Hello, fellow human beings! I mean, I'd assume that everyone is human. Please inform me if you're not, so that I don't make the same mistake again! Okay, welcome to Harmonia's flashbacks part two, I guess. I'm Cor Mortiferum, FFN's resident Spirit Queen, and I will be your author for tonight! Today is Friday, so an update is likely, and here it is!
If they even read this, I'd like to thank MythaWolf for our fun discussions. Check them out!
Okay, here we go, onto my not-super-long chapter. How do people even write 20-page stuff? I don't know, but I digress. Please try to enjoy my crappy story that has no plot line yet, of ever. Btw, I'm open to end-game ships... *winks*
With a jolt, Harmonia was pulled into the next memory.
"C'mon Concorde, it'll be fun!" Harmonia shook her head, closing her eyes to avoid Eris' surprisingly good puppy-dog-eyes.
"No, Eris, you KNOW that I don't drink!" She insisted. Eris rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. The disco ball light reflected off the purple sequins on her dress.
"It's not like you can't stomach it." Eris grumbled in annoyance.
"Well, actually…" Harmonia began tentatively. Eris' eyes widened and she adopted a shocked expression.
"You mean…" the black haired teenager began.
"Well I told you, I don't drink!" Harmonia defended herself.
"But c'mon, you can't stomach a BOTTLE OF SPRITE?!" Eris' other best friend, Melinoe Spirique, put her head in her arms, and everyone nearby practically screamed in frustration. How could Harmonia not be able to drink Sprite, of all things?! Eris slumped against a wall and ran a hand through her messy hair.
"Well, this is obviously a hopeless case, so I'm going to let you sort yourself out." Eris shook her head in disbelief at Harmonia, before slightly stumbling away. Hey, Eris was good but she wasn't perfect. Nobody was. Although some debate could be placed on Harmonia herself and Aphrodite Valentino, who was the school's resident feminine beauty. But I digress.
Harmonia closed her eyes in frustration, getting increasingly amused and upset with her classmates' attempts to give her a Sprite. Eris stood over by a wall, staring at them with an amused smirk on her face.
"H-hi!" An unfamiliar boy's voice stuttered. Eris jumped slightly, before turning to look at him. The boy was her age, with messy dark brown hair, that looked almost black, and golden eyes. He had a shy smile on his face, a genuine nervous smile. Wow. No one had those anymore.
Eris peered at him curiously. "Who are you?"
The boy fidgeted with his black t-shirt. "I'm Hades. Hades Helstone."
Eris smirked and held out a hand. Hades took it. "And I'm Eris. Eris…" Hades cut her off.
"Trojan. Yeah, everyone knows you."
Eris laughed lightly. "Should I be flattered or offended?"
Hade shrugged with a grin. "Do what you want." Eris was about to say something, but got cut off before she could.
"Hades!" A girl's voice exclaimed happily. "You're back!"
Hades smiled. "It's nice to see you again, Sepphie." Persephone Springer laughed and gave her boyfriend a kiss.
"We saw each other a week ago, Hades!" Hades shrugged.
"But it seemed longer without you."
Eris laughed nervously. "Too much PDA for me…" she started back away slowly as Hades and Persephone turned to face her. She stepped back farther, until she broke into a run, going straight for Harmonia. "HARMY! HEEEEELLLLPPPP!"
"DON'T CALL ME THAT!" Harmonia replied. Eris started fake-crying.
"You don't love me?" She 'sobbed'. Harmonia face-palmed.
Harmonia smiled at the memory, before she was pulled into the next one.
Harmonia gave Eris a tight hug, and the black haired girl laughed.
"C'mon Harmy, I'm FINE!" Eris giggled. The blonde looked at her unimpressed.
"Really? You almost DROWNED and you say that you're FINE? You are NOT fine!" The blonde insisted.
Eris shook her head with another laugh. "You are INSANE, Harmy!"
"I love you too Eris." Harmonia said sarcastically,
Eris laughed insanely. "BACK TO THE POOL!" She yelled, giving Harmonia a kiss and running off before she could be stopped. Harmonia sighed in frustration.
Harmonia blinked at the memories. They were getting increasingly more emotional as they continued. The next one started.
"Cadmus, please sit next to Harmonia." Ms. Abio said, looking up from her clipboard to glare at Zeus Rainier who was making out with Io Heiverd in a corner of the room. "Mr. Rainier, you have a GIRLFRIEND, and I do not appreciate PDA in my classroom!" The pair broke apart, blushing madly, and looked anywhere but at each other.
"Eris, you sit next to Athena!" The teacher stated, gazing unimpressed at where Eris was standing next to Harmonia's desk.
"Oh, sorry Ms. Abio!" The teenager smiled sheepishly, before winking at Harmonia and walking over to the desk next to the class 'genius'.
"Hi, I'm Cadmus!" The blonde boy grinned at Harmonia.
"I'm Harmonia." She replied softly, feeling her cheeks heat up.
"So was the girl back there, Eris, your friend?" Harmonia should have said no, that Eris was her girlfriend, but she couldn't. She argued with herself that it was because she didn't know if Cadmus would support her, but she should've known then. Harmonia wanted Cadmus to think that she was single.
"Yeah, she's my best friend. So, who's YOUR best friend?"
Over the months, Harmonia and Cadmus became closer and closer. If Harmonia thought for one minute that Eris was suspicious, she would have stopped immediately. Alas, love blinds the senses, and Harmonia and Cadmus were no exception. His sister, Europa, had warned them, but they didn't listen. But now… now there was nothing either of them could do. It was too late. Eris had seen them.
