Dear Readers,
Thank you so much for reading my stories. A part of me would really like to be able to continue these fics and gave them an appropriate closure. But the truth is that I can't see it happening anytime soon.
First, because I haven't touched these texts for a long time I ended up missing the route I'd like them to take. Second, I no longer have enough free time than I used to have, nor feel my mind stimulated to actively devote myself to finish them. I'm really sorry. I know it's not fair to readers and followers but that is the reality. I get very sad too when a fic that I love is never completed.
However, If I ever write again, I've jotted some ideas down, so here's a very quick summary:
"Shadows Of The Past" would have a development very similar to the movie. Physically recovered from his broken back, Bruce would be able to escape from the pit with Nattie's help. Before returning to Gotham City, they would regroup somewhere in Europe where he must train himself again to challenge Bane. Nattie would prove to be an appropriate partner for the purpose since she would reveal herself to be Rã's al Ghul's long lost daughter, Talia al Ghul. Despite the initial shock and anger, Bruce would accept her help and would end up falling in love with her during their training and prep sessions. Talia would explain that she got into Bane's revenge crusade because she felt she owed him and the League of Shadows something.
In the third act climax, readers would be led to believe that they both had died (Batman and Talia), but a final scene would show the two meeting up again at the Himalayas (the same place that appears in Batman Begins). An epilogue would quickly show them in some paradise island, just lazing and enjoying some romantic time together. Then, out of nowhere, a message would be broadcast from General Zod (a hint of what was going to happen in the Man of Steel movie).
