Amity Blight tried to channel all her magical ability although sluggish. Before she had taken a swing, the witch turned back. Luz and Maria wasn't in sight… she had probably moved the body off the battlefield. She kept her head low, focusing on her opponent's footwork. Amity wasn't going to fall into another trap.

The two each took a step forward, one waiting for the other to pounce. Every move carefully examined. As Luz would so etiquettely put it; enough stalling. Finally, it was she who pounced, leaping forward with fists flying.

All fists passed through the man of many names as he walked through her and behind, solidifying himself to send a kick to her lower back.

He cocked his head "Do you really think you can take me down, an elite criminal, with such blunt attacks?" he chuckled humorously

"I think not" he growled, visible eye darkening further.

"Don't underestimate me, the star pupil of the leader in the emperor's coven!" she screamed, anger getting the best of her.

'Emira, Edric, Luz, you're not here to save me right now… After this, they'll never worry about having to again!'

Every move now faster, every swing, every kick, only wore her out. If anything, the masked man seemed amused.

Amity swung for Victor again, except this time, she MEANT to go through, fists making contact with the monument in honor of a hysteric fight. It was amazing how one crack travels so fast.

"This is where your legacy ends, Victor."

The masked criminal's eyes widened as he looked up at the crumbling monument, he swung out, fully solidifying himself with no intentions to pass through anything again. He grabbed the Green haired woman and held her firmly at the upper arms.

"You're going down with me. Be glad. If you lived, what more is there for you? Your precious is dead. And you have nothing. So accept death with me and then we can both see the ones we love again." Victor whispered, closing his eyes and hugging Amity tightly as the face of a special deceased woman crosses his mind.

"What? Are you crazy?!" She yelled, honey eyes watching a view of the greatest criminal falling, literally.

"Let me go!" The business woman trying her hardest to pull away, large rock fragments tumbling their way.

"A wise man once said, if you abandon your mission, your scum, but abandoning your comrades make you worse than scum."

"I need to bring Luz home dead or alive! NOW LET GO!" Using her body weight to throw the fighting pair out of harms way, if they were to die it certainly won't be from a crumbling statue.

The masked man stopped dead, eyes wide, his grip loosened and Amity easily flung the two out of harms way. The Blight was genuinely frightened. His hands still in contact with her skin, making her amity's skin crawl. She could just hit him now, and snap the mentally unstable man out of the conscious comatose, or she could charge up her magic, and hit him hard enough to make it count. Any reconciliation would be fake, as Amity recalled, this man killed Luz.

'Do what it takes to survive.'

She could hear her former classmate whisper in her head. Now, eyes large with sudden courage to mask the fear, the green haired woman softly put a hand on the masked man's arm as well, and swallowed the lump in her throat.

"Victors, you're a good boy…" her stomach turned in disgust as she felt as if she was about to throw up.

Victor was hit with so many thoughts and feelings all at once. His chest tightened up painfully. He gasped suddenly, mind taking its opportunity to switch to doubts. The criminal grabbed his head with one hand and groaned painfully. He glared down at the greenette. His voice was dark and furious when he spoke, just with a hint of doubt.

"No, I'm not" He latched his hands onto Amity's throat and squeezed.

"I don't like you… You make me think bad things. You're no fun to play with anymore. I'm done with you." He growled, his breaking mind trying to go back into the fight.

The witch stared in desperation, realizing she still had scarcely low magic. When she engaged in this fight, she thought it'd be gruesomely physical. She now recognizes to beat him, she had to catch him off guard. Amity was in no fighting condition, but she knew what needed to be done.

'It's another long stretch but, it's worth a try!'

With that, hand movements going unnoticed, the witch preformed a transformation.

"Victor… I know you're a good boy.."

Victor released the girl with a loud gasp and backed away in fear and confusion.

"R-Robin!?" No, it couldn't be, but there she was. Brown hair curled towards her face and parted in the middle, purple eye liner. She still had Amity's voice. The man of many names must have been going insane.

"No… NO ROBIN Y-!" He cut himself off with a pained noise, gripping his head.

"T-Tobi… isn't real… Neither are you!" He shouted, trying to convince himself. He shut his eyes tightly and swung blindly at the girl, trying to rid himself of the image he was sure his mind had produced.

Amity dodged flawlessly, her fist making contact to his jaw.

'Now's my chance!'

And the female strategically laded every blow at pressure points, and although strength hadn't been on her side stealth was.

Victor stumbled back, head and arms hung down. He remained that way, silent and unmoving for a moment before straightening up slowly and dangerously. He growled in almost a demonic tone.

"I'm done playing around." His head snapped up, visible eye crazed and wild, shining almost ruby and onyx from his rage. One menacing hand reached up for his mask, or what was left of it.

"My true face will be the last thing you ever see." His hand firmly grasped his mask and slowly began to remove it.

The greenette braced for it… the final blow… she didn't cower, she hadn't fretted, but simply closed her eyes and awaited a soon reunion with Luz. And that she did.

As Victors hand gripped his mask, something in Amity knew It was over…

Moments passed without consequence, her eyes held firmly shut, the Blight hesitantly peered one open, only to gawk in awe. Was it possible? Had she already passed, and arrived at the afterlife without her knowing?

"Luz…" she whispered, almost afraid that if she had attempted to touch her she would disappear in the wind.

"No… It can't be…"

Her stood there, color returned to her face, brown orb's glistening, and hair rusting in the breeze ever so gently. Luz had intercepted, his own hand griped on Victors.

"You didn't possibly think you could get rid of me THAT easily. This battle is over. Until next time, under different circumstances. Retreat." She said, not once faulting. The older man had said nothing, nor tried to move from the hold.

"Luz! We made It! Awe, man is stuff about to go down!? Just in time!" shouted a familiar voice that had only been a peck in the distant. Well, there was two dots, only one had been more quiet.

"Until next time, Luz" said the ancient man, who had simultaneously disappeared in the vortex of his own eye right from Luz's hand, as Juan and Antonio approached. Staring at her own hand now, mind far away, Luz looks at Amity.

Her heart had stopped… The things he saw in the two minutes she had been dead made him not want to come back… She had even seen an angel; and decided to go with her. Except this was an angel on earth, and she needed her more than the gates of heaven. That's why she hadn't hesitated with the next move made.

Honey yellow met Chocolate brown, as did their lip's. The criminal had cupped the witches face, and as if magnets; the tow engaged in a heart pumping, mind blowing, sensual lip contact associated with what could only be described as fireworks. When the two finally broke away, now looking at each other with mutual looks in their eyes.

"HEY! Greeny! Luz! What's Maria doi… Woah! Go Luz!"

Luz Noceada then whispered the unthinkable.

"Let's go home, Amity."

Does anyone get the reference?
