Inks POV
Ink was hunched over walking to his new dorm for the next few years of college. It was pouring and he had nothing to wear except for his tan shirt and some brown pants he had managed to budget in a store. Living with humanity was certainly more weird than fellow monsters but at least he had something right? His clothes were already drenched and it took him everything to keep the map Ink was using to even find his dorm from getting wet. The rain continued to pour, rolling down his skull but at last he had made it to the apartment his dorm was supposed to be in. Luckily he didn't need to register as he had done that before time and he simply had to find his room... what was his room. Ink panicked! He had forgotten his dorm number!
'Calm down Ink you have it on a paper in your pocket moron' he reminded himself entering the building, finally out of the rain but dripping everywhere. There was nobody at the desk, which made sense as it was almost the middle of the night. Ink just followed the number to his dorm, leaving a trail of dripping water everywhere he went. He was feeling a mixture of emotions, excitement, concern, maybe stress? He wasn't sure if his hopes to be paired with a random monster or human had worked out or not... or if they would even be awake! But he knocked on the door anyway feeling slightly guilty.
No answer... maybe there is nobody there or they are asleep? Do I have a key? Is it even locked?! Ink checked the door trying to open it. Yep locked, and I have no key he answered himself after checking so there has to be someone else here? He knocked the door harder and heard angry grumbling from inside. He felt guilty and stepped back, pulling his positivity together. The door swung open revealing a dark skeleton from inside, with blue tear streaks running from his eyes down, speaking of eyes his eyes were red with yellow irises in both, one had a blue interior to that yellow and was larger than the other. He was wearing dark blue clothes with black pants it was too dark to notice anything else. Ink sucked in this information while staring at the strange skeleton, who wasn't amused. "Hiya! I-Im Ink... im your uh... new r-roomate...?" Ink lost his confidence as the skeleton stared him down silently.
Suddenly the skeleton tried to shut the door quickly but Ink grabbed it stepped forward nearly touching him, the skeleton lurched backwards. Ink glanced at him curiously but didn't dwell on it and he just stepped inside closing the door behind him, stifling a sigh, he hoped he would be more welcoming later... "So... whats your name! I ensure you this is my room as well as yours!" He handed the skeleton his paper with the dorm name. He didn't make any move but looked at it for a few seconds longer than it should have taken. "Error" Error said his voice was weirdly glitchy and now Ink realized his whole body was. Interesting, he stared again and Error growled at him and walked to the bed... the only... bed. "Only one bed... Guess ill sleep on the floor and find myself a sleeping bag tomorrow!" He whispered to himself enthusiastically.
"Are you sure your supposed to be here..." The glitchy voice of Error asked from the bed. "Uh... I think so?... this is the right room...?" Ink seemed uncertain of himself but the glitchy skeleton confirmed it was the right room by grunting in response. "G-Guess ill sleep on the floor..." He couldn't hide the shivering from how bad he was freezing from the drenched clothes he was wearing. "Is there not a separate room? Like a bathroom?" Ink asked as he walked besides the bed on the opposite side of the room from the door... "Downstairs..." Error replied muffled by sleep, Ink didn't want to go downstairs so he just laid down, shivering and trying to fall asleep.
Errors POV
'Who the fuck is this? Who does he think he is!? Waking me up at this time of night, almost touching me! (Although I guess he didn't know about my haphephobia) AND STARING AT ME! Such a creep! I never wanted a double dorm with anyone let alone a weirdo like him...' Error was tired and couldn't fall asleep from being angry. He just lay there in bed, he started hearing something from the other skeleton... He leaned over the side of the bed he had laid down next to... Ink was drawing... and the pencil noises were driving him crazy... and yet he just laid there quietly too tired to yell and watched him... The creep was drawing him. He pushed himself to the opposite side of the bed annoyed...
'Uhg do I seriously have to live with him now?' He growled to himself as the pencil noises intensified, he was glitching more than he needed to be over this, nearly crashing, which was never enjoyable. Error was so angry by this. He just wanted to live alone... maybe he could drive this skeleton out by being himself. Rude and unenjoyable. Finally he had enough of the penciling... "CAn yOu sThuT uP witH thatT!" His voice was disorientated by fatigue and anger. The drawing noises stopped and he heard stuff being put away. "S-Sorry..." He heard Inks voice from behind him on the floor, he smiled enjoying that he had made the skeleton guilty...
Error laid in his bed thinking about how he was going to devise a plan to get rid of this skeleton... he had bullied monsters and humans before it couldn't be too difficult. He lay in silence slowly falling asleep as he planned when thunder and lightning suddenly sounded, booming loudly. Error growled in annoyance, would i be quiet here?! then he heard a gasp and the rattling of bones, annoyed and irritated he was about to yell when he heard murmuring from the other skeleton, they seemed terrified. He growled turning around and leaning over the bed again, the skeleton was shaking and muttering stuff to himself, the wimpy artist was probably scared of the storm. 'God im going to murder him...' For some reason Error felt bad for Ink... until he shook himself disgusted at his thoughts of having any mercy. He grabbed one of the pillows on the bed swiftly turning and thwacking Ink with it.
The other skeleton instantly screamed and covered his mouth with surprise and the fact he realized there were people trying to sleep. Error growled. "Your so damn noisy im never gonna fall asleep." Error was badly glitching from irritation again. Ink looked around quickly and locked gazes with him and seemed to calm down but he was still shaking, rattling and rattling and rattling... Error was getting more irritated by the minute that he didn't process the skeleton had reached up to him curiously probably wondering why he was so... glitchy, Error switched his gaze to the boney hand reaching up to him and quickly pulled himself backwards glitching harder. "D-DOnT TOuCh mE" He yelled, glitching, abandoning the pillow and pulling the blankets over himself. The rattling had stopped and he only heard a sigh as the skeleton seemed to lay down again on the floor, using the pillow Error had thwacked him with. After a few minutes Error was able to calm himself down due to the silence the room had finally fallen into as the storm seemed to quiet down. 'Almost crashed twice today, ill note that down as a hazard...' He told himself before falling asleep, or rather... passing out?
