out." Said Ace.
"What happened?" asked Luffy.
Ace just looked at them, clearly not wanting to talk about it…
"Okay then…" said Naruto with a sweat drop .
"You guys hear about Sabo?" asked Ace.
"I've heard somethings…" said Haku.
"Well I doubt Luffy did." Said Ace, "His pirate crew is now allied with the Revolutionaries."
"Revolutionaries?" asked Luffy.
"Wait! You have a brother helping?" asked Vivi.
"Actually from what I heard from Sabo they're not even helping." Said Ace, "When I told them we were going to meet there I asked him about it… turned out it has nothing to do with them… from what I can tell the Revolutionary Army would rather seek peace with the king of the this country."
"I see…" said Vivi with a sweat drop.
That did ease her a bit.
"He even said there's something suspicious going on with this whole rebellion thing." Said Ace.
"We know…" said everyone else.
"Do I want to know?" asked Ace with a sweat drop.
"She's the Princess of this country." Said Luffy and Naruto pointing at Vivi.
"Oh that makes sense…" said Ace.
"How does that make sense?" asked Usopp with a sweat drop.
"You haven't been on the Grand Line that long so…" said Ace.
"He does have a point." Agreed Vivi.
Everyone else just sweat dropped at that remark.
"Who is Sabo?" asked Sanji.
"Oh he's our Middle Brother." Said Luffy.
"I'm the oldest, then Sabo and Luffy is the baby." Said Ace.
"I'm not a baby…" pouted Luffy.
This made Ace and the four laugh.
"His crew is the Blue Freedom Pirates." Said Ace, "You'll probably run into them sooner or later but I get bragging rights that I got to meet you first."
"So you have brothers that two notorious pirates." Said Nami.
Luffy laughed.
"That's not getting onto Luffy's Grandpa." Said Gaara.
Luffy and Ace froze.
"Gaara! Do you have a death wish?" asked Naruto.
"I'll be fine." Said Gaara.
"Don't bring up grandpa" yelled Luffy.
He tried to punch Gaara but the sand protected him.
"Gah" yelled Luffy.
Ace tried to give a fire punch to Gaara but once again the sand protected him.
"Luffy's grandfather who for some reason was taking care of Ace is a very powerful Marine." Said Gaara.
There was an awkward silence.
"WHAT!" yelled everyone but Jiraiya.
Both Luffy and Ace sighed knowing they could stop Gaara.
"Is it someone we've heard of?" asked Zoro.
"Ever hear of Garp the hero?" asked Gaara with a smirk.
The rest of the crew and Vivi were shocked.
"What is up with your family?" asked Nami.
"I don't want to talk about it…" said Luffy and Ace as the same time.
"Please don't tell them any more…" said Hinata.
"Fine…" muttered Gaara.
"So what has been going on with you?" asked Ace.
"It's a long story…" sighed Naruto.
"So tell me." Said Ace.
"Let's talk about it over lunch." Said Luffy.
Ace laughed.
However as Sanji made lunch and they told him about what they were dealing Ace wasn't laughing.
"Okay… other worlds… that is definitely off my weirdness scale…" muttered Ace.
"Yeah…" sighed Naruto.
"They're still danger but at the moment it's fine…" said Jiraiya.
"So much do you have to worry about them getting you?" asked Ace.
"I don't know…" said Naruto.
"But we do need to be careful." Sighed Gaara.
Ace looked at Jiraiya.
"Who are you by the way?" asked Ace.
"Someone from the world we're they're from." Said Jiraiya.
"I see…" said Ace.
Once lunch was done, Ace knew he had to leave.
"I wasn't planning on eating lunch with you guys, but I figured it would be a good chance to catch up." He said.
He then took out a piece of paper and gave it to Luffy.
"Next time we each other it will be at the top." Said Ace.
He jumped off the ship and left.
"We're defiantly going to meet more of his family aren't we?" asked Nami.
"We are." Said Hinata.
"Why didn't you ever say anything about your grandpa" yelled Nami.
"Never bring up my grandpa!" yelled Luffy.
Everyone sweat dropped.
As they got ready for the next part of their journey, Ace also swept through a bunch of Baroque Ships hoping them big time.
But still they met a member of Luffy's family and it was for sure they would meet more in the future.
Next Time: IT's time to head stop the rebellion but the journey it triecious. What will happen? Find out next time!
A/N: Sabo will appear in the future, I figured that due to the four's presence what happened in canon did not go down like Canon... his crew will be the same one as Monkey and Butterfly... hope you don't mind.
