Sakura's next team mission was to catch the missing cat, Tora. Naturally, the whole team hated the mission.

"Sasuke, I'm at point point B.."

"Sakura, I'm at point C.."

"Naruto, I'm at point A, Dattebayo!"

Kakashi spoke over the walkie-talkies

"Okay Team 7..The target has moved, Follow it!"

They were closing in on Tora and Kakashi gave the word..The three genin all dove for Tora at the same time, knocking into each other.

"Teme, this is all your fault!"

"Usuratonkachi! No, It's your fault we messed up the mission!"

Sakura burst out "GUYS! SHUT UP! We can still complete the mission..I know where Tora went, follow me."

She spread our her sensory net and felt the small ball of energy named, Tora. He was in a back alley near Ichiraku Ramen Shop, the shop Naruto loved dearly.

Sakura grabbed Sasuke and Naruto by the hands and led them to the alley where Tora was resting.

All she had to do was scoop him up and bring him back to the hokage's office, where Madame Shijimi was awaiting the return of her precious feline. Then, pay day! Even if it was just a D-rank mission. Sakura didn't want to mess up this mission, it was bad luck, surely..But they needed to work on their communication skills if they wanted to make it into the chunin exams. Sakura was always a knowledgeable young girl. She wasn't the top of her class in physical strength, but academics. She blew her classmates out of the water.

"Woah, Sakura-chan! How did you know where Tora even was? That's so cool!" Naruto questioned.

Sasuke was just as curious as Naruto. She could feel it.

Kakashi appeared in smoke.

"I have the answer to that kiddies, our dear Sakura-chan is a sensor, and a damn good one. One day, she'll give the enemy a run for their money. She probably learned from a young age, refusing to use a cane or a ninken. But that's what we call determination, and raw strength. Those are all good characteristics of a shinobi.."

Kakashi reached out and ruffled the pinkette's hair. Only for Sakura to try and swat his hand away.

"Naruto, Sasuke..We don't know much about blind culture, do we? Or much about Sakura-chan at all? You guys are a team, a family..try and get to know each other, learn from each other. Who knows, you might end up surprising one another, ne?"

"Now, How about we go bring Tora to Madame Shijimi, Team 7?

Hokages office:

"Hi Jiji!"

Sakura facepalmed

"Naruto..He's the hokage, show him a little respect."

Hirzuen raised his hand "It's alright Naruto-kun and Sakura-kun. I see you've completed your mission. I'm very pleased, as for your next mission, another D-rank.."

"NO, NO, NO , AND NO! NO, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I'M TIRED OF STUPID D-RANK MISSIONS! I WANT A REAL MISSION. NO MORE BABYSITTING, GROCERY SHOPPING, OR PAINTING HOUSES!"

Iruka sitting next to the hokage stood up and slammed his hands on the desk.

"You idiot! You're just a brand-new genin freshly minted with no experience! Like everyone else, you start with simple missions to develop your skills and prove yourself."

The hokage sighed..He knew why Naruto was acting out. He wanted to be recognized not as just a brat that just did pranks, got into trouble all the time..Naruto explained to Hirzuen he wanted to hokage. He wanted to acknowledged by the village.

"So be it."

"Huh?" All of team 7 said.

"Since, you're so determined, I've decided to your team a C-rank mission. You'll be body guards.."

Naruto jumped up in glee.

"Alright! Yeah!" Who are we guarding a princess or a counselor?"

"He's coming in right now..Tazuna-san?"

"What the hell? What are a bunch of snot-nosed brats doing guarding me? I was expecting jonin"

A tall weathered old man shuffled in the hokage's office drinking what seems to be booze. Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi saw him. But, Sakura could not.

Sakura could smell alcohol on the elderly man. She could smell it from a mile away. She figured out he was elderly by his voice. She could feel it in her bones that this mission was going to be bad luck. Something would go terribly wrong.

"And, YOU, the short one with the idiotic look on your face, you honestly, expect me to believe you're a ninja? Ha! You've got to be kidding me.."

After the disaster in the hokage's office. Naruto trying to kill their client. Team 7, new body guards hit the road for Wave Country. She could not shake the foreboding feeling that this mission would go terribly wrong. Someone would die..
