The next day, Jun had gone off at Yasuda with Hyousuke watching in the background, when Mai came around she immediately had tried to sneak her way back out, but Jun caught her and gave her an earful about how reckless they were with endangering Fuji the way they had.

Of course, Yasuda had to shove a foot in his mouth when he said that Fuji could handle it as she's not your normal kid, this made Hyousuke even madder but before he could step in to bring his foot down to knock Yasuda a good one, Jun had punched Yasuda so hard that he flew into a few buildings over until he reached the hospital.

Hyousuke smirked.

Jun then looked at Mai to see if she too had anything smart to say, she of course kept her mouth shut about the subject, and just asked where Fuji was so that she could see the damage for herself when presented with her mummy of a granddaughter, Mai was glad that Jun had broken some of Yasuda's bones as she was going to go and beat that boy into a pulp.

Unwrapping the bandages on Fuji who has a fever, she began to heal whatever damage she could.

She then asked Jun to go and fetch Mamiko when it looked like Fuji wasn't healing as fast as she normally would.

When Mamiko arrived with both Reiki and Kushina who were in the living room confused as to why they were up at 6 in the morning on a no school day, Mai had her enter Fuji's room to see the damage for herself.

When Mamiko saw the broken ribs, some just bruised, and the concussion along with low chakra, Mamiko took out her arm and placed it in Fuji's mouth where Fuji was still knocked out and couldn't do it herself, she forced her to bite, blood dripping with her chakra went into Fuji's mouth, healing up the more extensive injuries she had.

When Mamiko felt like Fuji had enough, she pried her mouth open and took her arm out of Fuji's mouth.

At least now, Fuji's breath isn't labored, and her chakra is stable enough for her body to use to heal herself.

Then she smacked Mai, over the head for her idiocy, grumbling about Mai going senile, Mai of course was offended as she had nothing to do with the training Yasuda had out Fuji through, but she was smart enough to keep her trap shut.

"Watch when my sister Hotoru finds out about this, I bet she'll kick your ass for not keeping watch over Fuji," Mamiko said, huffing

Mai smacked her lips and crossed her arms, looking away before telling Mamiko that she too would be in trouble once Hotoru find out, as she was responsible for taking in both Fuji and Kushina last night but only brought Kushina home.

The two bantered back and forth between each other until Jun smacked both of them on their head and kicked them out of Fuji's room as they were being too loud.

"Geez, it's like I'm the only adult here besides Hyousuke," Jun mumbled and turned away to go to the kitchen where Hyousuke was cooking breakfast.

Mai and Mamiko both followed silently after Jun to eat some well-cooked food, which Mai didn't get served which prompted a smirk from Mamiko who slowly took bites out of her food, along with exaggerated noises of content. Mai rolled her eyes then stared at Hyousuke waiting for her plate, it never came.

Annoyed and hungry she snapped, "Hyousuke

what is the meaning of this? Where is my plate of food?" She asked

Hyousuke hummed before answering, "Yasuda told Fuji that she couldn't eat till she finished her assignment, if he had said to her that she could then she would have been home and not who knows where hurt, so for punishment, you don't get to eat any of my food until Fuji wakes up and says you could"

Hyousuke knows that Fuji is too kind-hearted and would never, not, let anyone eat, even when they, themselves have denied her food that she wants, so he's doing this mostly for himself and for her same because he knows Fuji will never hold it against anyone else for the state of her wellbeing.

"He did what now!? Huh! When I get my hands on him! That man, I'll throw him in with the pigs!" Mai yelled enraged

"I have never, and I mean never! Told Fuji to not eat, I encourage her huge appetite as she's a growing girl who needs the nutrients or else she'll stay her tiny self, and she won't grow in strength either, I can't believe the nerve of him!" she continued with her rant, the yelling waking up Fuji from her slumber.

Fuji felt pain run through her entire body, she let out a small groan, her eyes blurry, and her ears ringing, this is the second time she's woken up like this isn't it? The first was when she met Kento-kun, just 2 days ago, she sighed, she couldn't it was as if her body was under a boulder. Her neck was stiff, and her fingers barely twitched, she could use some of those magic berries that the forest car had given her right about now...

Her mouth tasted like blood, different from the monkeys, she retched, gagging without throwing anything up, it forced her body to move and it hurt so much. Maybe if she was born as a normal kid then she wouldn't have this problem of tasting too much. Heaving her breath, hyperventilating, wheezing out whatever air that came in, and coughing up a storm when she was able to keep some air in her lungs, it was loud enough for her visitors to hear, Jun immediately ran to the room with Mai and Mamiko, Kushina, and Reiki running after but were stopped by Hyousuke.

Mai grabbed the water on the desk and took out 2 pills, Mamiko sitting on the bed beside Fuji, helping her sit up, and Jun right there watching, anxious as she wants to help too but the positions are already taken, so she went to the other side to fluff up the pillow behind Fuji, grabbed the bucket of water beside the bed stand along with the rag to refill as Fuji seems to still have that fever.

Fuji couldn't lift her arms for the life of her, when she tried, they just shook and caused so much pain for them to just stay in the same place.

Mamiko grabbed one pill from Mai, tilted Fuji's head back, and placed it at the back of Fuji's mouth then she poured water into her mouth down her throat making Fuji choke, and cough on water.

Mamiko repeated this once more, even when Fuji tried to fight back to stop it from happening, it wasn't much of a fight since she couldn't move but still, she tried.

Water was spilled over Fuji's stomach and legs, meaning that her bandages have to be changed.

"Fuji, I need you to open your mouth once more okay? You have to trust me for this okay?" Mamiko spoke gently

Fuji didn't want whatever they were going to give her next, but since they sort of got rid of the metallic taste of blood in her mouth she obeyed.

Opening her mouth just wide enough for whatever they're going to stuff in, Fuji closed her eyes and waited for the inevitable pill that was coming, except it didn't, no what was placed in her mouth was warm, and smelled like aunty Mamiko, and tasted like... Some soapy strawberry body washes, with some scentless lotion that was put on right after.

Fuji opened her eyes, to see her aunt Mamiko with an encouraging smile, and her arm place in Fuji's mouth, dread-filled Fuji's gut.

"I need you to bite for me okay? Don't worry, I can handle the pain, this will help you get better I promise" Mamiko said, gentle and encouraging with a simple smile.

Fuji felt like she's going to cry, she hated the taste of blood, tears welled up in her eyes, she closed them, unable to look at her aunt while she bites her, Aunt Mamiko might have said it will help heal her and such, but she doesn't want to bite her. Doesn't want this kind of help.

She didn't bite, making Mamiko soften, "Fuji dear, it's okay to bite me, this is an ability that my family has, your mother, and maybe even you hold as well, we use it only on those we chose to, out of love, you're not forcing me to let you bite me to heal yourself Fu-chan, okay?"

Squeezing her eyes shut even harder than before she quickly sunk her teeth into Mamiko's skin, drawing blood, into the chakra coils.

"Take as much as you need Fu, I could handle it," Mamiko said sweetly, not at all bother with Fuji's sharp fang teeth piercing her flesh.

Sucking on the bite from her aunt's arm, she felt her chakra go up from where it was, back to where it normally should be, she felt the pain fade away to nothing but a background buzz, she opened her mouth taking her teeth lit of the arm and opened her eyes to see the bite mark.

The metallic tasted bitter in her mouth, her body didn't seem to care as much this time as she's not gagging but she still felt sick, maybe she was just in shock, or maybe she's getting used to the taste, but she hopes that not the case, hopes that she never would get used to the salty iron taste.

Mai wiped her mouth with a napkin and placed a cup of eater against her lips to drink, she did, this time it didn't get rid I'm of the taste, no it still lingered in her mouth.

Prominent enough to remember for years to come...

Fuji's throat was raspy but she still tried to speak, "did Hyousuke cook breakfast yet?"

Everyone in the room with her smiled, Jun left to get the food that had undoubtedly been made for Fuji to eat.

"It was a joke! I didn't know Fuji had taken me seriously! Hey come on Fuji you got my back right? Fuji? Right!?" Yasuda said in crutches, panicked as he now had 2 more angry women at him.

Fuji ignored the commotion in favor of the food that was presented to her, it's lunchtime now and Hyousuke made her some mango pudding, delicious, she hummed in content, giggling, she gave her fist out for Hyousuke to bomb, he did.

She's able to move now, walk with some stumbles but that's alright, her ankle isn't swelled up anymore and her bruises are long gone, all that's left are some cuts that are now smaller than what they used to be.

Kushina and Reiki both playing outside, making flower crowns, and catching lizards, butterflies, rollie pollies, as well as snails.

In the background, Yasuda was getting another round of ass-whooping, Mai and Mamiko, body slamming him into the ground, not caring for his broken bones.

What a wonderful afternoon, Fuji thought, bringing her mango pudding outside with her, with some help from Jun, she sat and made some pretty flower crowns as well, playing with the rollie pollies who curl up into a ball when scared. Feeding the lizards some of her pudding, and watching the butterflies land on the crowns.

"AHHHHH NOT THERE, NOT THERE, NOOOOOOOO" Yasuda yelled out to Mamiko and Mai.

Yes what a good afternoon indeed, hm maybe she could lay here and watch the clouds. Yeah, that sounds pretty nice.

Yasuda was emitted into the hospital for the second time that day.

Jun and Hyousuke both cleaned up their respected areas, After they were done, Jun grabbed a picnic basket filled with food that Hyousuke made, along with a blanket, and called out for Fuji, who came sliding down the stairs handle, they laughed, Hyousuke licked up the house, and put his elbow out for Jun to hold, and held his other hand out to hold onto Fuji's hand, they made their way to Fuji's secret hideout place to watch the sunset while they snack on food.

Fuji smiled a huge smile, happy with today's events, and dragged Hyousuke and Jun to rush them so that they can't miss the show that the sky puts on for them at the end of every day.

These two people right here are precious to her, and she knows that in their hearts she holds the same spot as they do in hers.
